This store simply employs some good & honest people. I previously went to Sears Auto for an oil change and they said I needed brakes immediately. I had some free time and went to Midas. They did their free visual brake check advising my brakes still had 3-4 years life to my brakes. They could have easily said I needed get them replaced asap citing with Sears, just to make a sale. The Midas service guys were honest people even showing me the actual parts to my own vehicle. They have won a new customer. I talked to Joe & Edgar here at Midas. read more

I've been using Midas for years. I don't believe I will be anymore as I've been disappointed too many times now. My car needed repairs so I took it there last year and the main issue didn't get fixed until the 3rd time I had to return it. This year more issues with my car. Took it there, explained issue, got a estimate. It was expensive so I had to wait a month before I could take it in to get done. Finally got it there and next day was told it was ready, paid, got in, same problem, still remains, less in my bank account. I have no idea what they even did that cost so much. My car is exactly the same. I don't think I'll ever go back there again. This kind of thing happened too many times. And way too costly! I'd love to refer others to this place but I'd be lying read more

Incompetent comes to mind with these people. Take your vehicle somewhere else Had my truck there for weeks and they kept replacing different things to fix problem. Friend of mine suggested checking booster and we told them but they waited another week before they did and on top of all that they have a young mechanic that told them that's what he thought it might be since he just finished fixing one with same problem and still they wouldn't listen. I have no faith in this place and forever will be staying away from Midas anywhere. They need to take the word experts off any of their advertisements read more

I'm from Aurora, Il, drove to Harligen to see family, you can imagine my surprise when I found out, my air wasn't working, brakes went bad and I got a speeding ticket in Arkansas, but that's another issue. Took it to Midas, the place mustt be good because it is a bee hive of acivity, Joe the manager is awesome communicated what neeeded to be done with the air since there was a leak that needed to be fixed and they are working on the brakes now. Another person came in with what they thought was a problem but Joe's team looked at it, there was not a problem so they didn't charge her for looking at it and sent away one happy camper. read more

Great service! However, I knew the problem with my truck before bringing it in (alternator), the part online was around $90.00. I could definitely fix issue 2h max, but because out of town guest and I do not have my tools, I was stuck! Regardless, it cost me over $750 for a battery and an alternator. I am great-full I can leave the valley and make it to work Monday, but definitely cost me more than it should have. Again, I can't say anything negative about the service/quality, but the price was definitely off in this situation. read more

I had great experience at Midas. Joe the manager was helpful, nice, thorough and knowledgeable. I took my car to get an alignment. He made sure I understood what was done to my car; he showed me what it looked like before and after. In addition, he also noticed my car was still having problems; he checked each tire individually and again took the time to show us what was needed. Truly impressed with the service! read more

I drive all over the country and rely on my truck heavily. The suspension started making noise and Midas was able to get me in within the hour, even on a busy Saturday. The technician showed me everything and walked me through all the probable causes of the noise. He suggested that no repairs were actually needed be done. They checked my tire pressure, topped off my fluids and handed my keys back free of charge. They were extremely honest and if I lived in the area they would absolutely be my mechanic of choice. read more

I took my car into Midas trying to get my oil changed and my car battery looked at. Everything was smooth until I had to pick it up. They called to confirm I was getting the conventional oil changed and I confirmed. But when I picked the car up he went ahead and told me they chose the synthetic oil changed. I told him but that's not the one I confirmed over the phone. They made me pay for the one I didn't even want in the first place. Then I asked if they checked my battery they said "oh yea I checked nothings wrong." He went on about saying how my breaks needed to be changed out and I was confused cause I had just gotten them fixed a couple weeks prior. I went ahead and told no I don't believe I need them changed but he insisted. But I still said No. The next morning i woke up and the car couldn't start bc the battery was still messed up so they didn't check it. I took it into ford which changed the battery and i was curious so I asked them was there anything wrong with my breaks and they said no they were fine 9/10. So now I know they charged me for oil I didn't want and they were trying to make me get new breaks that my car definitely did not need. Don't waste your time here. They will lie to get more money out of you! read more
