Great pizza! The Primo is awesome. Bleu cheese crumbles and fig drizzle. Sounds unique and it is - but that's why it's so good! Those mates perfectly with the prosciutto ham.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a nice and unexpected lunch spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the outside, I thought this was a fancier, sit-down pizzeria with DeSano and Pieous type crust, but was surprised to see it's more like Blaze and Mod Pizza where you go through a line and the crust is thin and Mod Style.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not bad, just doesn't present like expected with the outside looking like an upscale Olive Garden and the inside being fast casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My Chicken Alfredo pizza was still great and I'll be back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What's not so great: small, enclosed space and super loud music and then about 30 kids from a private, religious school showed up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wonder if Firo knew they were coming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was so loud, it was ridiculous.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]And I know they need to make money, but all the loud kids were a lot for a mostly Boomer Sun City clientele eating salads to bear.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I saw a bunch of this Sun City-type clientele hurry up to leave.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Maybe that should be a private event.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

I've driven by Firo in Georgetown a number of times and finally visited! I ordered the Primo (no Gorgonzola, ever) and the Carne and liked the crust and the complimentary flavors. I was thinking it was a sit down restaurant with table service but you order at the counter. I'll be back.

Firo is solid. It's one of those "Subway" pizza places and the dough is fresher than others' I've tried. The toppings are also quite nice offering things like prosciutto and capers. They also have a little gelato stand that has 3 locally sourced flavors. You can call ahead and drive up to the pick-up widow which is convenient.

    Pepperoni and sausage pizza

Greasy and nasty. Haven't been here I a long time and remember why now. Barely put any pizza sauce, they tore up the sausage into such small pieces couldn't taste it at all. Put about 10 pieces of very small pepperoni. Came out so greasy and gross. We won't be back.

Whew. Let me tell you! When we first pulled up, I was weary of the quality and taste. They weary soon was burned away by the first taste of my BYO pizza! The lady working did a spectacular job on layering the items I wanted and didn't overindulge on any one item (which made the pizza perfectly weighted and not too soggy or saggy) like some places do. Secondly, after filling up and surprisingly have leftovers...wow I never have those (I was confused)...we walked over to the Gelato counter and I order their "small" biscotti gelato and my wife ordered raspberry gelato. Omg they were fulfilling even though we were already full lol! 20/10 would return again! I highly recommend Firi Fire Kissed Pizza to everyone!

This was a very difficult reviews because it involves the food and inappropriate staff…read more It did smell very inviting from the parking lot so wanted to give it a try. It's a local mom and pop establishment from looking from the outside, but was confirmed clearly it was from staff. Not sure where I want to begin. I'll start with the food. I got the lunch special. 1 slice, 3 knots and a drink. They were "short stocked" on drinks so only had 3 choices. Beverage was in a bottle and was not cold. I was told they had no ice either. I got the mushroom and spinach slice. The toppings and sauce were very good however the crust was black and burnt on the bottom so I just picked off the toppings. The same with the garlic knots too. You can see in the photo too. The marinara dipping sauce was cold and was told they do not do warm dipping sauce. I do believe if the pizza and the knots were not burnt, they would have been enjoyable. I am not sure if management reads this but your staff does like you very much. However, you might want to let them know discussing other employees and past employees love lives, jail records, arrest records, making fun of someone's disabilities is not ok in the workplace let alone with customers in the restaurant. I learned wayyyyy too much about the "person" that just got fired and their age and why they were arrested and closing up your restaurant an hour early. I felt extremely uncomfortable having to listen to this!

Could not believe how good it was! The crust was thin and crisp, and the oil dripping from the bottom. And was told by someone on staff that the water comes from NY, and the recipe has not changed since before the mayor of Hutto took over the business. As I drove home, I struggled to save a piece for my wife to try, but I succeeded. And she was also pleasantly surprised. However, given that she was just in NYC a few days ago, she said it's not as good as the one she tried out there, but if she hadn't tried a slice in NYC recently, she would've said that this one is very good and reminiscent of NYC pizza. This is the first time we come really close. Prior to Anthony's Pizza, we tried Russo's in StoneHill, but this one is much better. Will definitely go back for more, with the family, either to go or eat-in. My only complaint is the price for one simple cheese slice is $4.00 + tax. A legit NYC slice in New York is not selling for $4.00, probably $2.50, but $4.00 is over the top. But if the water truly comes from NY, maybe I could be reasonable. Staff was friendly and informative. The place looked neat and clean.

Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The brewery is clean, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the beer is excellent. It's one of my favorite places to sit for a while, enjoy a beer, get some work done, and then head home with a couple of pizzas for leftovers. The online ordering system is also incredibly convenient. I can place my order before I leave, see exactly when it will be ready, and time the drive perfectly. Everything is hot and ready when I arrive. There are good local pizza places much closer to where I live, but I still choose to drive about an hour to Obsidian Brewery because that's how good it is. One stop shopping for primo eating and drinking good times…read more * * * Obsidian Brewery makes beer. I have no idea how the beer is. I may visit Obsidian Brewery time after time after time after time and never find out how their beer is. This is because a) They have an outstanding bar and b) They have an outstanding kitchen. For me, beer is a hardship beverage you drink when there is nothing else better available. When I go to a bar, I can sometimes be looking for mix-mastering. Usually I am looking for outstanding top of the line hard spirits. * * * When I walked into Obsidian, I looked at their bar. It was love at first sight. In front of me were twenty yards of three shelves of the most wonderful bottles I could possibly imagine. Half of them I had never heard of before. * * * I settled on a Buddha's Hand Gin. Buddha and Gin rarely appear in the same sentence Never mind the same label on a bottle. I ordered it straight up. I went immediately to Nirvana. Forget the meditation and the austerities. The Buddha's Hand Gin was as good as a trip to the Himalayas. Buddha's Hand is an obscure citrus fruit that grows multiple protuberances the way some horseradishes do. It is golden and looks like a hand. Ergo the name. The Buddha's Hand Gin is a citrus tinged gin with an edge more like orange zest than like orange juice. The additional botanicals make it strong, attention grabbing, fruity and yet combative. I was absolutely fascinated. Note that Buddha's Hand Gin is only one of the many items they have to explore there. I am totally ready to do more exploring. * * * The kitchen at Obsidian is also of distinction. The savvy local guide I came with adored his Thai Curry Wood Fired Rings. I went with a Cheesy Bread. This is open-faced grilled cheese on a thick slice of bread the size of a shoebox, with a wonderful homemade tomato sauce on about 1/3 of it. It is the best cheese pizza you have ever had. It is what cheese pizza is supposed to be if you don't use the standard canned ingredients that institutional providers sell to Domino's. I was as in love with my cheese bread as I was with my citrus gin. * * * The company was also outstanding. Which is just as well because Obsidian is a social place. Lots of Leanderthals having a fine time in couples and groups. This is not a loner's loser bar. You know - the dark rooms with misfits drinking their sixth beer while watching TV. This is a good folks good times full-of-sunlight place. So you definitely want to come with good folks. * * * Good food, good bottles, good people. And if you are feeling chipper, You can even have a homemade beer to celebrate.
