Fried chicken cutlets were thin and dried out, the bruschetta toasts were $9 for a small container maybe20 mini toasts, we bought to have with the tapenade on them but the oil used to toast them was rancid they were very old, must have been sitting on their shelf for months, $9 in the garage. Same with the bread sticks - stale, old and over priced. The pasta salad was ok, bit tasteless, rice balls had a weird sour taste as did the mozzarella balls. The meatballs looked like chicken meat balls they were so light in color several people asked me 'are they chicken' they were not, they were gross, mostly breading and didn't have any taste, they also didn't put any sauce in the container though in the case whenI ordered, they were down with sauce. We didn't try the several kind of olives or roasted peppers we purchased as we ended up going out to lunch elsewhere because after all of that wasted food, we didn't have enough food for everyone on the boat. I've never had a worse experience with an Italian market, what a waste of $140!! Better to make the drive to Gemelli's in Babylon.

I selected a flan wedge and a chocolate cake slice, both of which could feed 2-3 people! The clerk asked if I wanted caramel sauce with the flan, to which I said, "What's a flan without caramel?" She used a restaurant-type condiment dispenser to squeeze out a rather thin consistency caramel onto the wedge, but, put a lot on it. By the time I got home, less than a half-hour later, the clear, corrugated, plastic, had "trapped" most of the caramel that had oozed off the flan, and, of which, the syrup had dried/seized to the point of being unusable (the plastic was too thin to safely microwave, so I couldn't get the caramel to liquefy that way). The flan was too eggy and dense for my taste, and not sweet enough, with, virtually, no vanilla flavor. The chocolate cake with white cream was too light/fragile, and there was not enough chocolate taste. The cost for both was about $13, incl tax, which, considering my disappointment in the taste, was not worth it. I might be back to sample their other goods, but, I won't be ordering the flan or chocolate cake, again. P.S. To the reviewer who said, "This place (i.e., Brentwood) is legit dangerous," I have travelled throughout Brentwood since the 60s, by foot, bicycle, car, and train, mostly by myself, and have never encountered anything that could be considered "dangerous." Shame on you for spreading social media stereotypes!

The minimal chocolate filling had sunken to the bottom and completely fused to the wrappers, and the muffins were very dry inside, not soft and fudgey like chocolate babka should be. Everything they have looks and sounds incredible, but the two muffins I got were very overpriced and not nearly good enough to be worth it. Additionally, the parking situation is a nightmare, with people parking in spots that don't exist in a lot that's already way too tight.
