We've been eating at First Class since we moved to Irvine about two years ago. We typically order delivery and have only had occasional bad experiences where the toppings have slid off the pizza by the time it gets to our house. Understandable and forgivable. Last night when we went to order take out, we were shocked by how poorly the restaurant was being run. The bottom line is that they seem to have forgotten entirely about the pandemic. Food and trash were left out the entire time we sat waiting for our food. The tables hadn't been cleaned. We witnessed a waitress pick up eaten wings off of a plate with her bare hands to throw them away; this is only after they saw me taking pictures of the mess. She then proceeded to go back into the kitchen and used two registers without washing her hands. The "bartender" also picked up dirty dishes and trash and then moved to pour beers without washing her hands. The place was disgusting, and my wife, son, and I sat there wearing our masks until our food was done. This is coming from a guy that tends to be reasonably loose about mask-wearing. Always check your pizza before leaving here. It is usually a delicious, perfectly cooked pizza but I once came here and a bunch of teenagers were goofing off in the back and high fiving and handed me my pizza without showing it to me. First Class offers the finest pizza in South County, fresh ingredients, the best service with a smile and respectfully owned by the some of the best people in our community. So great to hear that Papa Jeff has retired out of state, this man has given his best to ensure the best pizza was produced right here in Orange County. Delicious pizza! We've tried the great white and bbq chicken and they were very tasty!

Stopped in Sunday evening to catch the game and have some pizza. This location was close to home and id never been, thought id give it a shot. The pizza was fine, pretty average to be honest. Same with the antipasto salad too. The service wasn't the friendliest, but they did the job and served what I ordered in reasonable time. I actually come here at least twice a month. My GF likes pizza what can I say. But i must admit, the pizza here is really good, i travel a lot for work, and i always loved the pizzas in both New York City, São Paulo Brazil and Chicago. But upon returning to California I always felt let down by the pizza here. I have found a few pretty good pizza spots and this is one of them along with Sonny's in San Clemente. My GF usually get her own combo of toppings , pepperoni, meatballs olives and onions. I prefer their white pizza. This place allows you to split the pizza, so we usually each get our own half, although recently she has been invading my white pizza side! I have never tried the thin crust, but i may in the future, their regular crust however is pretty good. They also make a pretty good chicken wing, although they see, pricey for just a few wings. All in all though, good pizza spot, I do actually come here fairly often, lots of parking, and they also do a good job of getting orders correct and out on time. Would definitely recommend read more

Great pizza place near where I live so it is perfect! The pizzas are pricey but you can definitely find coupons around. We love the Hawaiian pizza here. It was REALLY delicious and by far the best Hawaiian pizza we had (it's on their menu under a different name). Our normal order is bbq chicken and the cranberry Gorgonzola salad (the absolute best!). However, I was feeling like venturing out and trying a new specialty option. I LOVE pastrami so I thought this would be a great option. Unfortunately the online ordering site does not have photos or descriptions. My mistake for not checking Yelp but I was in a hurry to pick up my daughter. Had I know it was COVERED in Dijon Mustard literally as a pizza sauce, that would be a HARD no for me. A little bit is fine but this is glops and mouthfuls of just mustard/pickles hidden under cheese. None of us were able to even eat it. Ordered a pizza and said it would be ready at 5pm I set out at 4:50 to pick up the pizza just for it to be completely cold. Cold pizza is absolutely the worst. Especially paying 40$ just for one pizza you would expect it to be hot. after picking up the pizza I looked at my email and they sent a completely different time for the order to be ready. a whole 23 mins earlier. explains the cold pizza. does not excuse the two different pick up time. unacceptable and will not be back to spend 40 dollars on cold pizza. read more

I walked in on Sunday afternoon with minimal customers dining and ordered a small 8 inch pizza, I nearly fell on the floor when the cashier told me the total was $27 yikes! I asked the cashier to confirm that I had ordered a small and he confirmed "yes it's for a small". For comparison $27 would get you a large at Folk's Pizzeria in Costa Mesa which people consider to be a real Pizza restaurant. First Class Pizza is far from a real pizza restaurant, it's your generic Chuckee Cheese pizza business that exist in every neighborhood, started by someone who could have easily chosen to open a laundromat rather than a pizza restaurant. So back to the subject, after I agreed to pay the small ransom I sat down and patiently waited. After 30 minutes I went to the counter to inquire about my order as it seems to be taking an exorbitant amount of time to bake this miniscule sized pizza, the employee went to the back room then came back and informed me that my pizza is "still in the oven and it would take another 10 minutes". OK then, I sat back down and waited. After another 20 minutes had passed by I went back to the counter to inquire, employee tells me "it's still in the oven" well at this point I've had enough and asked for a refund. Employee turns to the manager and asks for assistance, and during the discussion it was discovered that my pizza had been sitting under the front counter for sometime. Sorry NY but thick crust is my favorite when it comes to preferred style. When it comes down to it nothin beats a fresh soft dough pizza right out of the oven. Also ordered their garlic bread which essentially is pizza dough with just butter, garlic and Parmesan cheese and I have to admit I ate half an order of garlic bread before I finished 1 slice of pizza. With so many corporate pizza places in Irvine, it's great to have a high-quality, privately owned establishment in the area. In these 10+ years, we've tried almost everything on the menu and they've consistently knocked it out of the park!!! Appetizers Wings - 5/5 - We typically get the lemon pepper but have tried buffalo, garlic parmesan, mango habanero, honey buffalo and teriyaki. They're always nice and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They give a hefty serving for only $10. Potato Wedges - 5/5 - These aren't your grocery store potato wedges, they're so fluffy and you get a TON for only $6 Onion Rings - 4/5 - They're really good when you can eat them in-person but definitely get soggy in the packaging. Sides of ranch - 10/5 (Yes, 10 stars.. Haha) - Their ranch is homemade and is so good. The kids want to dip everything in their ranch so we always order extra for the kids to dip their pizza crust. There's nothing more hurtful than prepackaged ranch and First Class does it right! Pizza - 5/5 Okay, so first thing is that they clearly use quality ingredients and don't skimp on the toppings. You're definitely paying a premium for the quality ingredients (and probably location) but it's worth it. Keep in mind that their normal crust is pretty thick! So, if you're not into a ton of crust, I recommend getting their thin crust. We've also asked for it to be "in-between normal & thin" and they've done it Dessert (Yes, dessert) - 5/5 Cinnza is so good!!! This place has exceptional pizza with an interesting choice of specialty pizzas that you wouldn't typically find at your average pizza place. I personally really enjoy the spicy south western it has a nice blend of flavors and the honey mustard like sauce gives it a different feel that I didn't think I I wanted on my pizza until I tried it. My wife really enjoys their great white pizza or the veggie pizza which are both very delicious as well. We usually do half one and half the other which is great that they give this option. The customer service is also good. We came in once and they had made a mistake, so they credited us the whole pizza. (Gave us thin crust instead of regular) They have personal pizzas as well which are a decent size and their wings and Sammy's are also pretty good if you don't feel like pizza. I had this restaurant around a week ago and ordered the Veggie and BBQ Chicken pizzas and they were quite good. From this order, I enjoyed the Veggie pizza more, however both of them were pretty good. The service was good as well as the pizzas were prepared generally quickly and were large in quantity. A friend recommended this place to us after we moved to the Woodbury area. We got our first taste of it in the middle of our move -- we even got a pizza for the movers too! Their thin crust pizza is to the die for. We've ordered here multiple times now since the lockdown. Delivery is painless, and ordering is super easy! I also like that you can add craft beer to your order, but you have to call in for that (their online ordering system does not allow alcohol sales).
