Once the parts were put on there was no returning them and their test equipment showed nothing wrong with the vehicle. A friend told me about City Auto Care. Adan spent an afternoon working on the brake fluid leak, which the dealer couldn't find. The very next day he and his staff corrected the issue without any new parts. Hasn't leaked since. I later took the vehicle in for overheating. He replaced a fan assembly and repaired a hairline crack in the steel tubing at a small fraction of what the dealer wanted to charge. Doesn't overheat anymore and produces really cold air. It is great to know that there are still true auto mechanics around who can do more than just what a machine tells them. Who know how an automobile functions. This is an honest and true auto repair service. Very reasonable in prices, work for your satisfaction, and are very accommodating. I bought the car from that owner and discovered that there were other issues, which Jesses Muffler resolved for me quickly. They were very fast, diagnosed and fixed the issue same day. The car had been sitting there a few months and the previous owner had just abandoned it. I now have a good car that is running good. They need to be more attentive to the cleanliness of their waiting room, this will leave a bad impression on the customer. The glass bottle I set on the water cooler was still sitting there a week later with a discarded can.

Also needed oil change. 1st visit: original complaint above and their recommendations were: Alignment $89.99; Brake fluid flush $76.90; Radiator plus hoses $406.49; engine air filter $32.96; cabin filter $43.94; valve cover & gasket $98.87; rear brake pads $85; resurface rear rotors $59; PCV valve $32.96 total after labor, taxes & hazmat $1761.71 and the thing still wobbles. 2nd visit for same problem: Front brakes $85; resurface front rotors $59; total after labor, taxes, & hazmat $250.88 ***Come to find out, they only test drove it on the street, & NOT on the highway like I stated in the original problem*** 3rd visit for same problem: NOW they test drive with me in the car, and see what I'm talking about. Now they tell me that ALL the rims are bent. Quote me $772.96 for new rims. Not doing it. I have been completely and utterly robbed of my ability to choose repairs needed for my situation. Family has 2 vehicles. I drive my son to & from school 13 miles one way everyday. Because they did not listen to me & test the car on the highway originally, I am going to have $200 more in gas costs a month since I will have to drive my truck & not the car. The auto shop specializes in foreign vehicles, but they fix any vehicle, foreign or not. Insurance is accepted and mine (GEICO) has always authorized all claims that I've brought in. Favian will tell me what needs fixing and what can wait a little bit longer if needed. This last visit, I brought my wife's Mini Cooper. The total always 306 dollars. Insurance covered 56 dollars and we paid our deductible straight to Favian. He explained to me what the problem was, the parts that were damaged, and what would happen if I didn't fix it. Afterwards, he gave me an ETA for how long the vehicle would take to get fixed. He had it ready the next day by the afternoon. He isn't the only mechanic available, but they are all nice and friendly.

The next day he sent a mechanic (Arturo, who said he has worked for Martinez Auto for 23 years) who checked it out and determined it was a weak battery. He said he would take it to his shop and check the battery and bring it back in an hour. About an hour later, Israel called and said the battery was shot and that he replaced it and gave me a very reasonable price and surprisingly little labor.
