Opportunity comes knocking on your door from time to time, and this morning happened to be my time. A female friend that I have had my eye on for so long that I needed to make an appointment with a dentist for my sweet-tooth, just so happened to be freshly broken-up from her former beau and she called me of all people to spend her Saturday with. Now I wasn't rooting for her relationship to fail but I was certainly going to take advantage of the opportunity when it was made available. I had one problem though, one major problem. My registration was expired and I was in need of a smog check if I was going to have my vehicle back in action. Sure, I could just risk it and drive, and believe me my friends, that woud be my normal move, especially with a woman involved but I had already buried some secrets in my trunk and I could not risk getting pulled over and being discovered. This is the part of the story where people start asking, "what's in your trunk?" If I was the type of person to tell you that answer, I would also be the type of person who does not currently have a "situation" in his trunk. Panic melted away into relief relatively quickly because I knew I had a smog guy and my smog guy was the best smog guy. He does a good job, he charges a fair price, he offers some good conversation and most importantly he never, ever looks in your trunk. I drove down to First Class Smog and was in and out within 15 minutes, which is not always the case because there is usually a few people already waiting in line but today was one of those special days where there was no line and nobody asking about my trunk, just smooth sailing ahead. I eventually got to meet with my lady-friend and the rest of the day that rolled into night was such a beautiful and magical experience that I will one day, in the future, write to Penthouse to detail this unexpected rendezvous. Stay up to date on your smog check and chasing the newly available my friends...

I had to get a smog check last minute and Harold was able to accommodate me last minute on a busy weekend prior to closing. Great flexibility and customer service. The pricing was fair as well and you can't beat the convenience of it all. I'll be back next time.

I took my car here to get the smog done. They were quick and communicative. Their yard is small, so it's hard to get your car in, but they have seating while you wait. They told me I FAILED my SMOG test and they can't say why because they're not a mechanic. I then took my same car 5 minutes down the road to another shop, and the car PASSED SMOG. I'm not sure if it was their equipment or the tech, but I don't think I'll be returning. I paid $55 since I paid with a credit card. The other location charged me $51. read more

If you need a smog check for your car, try coming here to First class Smog in Fullerton, CA. If you also check in while you're here, Yelp will provide $20 discount for your first service (which can be applied for your smog test) and you should be in and out within half an hour. The owner was friendly and nice, offered me a seat to wait until the test was completed, and made me very comfortable as a customer. I will definitely be back for future smog tests for sure :) read more

I went to them and my car didn't pass because the battery wasn't full charged and wiped out the computer information. Jason told me to drive 100 miles and come back. It's still not cleared but everything else was ok so he had the mechanic next door look at my car and he told me to drive it more and come back. It passed and Jason told me that he only helps his customers. Go and ask for Jason and he'll take good care of you. Tell him that you saw my review. read more

Came here to get a smog check. The gentleman here is very nice and respectful. Quality work is definitely here at First Class Smog. The work ethic they provide is extremely good. They definitely do take smog checks serious and obey all rules and regulations in compliance with the BAR. I would highly recommend any of my family and friends to this smog check station. I've been to other smog shops and they don't have the price like this smog check station. They check very carefully, and fast. Truly wouldn't regret coming here again for any of my smog needs. Harold ROCKS! I came in just after noon on a Saturday, and was helped right away. Small shop with a huge lot (picnic or bbq heaven I'll bet) and fair prices (standard rate for a small SUV). Got me in and out in about 10 minutes, and I passed (not that Harold can influence that, but it sure was good to hear ol' Bessie is hanging in there legally). Very clear explanation of what I was signing and what happens next: he e-filed with DMV when it passed so I'm good to go, but was also given a paper receipt to verify in case issues arise. Thanks, Harold! read more

I pulled in to this place, the guy pulled my car into the testing area and we began to chat as he was getting my car ready. When I finally settled in to do some reading, he was already pulling my car out. I was done; he had run the check while we were talking. Before I could even gather all my stuff, he was handing me the certificate, charging me the amount we agreed on with no nonsense or upselling and sending me on my way. Quickest, most effortless smog I've ever had and right in my neighborhood. Cheapest smog check station ive been to. Sure, I was cynical about the reviews on this place. That's alotta stars for an emissions tester. Well, it deserves every one of them. This place does everything right. It's a quick test, no wait, friendly staff--the guy even made funny faces to entertain my antsy two year old. For people who deal with car exhaust all day, they sure have high spirits A hard working honest man that cares about the customer, this is what we have here. i have been taking my cars to this location for years now. i must say i am always at ease with him. i know he is a hard working honest man that goes the extra mile. his tests are honest and so is he. he is the person he is fast and looks our for the customer. speed he gets an A++ even when there has been cars ahead of me i never wait long, professionalism A++, he knows his business and does it well, being kind and easy to work with A++, he is no robot and you can tell he is a genuinely nice person. read more

Went to First Class Smog after seeing all the great reviews this facility had, their service was fast, friendly, and very affordable/efficient. The people working here at this facility truly do have a passion for smogging vehicles. They are very knowledgeable of smogging cars. They are extremely fast. They hold there value of there name First Class Service. I will definitely be returning back for my future smog checks along with referring my people here for smog checks if they ever need one. The service I requested was definitely met and much more. They offer snacks, water as you wait. I never been to a smog check station where they offer you snacks and water as you wait for your smog check. Highly recommend this place to anyone that needs a smog check. Do not hesitate or even think about this facility twice. Many 5 star reviews speak for itself. Thankful I found a smog check station that values their customers, great customer service, great work first class smog. Truly honestly, humble, and great people. They even have conversations with you as they are smogging the vehicle. I've been to other smog shops where they don't even talk to you, a lot of smog shops just kind of kick you to the grub and wait but not with First Class Smog. Thank you very much for smogging both of my vehicles in a timely matter!! read more

Will highly recommend coming to First Class Smog Check. They are extremely fast and friendly here at this facility. Quality of work was definitely met I will be recommend my family and friends here. They are awesome, the value of work is definitely here. Thank you so much for making this easy for me and my wife, also very close to home. Harold was fast, efficient, and trustworthy. He definitely does know what he is doing. They even offer you snacks and beverages as you wait, every other shop I've been to for a smog check so not offer anything, not even a chair to sit down. They have inside and outside waiting rooms. Thanks for having an awesome customer service. Will be returning for all my future smog needs and will definitely recommend family and friends to come here to get a smog check done if needed!!!!!! Don't think about this facility twice. The low star ratings are just people trying to knock down the business for no reason, just because they are doing their job the right way!!!! Shame on those people. read more

I had an excellent experience at First Class Smog Check. Harold was incredibly professional, friendly, and honest from the moment I arrived. He got my car in right away, completed the entire smog inspection in less than 30 minutes, and had me back on the road before I knew it. Not only was the service fast and efficient, but the pricing was very competitive compared to other smog shops I looked into. It's clear that Harold values both his customers' time and their money. The whole process was smooth, hassle-free, and professionally handled from start to finish. If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy place to get your smog check done, I highly recommend First Class Smog Check. I'll definitely be coming back for my future smog checks, and I'll be recommending Harold and First Class Smog Check to my friends, family, and anyone looking for fast, honest, and reasonably priced service. It was time for the first smog test I had to do in decades and I was dreading the prospect. A quick search on Yelp showed this place as getting stellar reviews and I decided to give it a shot. Even though I figured it would be pretty busy, I called over to the shop and Harold said he could get me in right away. I arrived early and Harold greeted me at my car with an introduction, a handshake, and a smile. We were off to a good start. He got my car in right away and explained the process Just like everyone else on Yelp, After a more 15 minutes, I left with everything handled. I can assure you that I will not be going anywhere else for my smog needs, and that goes for anyone else who will listen to me. Thank you read more

Great guy, prices are good, honest and straight to the point. Doesn't beat around the bush. Been to plenty of smog check stations (Fullerton Master Smog and Test Only). They turned me down due to internet issues. Guy working at that station was rude, disrespectful and seemed like he didn't want to smog my car. First class smog service was great. Super nice and friendly. Can't ask for much more. Don't look back. Keep doing what you're doing bud! You're doing great! Will bring all my cars here from now on and refer people your way. read more
