Smog checks are inconvenient and annoying. However, A1 made the process so quick, easy, and efficient! Mohammad was very quick and responsive through Yelp to address any questions I had. The first time I came in I was asked some preliminary questions and a diagnostic test of some sort was done on my car. I had just changed the car battery earlier that week and my car wasn't ready and was advised to come back after driving it around for a few more days. Saved me from a failed smog check! I came in again a few days later on a Saturday morning for the smog check. Luckily it passed and I was probably out in 10-15 minutes. I highly recommend this place and would recommend to my friends and family. read more

Reached out via Yelp pretty late on Friday. Got a quote (there's even a discount) and came first thing in the morning. It was a bit tricky to find--you'll need to turn right on Watson and A1 is on the left side. If you go into the plaza past Watson on Lincoln, you'll miss it and have to drive back around. (I might have set GPS on the address on Yelp rather than the name.) Regardless, I'm glad I managed to find it. The service was fast and the staff friendly. read more

I can't believe how fast I got a reply when I sent a message!! Extremely fast response, gave me prices, let me know I would be able to come in and get my smog done even though I had my maintenance light on!! I thought for sure I was going to have to get my oil changed to get that light off first!! Great customer service, I appreciate that! Thank you! I now know where to send people! read more

A1 Test Only & Smog - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Cypress, California

Quick & easy out the door in minutes. Fair pricing, can't go wrong with this place. Zero hassles.

I've been to A1 Test Only & Smog on several occasions to get a 2013 Toyota Prius as well as a '90s Honda smogged. This place gets busy, a sign of a good business, and they are pretty efficient with their smog tests. I've seen other cutomers come in and were given some advice on what to replace before getting tested in order to pass - free of charge. I don't remember the actual prices I paid for my smog tests but do recall they were much less than other smog test stations nearby. If you're near the area and in need of a smog test, be sure to give A1 test a try. read more
