THIS IS WORTH READIND IF YOU ARE THINKING OF TAKING YOUR VECHICAL THERE, IT MAY SAVE YOU MONEY. my experience was ridiculous, I almost paid over $700 ,on a new catalyic converter that I didn't need, luckily I took my car to an honest auto shop that told me I didn't need one, and informed on what I needed to do, getting back to first class that guy working there 6/9/2023 would not listen to me and became aggregated, he told me he was offended, apparently he didn't know about the information I relayed back from the muffler shop down the street, long story short, I asked to talk to the owner of the shop who I was told was Ryan, but I think it may be Harold who I met two years earlier, but was told he was unreachable and was n ever in the shop. A couple of days later, I got a call to come get my refund and was told that they did not want anything to do with me and my car, hummmm. I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that I called in the referees or the BAR(bureau of automotive repair). Requested a quote for a smog on a late 90s SUV. Quoted $150.. nearly triple what I've been quoted at over 3 spots. I went here previously on a different make and model, had a great interaction but idk where this high number came from. I've had this car for over 10 years and have never been quoted that high. Cannot say I recommend doing business with this establishment, I understand you need to make a living but price gouging is not the way. I told you I wouldn't leave a review but the fact you gave a quote and then said the DYNO wasn't working anyways is just confusing. Keep searching I'm 100% sure you'll find a better deal, not like anyone actually wants to get their car smogged so why pay higher than you have too. read more

First Class Smog charges a "Groupon Processing Fee" which doubles the standard certificate fee. $16 in fees over and above what you pay for the Groupon. Wants Groupon business, but doesn't want to pay for the marketing and volume Groupon provides. Hopes you won't notice and lies about it when asked. Completely dishonest and unfair to Groupon customers. You'd pay less if you just walked up. Groupon says they are investigating and thankfully refunded my money. Took my business elsewhere and suggest you do to. **UPDATE** Owner says no record of service, because I refused to pay the fee and left. Notice he doesn't dispute the facts of my review. We actually have used his service before he charged the Groupon fee and had no complaints. If he stops charging Groupon customers a fee, I will remove my review. read more
