Called for a last minute smog and they fit me in before they closed very accommodating and price was good.

First time needed a smog check. Called First Class Smog and got no answer. Less then a minute later Harold returned my called. He apologized that he was with a customer and missed my call. Not a big deal at all my man! He was super nice answered all my questions and walked me through everything. I was in and out of there in less than 20 minutes. If you don't pass they re test for free within 30 days. Do not let the outside fool you! It looks a lil sketch but they are very professional and knowledgeable. read more

I went to Smog Express and received horrible service. It was so bad that I didn't even let the employee finish the smog check. I did some research and stumbled upon First Class Smog and I'm so happy I did. Harold was efficient and very helpful. As a woman who doesn't really understand how a smog check works, I was happy when Harold answered all my questions. DISHONEST/ SCAMMERS Harutune (Harold) didn't even hook up the cable to get my smog check yet he says that it failed because my gas cap from fuel tank is cracked and leaking fuel. I asked him how does he know it failed due to that when I stood there watching him check under my hood without hooking anything up to my car to run the smog check. He never even looked at the gas cap prior to giving me the BS about my car failing the smog check. He tried to sell me the gas cap for $25 which I turned down and asked him to run the smog check. He never did a smog check yet he gave me a certificate that says it failed (see picture). Charged me 41.75 for some bogus service which he never did (see photo). Awful people to scam a customer. Provide the service you are licensed to do. I maybe a woman but I'm definitely not stupid. So I drove down a few blocks away to get my smog checked at another location. I watched them hook up the cable and administered a smog check. It passed (see photo). I am not shocked that the owner, the one who scammed me, has the time to respond to this a few minutes after posting my review. You continue to provide a poor dishonest service to customers so you will never do well in your business. You claim I changed my gas cap, see the photo, it's the original gas cap that's still stuck to its attachment. You also lied about wanting to give me a free re-inspection. Look at your receipt that you gave me. It's in red. You circled the amount that you'll charge me if I do decide to go back to you for the re-inspection. You are an awful person. read more

I have been doing smog checks for different vehicles here. Today 03/18/24, I arrived at 11:30 AM, and the young man who does the smog check was working on a car off to the side of the smog shop. I greeted him and he ignored me until I walked up to him to really get his attention. I told him I paid $50 + cert the last time (Nov,23) I was there, and he said this time it will be $68. He was rude when I told him I had paid less last time and told me he "wasn't there to negotiate prices". As he is getting into the vehicle he tells me he doesn't even know if it will pass smog because its shaking. I lost confidence in him, and I told him I would get the smog done elsewhere, so I left.
