The first gift store I've seen in an airport with a pop culture / quirky sensibility, with products from Kikkerland, Fred and Gama-Go! This is modern gift shop and I couldn't love it more. What a phenomenon compared to the otherwise touristy shops with the glitter water globes and LED flashing key chains of the city skyline. They had the garlic rocker I've been contemplating getting, I finally found a kitchen timer there that matched my retro clock, and I bought the Old Man Drinks book there with drink recipes for a friend thinking about opening a bar, among other things. I am a designer who spends a lot of time looking for clever, fun, personalized gifts for people, and this shop makes it very easy. Their website on the other hand is another story. When you're waiting in an airport for 3 hours, a place like this is unbelievable. Great for someone like me, who can browse and window shop for hours on end! Fireworks Gallery is the third location of a local store in Washington, transplanted by some corporate airline genius who had the brilliant idea to infuse some local flavor into the usually bland airport shop offerings. Fireworks is a store packed full of tchotchkes, home accessories, baby gear, and tons of beautiful and useful art! Where else are you going to find $70 Tord Boontje light fixtures in an airline terminal? I spent a good amount of time looking at their wares, drooling over almost every piece. If it hadn't been so close to Christmas, I would have bought MUCH more than just a card. Their products are displayed well and chosen thoughtfully - it's so hard to pick what to buy! This is a cute shop. I bought a piano keys belt there and I probably would have bought more things if I had more time, but I had to catch a flight. Pretty crowded store, especially when people are there, but you will definitely like the products there. Not a traditional gift shop either. Most gift shops have only clothing, hats, stuffed animals, etc. But this one has so many more quirky/cute things. I enjoyed the little bit of time I had in the shop. read more

If you're like me, when you travel you always plan to bring a little housewarming gift for your generous host or hostess, but somehow never find time to pick up something cute during all the pre-vacation rushing around. I've been to airports where this becomes a disaster -- I don't know who's buying those mugs and keychains that say "Seattle," but (happily) I don't have any friends who would enjoy that kind of crap. These days, when flying out of Seattle I don't even try to buy something ahead of time, I just leave myself time before the flight to browse Fireworks. They have so much adorable, totally unnecessary stuff - the kinds of things that you wouldn't buy for yourself, but you'd love to receive as a gift. Funny ice molds, cute cards, whimsical wallets, etc. They do also have lovely jewelry and other accessories if you need something a little more upscale. Personally I LOVE their charming children's section - I have 2 and 4-year-old nieces and nephews, and my purchases here were a big hit: adorable socks, a Fire Engine-shaped plate, fork and spoon set, and a book of 400 animal stickers which have proved insanely popular. (I also bought them a watch-it-grow dino egg and firefighter action figures in another mall store, so they were set.) Fireworks makes being a good guest easy! read more

It is terrible that I never make it to the regular shop, but seriously, this gift shop rocks it and then some. I am never bored here and it's got a great selection of eclectic gifts and something for everyone to be mesmerized for about an hour. I could probably spend a couple hundred in this store easily. Was delayed coming home from a quick day business trip to Seattle on 6/25/13 and had some time to kill. Luckily, Sea-Tac has a wide variety of shops to browse, Fireworks being one of them. What a fun store! I bought a few unique trinkets here and spent almost an hour browsing their eccentric collection. The Buyer for this store has a keen eye for interesting and appealing finds. Besides books and silly magnets, they also carry baby and kid gifts, jewelry, housewares, tote bags, it's a total hodge podge. It can get a bit congested at the register since there are only two, and not much room to form a line, but the cashiers were quick and friendly. What a fun store! Saw a woman wearing an X shaped ring at the Mariners game and since I didn't have time to shop this little gem of a store is perfect. I found a beautiful sterling silver ring! Want to buy almost everything in this store. Lots of things to look at, gift ideas and trinkets you probably don't need but want to buy anyway. Whenever I'm in Seattle I try to stop by (depending on my flight schedule). I've never had an issue with the employees or with my cards like a lot of other people have had and hopefully never will. I leave my 10 year old outside of the store (with my spouse) because there's hilarious but probably inappropriate things scattered around that I don't want to explain. Lots of drinking accessories, great gifts for young adults (21+). It's a must stop in kind of store for me. read more

A gift boutique with a strong political view. Usually take a lap through the store on my lay overs and have picked up a few nicknacks as gifts over the years. Went through today on the hunt for a birthday gift. The store has an entire display full of strongly opinionated political satirical gifts including toilet paper with political figures printed on the sheets and opinionated children's books written on politics. Checked for items for sale that may support the opposite views. None where found. They have a right to an opinion and I will respectfully exclude fireworks from my wanderings on my frequent stops through Seattle. read more

Not only did they resolve an issue with some body cream that I had purchased, they bent over backwards to make it right and convenient for me to exchange it. My husband and I stumbled into this store during our wait for takeoff at the Sea-Tac Airport. Once I stepped foot in the shop, I knew we were in trouble. This adorable shop is full of cute, unique, quirky, beautiful things. We purchased foam leaf coasters, a cookbook for couples, a camera charm necklace, headband and the funkiest socks I have yet to add to my sock collection. We spent a good amount of time in here and kept putting things back as we discovered new little trinkets we just had to bring home. They have an adorable baby section, Seattle hand towels, wall organizers, books, jewelry from local designers, and much much more. I never under any circumstances would ever recommend airport shopping, but this store is very, very entertaining. They have everything you DON'T need, yet seem to always be packed with shoppers. Thank goodness for Fireworks in the airport! This store was a lifesaver on Mother's Day. I was able to purchase a gift for my mom, b'day gift for my aunt, and small gifts for my aunts while waiting for my flight early on Sunday morning. This is not your typical airport store with "My mom went to Seattle and all I got was this _____" gifts, snowglobes, or only in WA items. This is a snazzy gift shop with yummy smelling Pacifica candles, fun funky jewelry, kids items such as books titled "The Gas We Pass" , wallets, and tons of other things I wanted to buy. Whoever the buyer is for this store really knows what they are doing. The next time I am in Seattle, I will visit one of their stores in town, or head to the airport early just to shop. read more

Great inventory, less than great layout, even less great employees. I have been in this store 5x in the last year- 2 times since 12/16/16. It's tricky to navigate the store due to the size (which I get- in an airport) but add customers who have baggage& multiple carry-items (did I mention this location is at the AIRPORT?!) and then employees who seem oblivious to the concept of politeness and personal space ( you want ME to move so you can clean but heaven forbid anyone is available to enthusiastically show me something in the jewelry cases). I have spent over $300 in my first few visits, and over $130 the other night. Today (12/20/16 at approximately 2 pm), both my niece and I were bumped and jostled by employees and could see other patrons also annoyed by the less than helpful staff... I was set to finish up some Xmas shopping but after observing a female staff member speak rudely to my 12 year-old niece ( "EXCUSE ME" in a loud voice) and then what appeared to be intentionally bumping into her, I left. My niece stayed to purchase her items but she was shocked to be treated that way by adults (and yet commented on the politeness of other customers who saw how she was treated). I doubt I would ever shop in any of the locations based on my experiences but I am guessing the owners and managers do not care about maintaining regular customers. Bye FELICIA... read more

I am going to preface this with the fact that I am neither Republican or Democrat. In fact, I don't believe in the party system all together, but that's a story for another time. I visited this place yesterday, as I usually do when I have time to spare at the airport, and enjoyed seeing all of the fun and interesting items they had to offer. That was until I came across their anti Trump wall of goods. I'm a pretty lighthearted person who enjoys a good joke, but this just wasn't funny. They had a President Trump voodoo doll with "pins included." Encouraging physical harm against another human being is not okay, no matter how much you disagree with him. It was a disturbing product to carry and I have no doubt that if it was an Obama or Hillary doll, Seattleites would be protesting to have this shop closed down...probably even shouting about the cultural appropriation of those who practice Voodoo. Regardless, I really wanted this pretty necklace I found there, but I was so disgusted that I just couldn't rationalize giving them my money. Super cute gift shop conveniently located in the airport. It's perfect for when you remember someone you forgot to buy a souvenir for. Their prices are reasonable and they offer a wide selection of stuff--from nice jewelry to kids' clothes to the obligatory knick-knacks you expect to find in an airport gift shop (Panic button keyboard keys, anyone?). It's kind of crowded and cramped, so it's not the best place to enter with your roll-around suitcase. Have a friend wait outside at the food court if you're overladen with baggage. read more

Yes, they have some neat stuff... That being said, they have terrible customer service. Went in to get pencils, a sharpener and a notebook. Spent a good 10min trying to sharpen the pencil ( it didn't work at the end) , because I was still at the airport, I went in to exchange the Sharpener, they tested another sample of the same sharpener and it still didn't work. They suggested I buy one of their more expensive sharpeners, which worked slightly better. We are exchanging the items and the cashier goes: oh btw that is going to be five more dollars.... Are you kidding??? Your sharpener doesn't work so I have to get the most expensive one?.... Left the store without exchanging anything, very poor experience. read more

However, I called the store manager Sherey, and she not only hunted down the only other pair but is mailing me my replacement to my home in Anchorage Alaska. Truly amazing customer service. I always loved this store, and especially this location (I am a Flight Attendant, and spend quite a lot of time inside Seatac airport). Today, I was specifically looking for a cross-body handbag for my girlfriend's birthday. After going around the entire store to find it without success, I showed Sahir a picture of it on my phone to know if he had seen it before. Right away, he looked it up on his computer and asked me to wait for a moment.... He then returned from the back with a brand new bag still wrapped in plastic! I always spend an inordinate amount of money at this store and it has become a go-to every time I find myself at the Seattle Airport. I know it's chain store and there are a few around town, but I love to visit this one at the airport. It appears they have expanded their space some since my last visit and they never fail to stock my favorite items. I always find myself spending more time and money than I should. I fyou find yourself here, give yourself some time- there is a lot to see... and yes it can be all a bit overwhelming.... I find myself buying things that I never ever thought I would want or need. I have purchased also a lot of jewelry from this place, their jewelry selection is fantastic and I love that they stock jewelry from local artisans. It's such a great gift store - and they just have a ton of fantastic stuff, a fabulous mix of quirky and cute ... I can't get enough.
