My 19 year old son had just left his class at utrgv and was on his way to his part time job. Upon traveling through downtown his tire ruptured, while he was stopped at a red light. A police offer saw what happened and came to assist my son, the officer who was trying to help contacted Tony's body shop and wrecker. Upon arrival of the wrecker, my son explained that he lives 6 blocks away and the driver from Tony's wrecker told him he would charge him $350.00. My son informed him that he did not have that amount of money and wanted to contact a different wrecker company and was informed by the driver of Tony's wrecker that he did not have a choice, either he paid the $350.00 or he would impound the car. My son contacted his grandparents to ask for help in obtaining these funds. The driver from Tony's wrecker saw how he was struggling to obtain the funds and all he kept on saying was "you need to make a decision now at this moment" my son felt pressured and informed the driver of Tony's wrecker he was able to obtain only $280.00, the driver of Tony's wrecker took the $280.00 in a heartbeat and failed to given him a receipt. It is really sad to see how this company,Tony's wreckers, does not care about the customer, they only care about taking the customers money. Upon learning this I called Tony's wrecker and spoke with one of the drivers, I asked him how much they charged to tow a car, and he said as long as it is inside Brownsville city limits it will be $45.00. What a difference. If you choose to use this company be careful, if they see that they can take advantage of you, they will.

Completely unprofessional . I took in my car to fix a quarter size chip and made a mess of my car…read more They said it would be done in 2 days and it took a week. When I got the car , they left it worse with two air bubbles on separate spots so I requested for them to fix. After another week, they left it even WORSE with chips along the edging of the hood air bubbles still there and the car was COMPLETELY over sprayed . I warn anyone who needs body work to please look elsewhere. I eventually took it to Cruz Body shop and they notified me that they used the cheapest bondo ( there was no need to use bondo ) and that it was a complete mess that needed to be stripped. Cruz' did an excellent job fixing Prestiges mess.

Gabriel was fast, adorable, professional and knowledgeable…read more Our A/C broke on our way back to Austin, we stopped at Gabriel Auto Technician and in less than 1 min he was already inspecting our car. In about 10 minutes we were on our way. He needed more time to fix our A/C, bit he made a quick fix to last us until home. We would definitely will recommend him.
