Service is always great and they don't try to sell you something you don't need. I appreciate that! They stand behind their tire and service warranties and these days that means something. Totally recommend. read more

Discount Tire - Wheel & Rim Repair Near Me - Tyler, Texas

I've gone to Discount Tire on the Loop now, for years. They have the most amazing customer service - always friendly and professional in a tough job. Whether I'm having tires rotated, a flat fixed, or buying a new set, they are courteous, helpful, and genuine. I wouldn't go anywhere else just because of their service. I trust them completely to look out for my best interests because they always have. Recommend them without reservation. read more

Discount Tire has historically been good at customer service. But having an appointment means nothing, and you can still wait 2-3 hours for completion. But what really made me upset was it took me 2 days to get a set of tires situation worked out. I went in to buy specifically a set of BF Goodrich All-terrain KO3s for my pickup, mainly because i liked their looks and the raised white lettering. They would be almost $1,900 complete. They put the tires on and just down the road i noticed my truck violently shaking at about 65 mph. So i went back up there and told them that they needed to be re-balanced. So they did and i drove down the road again and it did the same thing. I went back up there the next day and told their Mgr about the problem, and he said they have been having problems with this tire and brand. I asked him why didn't he tell me that before i spent 2 days messing with this situation. So i bought Nitto and all great, but spent 2 days of my time and $1,900 to figure it all out. So BFGs are no longer any good, and ask specifically about certain tires and do your homework ahead of time on tire brands read more

I have been to many Discount Tire locations throughout central and now northeast Texas over the last 20 years. Many tire purchases and installs. Today, got new tires and an alignment due to somewhat unexpected circumstances but imperative to get fixed up immediately and back on the road. Bought tires online last night with no appointment. Showed up at open. Finished everything by 9:15a and couldn't be more pleased. Staff really checked all the boxes: friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and good at what they do. Extremely pleased and I will definitely be returning to this location and highly recommend it to others! read more

Great experience! Reviewed tires on line then came in and discussed with staff to confirm my preferences. Ordered and waited for tires to be installed, I was actually able to watch the installation from inside the waiting area. Staff was super polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. Got a great price on my tires that included lifetime hazard warranty, repair, and rotation, and I really love the tires!! Could not ask for a better experience! read more

I was amazed at how great my experience was at this tire store. I went in around 8 am this morning and was out with two new tires, new windshield wipers and all by 8:30. Matt was top notch in taking me through the process. I'll definitely give them my business every time. read more

Tyler at Discount Tire was incredibly kind during our visit. He went above and beyond to assist us, even on a busy day.

Here at my favorite tire chain, Discount Tire. Had an 11:30am appt that was quick and easy to setup online. Tire rotation and slow leak repair. Love that this location is at the outdoor mall, lots to do while you wait! Discount tire has a communication system as well with text messages to alert you on the progress of your service. Was in and out in 40 minutes ... the first time. Unfortunately had to come back because once I got up on Hwy 49 with some highway speed my steering wheel started bouncing back and forth. Called the store back up and returned immediately. They believe the tire is t balanced properly. Have asked them to check all 4 tires balance as misbalanced tires will wear out sooner, not to mention vehicle control. Also asked them again to set all 4 tires to 38 psi ... they failed to do that the first time as well, they were all over the place from 35-42. Let's now see how much longer I will be here for this appt I made to be done in 40 minutes. Ugh. All done now and they totally took care of everything! Still a great tire place. read more

I came to discount tires because of course. My tires were in need of replacement. Upon arrival. I was greeted by a fellow employee whom offered assistance to me right away. Came to my vehicle. Got my info for tire size and we went into the facility where he quoted me some descent tire prices. After looking at a few options. I chose the Arizonia tires. Set of 4 tires with 55k prorated warranty, maintenance warranty and road hazard replacement all came to $600. There was a cheaper option but this package seem to fit best. After that they brought my vehicle Into the bay and believe it or not. They completed mounting all 4 tires in under 30 min. Mind you. It was a Saturday at around 9am. I was very pleased with my visit to this location. I will continue to come to this place in the future. Thank you Discount Tire employees for your professional and fast services. read more

While driving cross country with a car loaded down with stuff including about 40 pictures in the back end of the car wrapped in clothes for protection. We had a tire light come on outside Tyler Texas and limped into the discount tire there at 453pm on a Saturday (they closed at 5pm) They checked it out and the wheel was cracked. They offered and helped unload the whole back end to get out spare and replaced it. Then they got old tire/wheel in back end and helped pack all our stuff back around it. They had us back on the road by 5:20pm. No one grumbled because it was after hours or even blinked an eye at all the crap we had to unpack and repack - they gladly helped. What a great testament to the excellent customer service Discount Tire offers ! I wouldn't go anywhere else if I needed tires, wheels or rims. BTW, the manager that helped us was Bryce Matthews. read more

I was met in the parking lot upon driving up to discount Tire in Tyler. I was greeted professionally and kindly. I picked out the perfect tire for my sons vehicle and placed my order as the tires were not in stock. A few hours later I was called and they let me know the tires had arrived. Once I got back to discount tire there was no wait for the tires to be put on and it took maybe 20 minutes at the most for me to get in and out of there I was completely impressed everyone was very professional and wore masks also. Thank you discount tire Tyler Texas! read more

Made a mistake of buying 4 new tires a year and half ago from this location. My last visit I was told my tires have road force and aren't under warranty paid $280+ tax for coverage for 1 new tire. $1200 in tires and no warranty? Returned this morning as I had a tire leak and was told it can't be fixed and needed a new tire. $246 for an additional tire? constantly feel like every time I return here I'm having to spend more money when I feel like I shouldn't have to.. in a year and a half half I'm $1700 + in a set a tires. Tell me I'm not the only one. Perhaps luck of the draw? Or tires I selected. Frustrated, unsatisfied and may look elsewhere for tires and service going forward. read more

I called up to discount tire to order a tire. Gave them all my information they wanted to see the car just to make sure I had the right specifications I took my car over there then waited in the lobby for 20 minutes while they serve everybody who walked through the door but not the black girl who stood at the counter looking sad and lost I will not be returning and I live right across the street read more

Horrible experience will not be returning was talked into getting new tires even though i didn't need them all I needed was a rotation and balance took advantage of me for 860 then when I called back they said my old tires weren't available to put back on my car not happy at all !!! I drive a 2023 Nissan rouge why would I need new tires on a basically brand new car ‍ makes no sense !!! Don't even deserve a one star review read more

BOTH PASSENGER SIDE HUBCAPS WERE BROKEN! Went in to get 2 new tires and have them rotated. My initial review was going to be good considering the reasonable price and short wait time (30 minutes). Today, however, I noticed that both passenger side hubcaps were broken BY THEM in the process of changing tires. I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED that they had broke them, instead had to find out myself. Pretty disappointed. If you choose to get your tires changed here be vigilant.... read more

Great customer service! I ordered tires for my wife's car and my sister's car, who both have Honda Fits. One rim was larger then the other, but both sets of tires were ordered as the same size. To resolve this problem Adam, said that they had that exact tire size in stock and it shouldn't be a problem at all. Adam updated the ticket with a better rated tire that they had in stock. It was a great start to a Saturday morning and made our day! Thanks Adam! read more

Thes guys are great. Two weeks ago I was in West Texas for a funeral. I had a flat and needed a replacement tire. Had one hour to get to funeral. They didn't have my model in stock but gave me another tire to get on the road and back to Tyler. With a note to this manager. The Tyler store replaced the tire with the correct model then gave me the new tire for a spare. read more

This store would not put air in the tire for a 8and a half month pregnant woman, said it was a liability. She had to go across the street and pump her own air at a station. Had to sit on the ground cause she couldn't bend over. What kind of a business is that. Shame on you Discount tire, hope non of your wives or girlfriends ever need help. What kind of America is this becoming. read more

I appreciate these guys over here in the outdoor mall location. Whether it's squeezing in one more customer for new tires before closing before I went on vacation or just checking my tire pressure. They have always done a great job and made you feel welcome. read more

My car was stranded at Discount Tire after closing. Instead of leaving the car outside to get vandalized, stolen or snowed on, they took it in after the tow truck dropped it there. That night we saw the storm of the century and I couldn't get to my car the following day. That continued for 3 days and they kept it inside until I could get there to drive it home. The manager was very understanding of our predicament and after a speedy repair he allowed us time (in the bay) until we could get there. We will be back for a spare and a wheel in the near future and we will go nowhere else for tires or service like and besides this post we will tell our friends and family to do the same. They will treat you right as well. Jay read more

We buy all of our tires from Discount due to price, quality and outstanding service. The South Tyler location is the best. I won't go into details, but had trouble with a new set of tires on a new vehicle. Jacob went above and beyond to help make sure I was a happy customer - no other tire store would do what they did. My wife and I will continue to buy all of our tires here and when our 3 girls start driving they will buy tires here as well. It's rare to see a company work so hard to keep their customers loyal, but it works. Thanks, Bobby Anthony read more

This is a great tire store. I've used discount tire for at least 20 years exclusively. Never had any problems, and this newer store is no exception. Very helpful and friendly staff. I didn't get to hear the Christian music in the lobby like some others, but I hope to on my next visit. Great place either way. So glad they put in a new one closer to where I live. read more

There are a couple of references to scams on Discount Tire reviews. The Road Hazard Warranty is another. Went in to get my tire fixed, Yokohama are not the cheapest tire they run about $175 on the low end. So I bought Road Hazard Warranty. When I took my tire to get it fixed that's when they tell you about the fine print and what it covered. They refused to honor what I've paid for, said Discount Tire doesn't repair tires in that condition. But they offers to sell me a new one with a small discount. Funny thing is, I went down the road to another tire dealership and had my tire plugged and ready in less than 10 minutes!!! You lost a customer today and hopefully others will see what your scams are and stay away!! read more
