technicians do good work. however customer service is lacking. the guy at the front counter can be rude and a bit condescending. leads me to think he doesn't like his job and should consider a different industry because his customer service skills just aren't there. if you are a person who doesn't quite understand your vehicle and maintenance of it do not go to the brownsville location. he was very unhelpful, i called to politely let him know my experience at the location was unsatisfactory and he told me i was wrong and he was not rude. customers nearby also agreed he was not very friendly or helpful. checked reviews and this is not the first time he has gotten a complaint about his job performance. read more

Service is classic. The store manager is about customer loyalty and not trying to make a sale. My issue was preexisting. He has been working with me despite my financial challenges. He quoted a price and kept to his word. There are hardly any companies that will stick to their word. This store does and performs work like true professionals. Once again Lauro to the rescue. A metal object pierced my tire and I went in to get my tire fixed. In no time, my tire was fixed. This isn't the only time that Lauro and his staff have gone out of their way to help me. Once, I had my vehicle overheat and Lauro and a service tech went out to rescue me and helped me get my vehicle in to get fixed. Another time, I was getting my truck serviced but needed a ride back to pick it up since I had a doctor's appointment. Lauro was quick to offer to pick me up. Carlos and Ruben are also very helpful. Excellent experience. Relatively new to Brownsville, so previous reviews are why I went to this business for service to our GMC truck. They were very upfront about what I should have done, based on my vehicle's mileage and explained costs. When vehicle service was complete, they also advised me of what items they noticed that would need attention soon. I do not recommend this particular store, I called to make an appointment for a tire rotation and an alignment and was told they did not need an appointment as long as I could be there before 3 PM they would help. I went today right before 1 PM and was told by a gentleman at the counter named Ruben that they could not help me today they had too many customers. He recommended I come in tomorrow morning at eight in the morning but I am taking a trip tomorrow and needed this done today. The counter person was rude and unhelpful it seemed he did not want to be bothered and basically refused to provide any type of service. Needed tires for my Jeep Wrangler... visited a few places in Brownsville... Goodyear out did everyone in not only pricing but the service was phenomenal. From the Store manager down to the young man who installed my new tires the service cannot be outdone. So I realized that my registration was going to expire in the next two weeks. I felt I had to get it taken care of. It was a late Saturday afternoon when I realized this and before I can get the registration I need to get the car inspected. So I went down there around 4 and there were a lot of people. I was realized I didn't have my insurance card. I went back to the house to pick it up and that gave me about 10 minutes to get back. I made it with 5 minutes to spare but there was a problem with the person in front of me and their debit card. They finally got to my car but it was after the time the inspector was supposed to check out. The inspector stayed and finished my inspection and another person behind me WELL AFTER HIS SHIFT WAS OVER. It meant a lot that the inspector went ahead and did that for me. I had had a lousy week and doing this for me made me feel a LITTLE better. I still hate my crummy experience because it is going to affect me for a long time but to get that done did help. The team at this establishment will do anything to make sure you get what you need. I am so grateful to this team. I don't have any photos but you owe it to yourself to visit them for all of your automobile needs. They have your back no matter how new or old your vehicle is! read more
