I let them know, I was not able to pick them up it up right away, as I was scheduled to work during the week. Management were easy to deal with, and very professional. It was replaced, but I had to HELP the technician with installing the battery retainer plate CORRECTLY! It got done. Today, October 1, 2019 I returned because the BOSCH battery failed. After I got my car, I checked under the hood and the positive terminal was not attached correctly. It had to be lowered in order for the fuse box/cover to fit properly. THEN it was when I noticed the battery installed was a CHAMPION battery! I did NOT pay for a CHAMPION battery! The service advisor NEVER asked me if I would accept a different battery and he DID NOT tell me a different brand battery had been installed! CAN'T anyone do a job CORRECTLY nowadays?! I brought this up to the service advisor and AFTER I asked why a CHAMPION battery was installed, he told me he did not have a BOSCH battery in stock and that he would order one. COME ON, MAN!!! Their parts department is good, though.

It took Payne Chevrolet 5 days to figure it out and also say that the battery was under voltage. They also said it was covered under the extended warranty I paid for this is a 2022 Chevrolet Malibu. Yesterday I was told they won't cover the battery because its over 30000 miles. They also said that GM said to re-flash the transmission management module and drive it 1000 miles if it happens again bring it back. Today I get a call from the sales department asking if I wanted to trade it in. I was dude I just bought it 3 months ago. So I told him what I wanted. He calls back saying that they can't make a deal and that the shuddering according to GM it is normal. My ass its normal. # Payne Chevrolet sucks

My vehicle was 15yrs and 3 months old. So this is my opinion they had my vehicle and never looked at it. With no intention of working on it. So I pick it up. As I am leaving the service department the problem occurred in the parking lot. Yup they could not recreate the problem but I can. As the only owner of this vehicle Chevrolet has been the only place that has worked on it. For all the maintenance. Therefore I had full trust that I could count on the service. Boy was I wrong and played as a not important or valued customer. No I would not recommend this business for sales or service. This also will be possibly be the last Chevrolet that I will own.
