I have never had a poor experience here and every time I visit, there are a bunch of customers sitting and enjoying their food. There's are always old grandpas eating, having coffee, talking, reading the newspaper... I highly doubt poor customer service and crappy bagels keeps them coming back, LOL. I prefer these bagels over other DPA bagel stores and also love that I can make my own coffee to my liking. Their lox spread is legit, none of that weird fake pink stuff. Nice chunks of lox! Delicious. Their bagels are always fresh and never hard or burnt or overcooked. I never need to order mine toasted here, bagel people - you know what I mean. The staff is always nice and friendly.
