Food and drinks were delicious and fairly priced. Has a cute comfy vibe and the service was very nice

Stopped for a quick coffee before making our way to the golden gate and we were very pleased! We ordered two iced coffees, a bagel sandwich, and a croissant sandwich and all were delicious! The location was right on the way to all of our destinations so it was very convenient. The service was great, we would definitely come back.

I read all the reviews. First Cup should be your first choice for breakfast and lunch. My breakfast sandwich was ready in about 3 minutes. Coffee is delicious too. I will be back daily now.

A cute local cafe with reasonable prices! Great for coffee or a quick bite. The sandwiches are hefty and full of flavor.

Fire breakfast sandwich, husband and wife behind the counter, convenient location. In and out in under 5 minutes. What more do you want from your neighborhood breakfast sandwich spot?

Iced coffee, and the blended taro

I was staying at a nearby hotel and saw the great reviews for this place. If I wanted hot coffee, they had a convenient side station for it. I couldn't decide what I wanted so I got the Iced coffee, and the blended taro drink which I highly recommend. My fiancé got a breakfast bagel and an iced mocha and loved it. The woman working behind the counter was very nice too! Definitely going to stop by again on my next trip.

THE BEST deal for a breakfast sandwich in the area. If you are staying near the Fisherman's Wharf area this is worth the trek. Just a simple "mom n pop" in an area let alone a City where this is scarce. You can go to your reliable comfort zone of a chain where they unwrap your breakfast from it's plastic wrap or come here and support some people making your stuff fresh. I had a simple bacon, egg, cheese and avocado wrap. What made their breakfast sando different was she toasted it and it came out like a quesadilla suiza. SO GOOD.

Some sandwiches come with lots of meats and some are saucy and some get cheesy like some in SF. There are some famous and historical places to grab sandwiches in North Beach like Molinari and Freddie's. There is also a place on Columbus Avenue by Joe DiMaggio playground park on which has a French name and serves up some of San Francisco finest sandwiches and it's called" Le Sandwich ". On a Winter season stroll in the beginning of 2026 , I landed at Le Sandwich. This place has lots of sandwiches available made by Chef Elias. I decided to try their Primo ( means Prime in Italian) sandwich. I have to say this is one of the tastiest sandwiches I had in San Francisco. It had meats which were tender such as Genoa Salami, coppa, and ham. It's has melting provolone which made it cheesy like some in SF. They also have FikaLove which is baked goods available like chocolate croissants and cinnamon buns for Fika( Swedish for Coffee break). San Francisco is the place where you can get international foods without the" jet lag" by a park close by were as a kid I use play "tag"and the sandwiches are so big they stick out the " paper bag "and inside has of lots decor from international countries including the "USA flag". Hearing about this place having three restaurants across San Francisco made it sound like a chainstore pizza joint like Pizza Butt( I mean Pizza Hut). I have tried this place before and it's local to San Francisco and I wanted to give it a whirl in person. On a Spring stroll down Lombard and Van Ness where the hotel and motel signs are over mile deep I wanted to try an American favorite which are pizza pies. Pizza pies have become more American than apple pies these days . I went inside Chico's and tried their pepperoni and sausage before Good Friday approaches. The pizza slice was kind of cheesy like some in SF and it had pepperoni and sausage but not too saucy . The dough was pretty doughy but flakey like some in SF. It reminded me of some old school style of San Francisco pizza which is good paired with a case of beer. We started with some Blue Moon drafts--only $5 and just perfect. We both ordered the clam chowder bowls and an order of garlic fries. We ordered the crab chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl. The bread was stale, dry, and hard, making it difficult to enjoy. On top of that, the chowder itself wasn't even hot, it was barely warm. For a chowder restaurant, this was really surprising and disappointing. We let our waitress know about our concerns, and her response was simply that she would let the chef know. There wasn't much acknowledgment beyond that, which made the experience even more underwhelming. Overall, we left disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place based on our experience.

My husband, being the seafood fiend that he is, also ordered the crab chowder in a sourdough bowl. If you're getting multiple chowders, I'd say one sourdough bowl is enough for the photo moment and gives you more than enough bread to enjoy. The clam chowder was definitely the star of the show. It was thick, cozy, and seasoned just right. The crab chowder, unfortunately, was a bit disappointing. It didn't have much crab flavor and was thinner than I expected.
