I never received it, I have wasted so much time chasing customer service, the area manager, everyone I could to get this rectified. I found out from them that they put my truck down as a 2023 and the had the incorrect mileage marked down that would be past the service interval. I cannot reach the store directly because 1.) apparently they do not have a phone and 2.) They have no store manager as the last one was fired surprisingly enough. All this time wasted just to get a correct copy of the work done on my truck. Absolutely ridiculous. Edit: I received a call from the interim shop manager and was told to try and drive around my hometown of Houston to different Take 5 locations to see if they could fix my issue. None of which have a shared database to pull the information from the Weslaco shop. This is becoming more of a fiasco with each person I speak to.

I hate to say it, but I had a pretty bad experience trying to get my car fixed here. I don't know a…read morewhole lot about cars and was going to give the place a break, but the problems keep coming and no one has tried to make it better. I called and described the problem- the AC was no longer blowing cold air. They told me to bring it in and when I did, they spent about 5+ hours looking at it only to tell me that they couldn't pinpoint the problem and I would have to take it somewhere else to get the electrical stuff looked at. The diagnostic at pep boys was $150. After taking it to the recommended shop, I took it back to pep boys because the other shop told me it was the compressor. The representative at pep boys told me they would get the part in within a day or two, but it was more than a week before they had it. Twice I went into the repair section of the shop and there was either no one in the front to help me, or everyone was taking phone calls and not addressing the line. Both times I waited about 10 minutes before anyone offered to help me. It seemed like they were understaffed; I wish now that I had asked to speak with a manager. The most irritating thing was that they wouldn't work with my schedule- the polite representative that had been working with me this whole time wanted me to bring my car in on a day when he and one specific mechanic were both working. Not only did it have to be after 12 PM- neither of my days off (Tuesday or Friday) worked for both of them. Overall I missed about 6 days of work and I have been driving around in the summer heat with no AC for 4+ weeks. We've put about $900 into fixing this issue, and this is my family's only car so I've paid plenty of taxi cab charges as well. Pep boys replaced the compressor and a fan, and my AC still doesn't work, so I have to take it to another shop for electrical work. With all of the delays and beating around the bush, it's been an infuriating process and pep boys has failed to meet my expectations.

They also check all my lights (Turn signals, front lights, and break lights) to be sure none have burned out, and alert me if I need to get them replaced. Recently, during an oil change, they noticed what appeared to be an oil leak and shared a picture with me of the under carriage of my car. They do not perform oil leak repairs, but suggested an auto repair shop to go to. I visited the auto repair, they carefully performed diagnostics and did the work needed once I agreed to their quote. Thank you Oil Changers, You Rock, and have a customer for life!!
