This Firestone is awesome. They were completely professional even though I was admittedly a cranky customer. The petite blonde female working in the front was incredibly sweet. Joel caught a subtle tire issue on my 370Z with the staggered tire sizes. A wrong sized staggered tire was replaced on a rear rim. This size error caused my rear differential to slip, kicking out the tail end of my car with fast acceleration or wet roads, and setting off my traction control system warning light that'd stay on until the car was powered off. I had no clue what was going on, but it all makes sense now. As soon as I got to the store my car was taken in to be fixed within 10 minutes and ready to go 30-45 minutes tops despite a full lobby. My traction warning light immediately stopped going off and my acceleration is on point now. Thanks guys! read more

Got tires from firestone because for years they have offered great service, and took care of any problems with your tires. Firestone clearly does not care about service any more. I have tried in 3 times now to try to get a tire patched and every time they have been booked out for the day hours in advance. Today I went in at 2:30, they said they couldn't get to it today. They close at 7 and have like 7 or 8 vehicles in the front. Yesterday I called at at 3. Same thing. Can't do it today. A few days before got there at 4. Same thing. Can't do it today. I've driven now several times the 25 mile drive to this location with a donut on my car because I expected to be able to get it patched if I came in the middle of the day. To top it all off because of their shortage of staff, they are refusing to take appointments. Every time it has been they don't have enough techs. This is BS. Either hire techs that aren't idiots and take forever to do jobs or hire more techs to make up for the incompetence. I paid extra for the road hazard warranty and service when I bought the tires. I bought this with the expectation that I would be able to use it, and with the expectation that the service level would be at least somewhat similar as when I bought it. At this point Firestone is refusing to provide the service they sold me by refusing to properly staff the store. read more

Called 2 times last week to make sure they could perform a State Inspection on a vehicle on Sunday. Was told both times "absolutely". My daughter drove in from out of state, we were at Firestone early in the morning and "they don't do inspections on Sunday". However they did suggest I buy tires and have an alignment. The tires on the vehicle have less than 10,000 miles on them and the vehicle was aligned less than 90 days ago. Con artists. Go somewhere else. read more

Made an appointment for 8am to get a brake inspection done because my car needed brake pads. Waited 2 hours because they were short staffed when I finally asked about my car status. Because of a lack of communication my car never got inspected while people came and went those first two hours. Finally they get it inspected. Told me would take less than an hour since they have everything ready. I am on my 4th hour. Going on my 5th soon. Nothing. Absolutely no update. The workers are friendly but the lack of service and communication about my vehicle is ridiculous. They are prioritizing the wrong cars out of order. Decision making skills in the shop are horrible. This is the worst place I've been to. Regardless of the pandemic this is just bad. I will never come here again and i suggest no one else come here either. I do not recommend this place. Unless you like wasting your precious time. Update: waited 6hrs total. Severely disappointed and angry with the lack of management at this location. If I could give a zero star I would. read more

This would be my last time going to. This Firestone, first time I went for a change of oil, and then I ended paying 125 dollar for rotation too. And they said I had to change breaks and needed a set of tires too, the quote was for 760 or 780 dollars. I paid for just 125 dollars and I went to another place. The brakes never needed to be change, just liquid something like that and the set of tires, was 310 dollars. Today I went for an oil change and rotation, and they call me saying that I had nails on two tires and were low. I didn't had any problem with having flat tire not even show on the car. And then when I went to pick up my car, left it with 126889 miles, got home from Firestone is about 9.5 miles. My car shows 126909. Where this people went for 10 miles using my car:(((. I called and complaint and I have pictures to prove, they told me to send them by the same email they had sent me the receipt. That email says do not reply. What can I do??? I have been a loyal Firestone customer for 15 yrs, I took my car to the tyler Firestone a year ago August 11 2021 to replace a faulty radiator fan and paid close to $900 to put a brand new one, on September 20 2022 my car over heated, the fan they installed stop working, I called to explain to them that the fan they put isn't working, their response, it's not under warranty anymore. Are kidding me, they used a cheap off the market fan for an Infiniti, it's not about the money, it's the integrity of the business. Not even a month over the warranty they made no effort to remedy the situation. Not all Firestone are like this, but tyler Firestone ruined the Firestone brand for me. Thank you for the lack of integrity. The lady at the front desk said on the phone, we are a corporation we can't do anything. Good to know. If I could give Firestone negative stars I would. I brought my car in for an AC repair and gave them specific things that needed replacement. When I brought my car in the only thing that was wrong was that it was blowing warm air instead of hot. Two weeks later I got my car back and they had charged me 1,500 to replace the Hvac door actuator. When I got my car back not only did the AC not turn on at all now, but my Radio was also broken. I called back and Firestone claimed they fixed what they needed to and that I can pay them to actually fix it, but they also lied about breaking my stereo. Their manager Tim finally told the truth when I called and asked him. I payed another place to get my AC to the point that it blows again and now my AC only blows out of the defrost, a problem that is directly correlated to the HVAC door actuator, the part Firestone replaced without needing replacement. I have been in contact with customer service and they have been zero help at all. do not trust Firestone ever with your car! read more

A couple of weeks ago I called for a wheel alignment appointment and on my way to the appointment Firestone called and stated the appointment was pushed out 6 hours. Saturday I returned and setup another appointment and explained the past experience to the service rep. Arrived 15 minutes early and was told I was next in line and the work would be finished in 1-1/2 hours. I returned 1-1/2 hours later and my vehicle was still in the parking lot. We came in on a Saturday afternoon, having driven an hour for a birthday date, when we discovered some pretty bad tire issues. The staff at Firestone were so gracious. They got right to work on our vehicle, drove us to the movies so we didn't have to miss our date, picked us up, helped us figure out the financial side of things. Thank you to Firestone for getting us back on the road, safely, and helping us still enjoy our date. Y'all are the best. read more

Complete and utter trash of a service. This is the second time I've given them explicit instructions on what to do. I took a 4 runner for 4 new tires and specifically stated I wanted the best old tire placed on the spare and a new hubcap placed on which I provided. They called during a dinner and said the car was ready. We rushed out of dinner and came to get the car and the service wasn't done. They didnt touch the spare. And didn't put the hubcap on. So they then put my car at the bottom of the list and made us wait another 45 min to take our car. Follow instructions. Do what people ask you to do. Or don't take their money. Absolute garbage. This is the second time we've had a issue using Firestone. NEVER. AGAIN. read more

This low rating is because they quoted a repair for my car at $2000.00 to replace a fuel pump. The quote was fuel pump $500 labor $300. I would have paid that but then they said they needed $800 for a connector with $500 labor. I googled that. The connector is used on outboard motors for boats, it cost new $50. We towed the car to Honda had the fuel pump fixed. Honda part $300, labor $200. The dealership was cheaper $1500.00 cheaper. read more

I ordered two tires from TireRack.com and they were delivered on schedule to the Firestone Complete Auto Care store in Tyler, Tx. "Nice Job" to TireRack.com! My experience at Firestone, however, was very poor. I made an appointment two days ahead to have the two tires installed. After arriving, it was over an hour before they took my car into the shop. After another hour or so, they had installed the tires, settled my bill and gave me the keys. Before driving away, I checked to make sure the tires had been installed correctly. Goodyear Eagle EMT Supercar tires are designed and manufactured to rotate in one direction ONLY and each side is clearly marked. One side reads "Side Facing Inward" and the other reads "Side Facing Outward". Firestone had installed the tires to rotate in the wrong direction. I voiced my concern to the person at the service counter, and after looking at the tires, he agreed that they had been installed incorrectly. They took the car back into the shop and I waited again... It took another hour plus for them to dismount and remount the tires in the proper orientation. As I was leaving, the dashboard tire pressure monitoring system gave a warning that the right front tire had high air pressure. The right tire was inflated to 42 psi and the left was at 38 psi. The cold inflation specification is 30 psi. In summary, it took Firestone 3 hours and 45 minutes to install two tires and that was WITH AN APPOINTMENT and the quality of the work was very poor. The Service Counter staff were very polite but this does not offset the very long wait and poor workmanship. I would NOT recommend this installer!!! read more
