Firestone owes me, I brought my car here for a power steering pump and pressure lines to be replaced - took them 8 days. Power steering was still leaking so I brought it back and they said it was a faulty piece of equipment so they would replace it. Now, would you believe me it I told you it was still leaking when I got it back for the 2nd and 3rd time? They had my car for close to 3 weeks and claimed that they fixed it. Well, here we are 3 weeks later, and power steering fluid is empty. Cooperate told me that they "Closed my case." The area manager Matt Saldin (mobile phone number - (480) 570-6278) promised me a phone call to try and fix the problems but instead has completely ignored multiple texts and phone calls from me. Mind you, they have a one-year warranty on the pump and the work that they did that they are not backing as of now. I feel as though I have been scammed out of $1300 and my car is worse than it was before I ever gave it to them. Did I also mention that There was red paint on the bottom of my front bumper and a nail in my back right tire when I got it back? read more

This is a company I trusted for years with my tires. Being a loyal customer for over 5 years I will not be coming back here. I have had multiple problems with the tires they have serviced the last few months. Came here to get a tire patched. I was told two different things from the service manager and the actual service attendant. Not a huge deal but noted. Next, I came back due to a tire pressure light coming on the dash. (this happened the day after they fixed my tire). A worker checks my tires and doesn't seem to find anything. Unfortunately the lights on the dash don't lie, I asked if he could check the sensor in tire that they just fixed yesterday. He checks it and realizes its not working..... Oh, well here we go again. I was told by the tech I could purchase one and bring it in for him to change it out free of charge. I told the guy are you sure he said absolutely. Or we can order you one and we just charge you for the sensor. Thinking of the option the first one sounded easy enough. Fast forward to a few days ago. I called to talk to the tech that helped me the last time. He wasn't available at the moment, Someone took my info and said he will call me back. I ended up having the service manger call to ask me if I needed a quote on tires and she assured me she could help. (funny thing is never said I needed new tires at all). just a sensor. I believe her name is Jessica or Jennifer. She was so rude and unprofessional. I told her my story about the tech I was working with. She told me about their policy which doesn't allow for outside parts to be brought in from customers. Well considering those were my options. I was highly confused on why I was told that. She just implied that isn't our policy and she would speak with the tech that told me and then hung up the phone. No goodbye, no did I address all your concerns today. Nothing. I can't believe how bad I was treated. I filed a complaint but no one has reached out. Do better FIRESTONE! You have so many locations customer service should be TOP PRIORITY!!! read more

In my experience, this shop proved to be completely untrustworthy, unreliable and overwhelmingly incompetent. They had my car for just over two weeks and damaged it while in their possession attempting to make repairs. Throughout the entire ordeal, communication was practically nonexistent and I was ignored until I finally filed a formal complaint and claim with Firestone just to get a response. Based on what I went through, I would strongly advise any potential customers think twice before handing their vehicle to this incompetent shop. My interactions with the staff, including the manager, Dustin, left me with serious doubts about their honesty, accountability, and ability to handle even basic responsibilities. One-star is generous. Have you noticed that all one-star reviews are commonly followed by a Firestone representative who seems compassionate? The replies I received were sad if not laughable at best. I first took my automobile to Firestone Complete Auto Care (FCAC) on 09/09/24, because warm air was coming from my air vent instead of cold air. They claimed to fix it; the cost was $344. As I drove home, I immediately noticed that my AC was still producing warm air. I returned on 09/16/24, and they convinced me that my radiator was the reason for the warm air coming out. They completely flushed out the radiator; the cost $251. I left only to experience the same warm air forcing me to place a one-star review. Within days, I received the customary "we wish to make it better" emails from FCAC representatives 'Sarah' and 'Cali' but nothing was done. Finally, on 12/26/24, I received a call from Gen. Manager M. Celine promising that FCAC would correct the situation 'free of charge'. He was going to send me to a different FCAC. I was hopeful that I finally found someone who was sincere and hopeful. I brought my car to a different FCAC on 01/07/25. The new mechanics checked my car and their findings shocked me. They told me that it was not my air conditioner, but rather, a broken HVAC Evaporation Blend Door that the first FCAC completely missed! This is why I was experiencing warm air because the broken door only allowed cold air on the passenger side. Most likely, after the first FCAC finished their work, they only went to the passenger side to check their work. My complaint about warm air was ignored. Now came the surprise: "They could fix it for approximately $2,000 (of which $1600 is for labor)." They would forward the diagnosis and how to fix it to Mr. Celine. As I expected, I received no call from Mr. Celine. I have left two voice messages on his phone, and a long email, but total silence. The "we'll fix it free" promise from Mr. Celine now appears to be a delusory appeasement response. So much for honesty. Maybe I should take the suggestions from my NextDoor post and either contact the Nashville, Tennessee headquarters or a local television consumer advocate. If the first two FCAC visits had checked both driver and passenger sides, I would not be in this mess. read more

"They were spoken for by another customer." Oh really? One who made their appointment more than a week ago? How about a phone call before I drive an hour for my appointment? That would have been a minimum level of service. I ended up getting the tires a block away at BigO. Awesome owner, awesome people. Installed them while I waited. I would never trust Firestone to touch my vehicles; they can't even keep an appointment and care nothing about your time. My car had a battery fail. It had a bad cell just six months after I bought it. When I went into Firestone (where I'd bought that battery and the one before it) to have it replaced, they charged me almost the entire amount of the battery. When I asked why, they told me that I was still under the warranty of the battery that I had bought there in 2018. That battery had a two-year full replacement plus a three-year prorated replacement. So when I bought a battery 6 months ago, I didn't get a warranty that will ever be effective for me. The 2018 battery warranty will run out in 2023 and that is when my two-year warranty new battery is supposed to run out as well. I've been buying batteries for years and I've never heard of anything like this. And by the way, the new battery isn't even from the same manufacturer as the old battery. Firestone had dumped Interstate batteries in the last 6 months. When I mentioned the fact that my new battery warranty will never be worthwhile to the rep, he said that if he had to honor the battery warranties on the new batteries purchased there, he'd never sell a battery. I said that this was the only product I'd ever purchased where the warranty was worthless. Just crazy. read more

While the staff in the showroom area were pleasant but unfortunately whomever rotated my tires failed to out the lug nuts on properly so about 4 weeks later due to a noise while driving I parked the car & had it towed. The place I took it to indicated the following: "Lug nuts eere extremely loose and wheel was about to fall off" I am very fortunate that the wheel did NOT fall off & cause an accident/injury to myself or others!!! I have been a loyal Firestone customer for over 13 years; unfortunately that ends today. Other than a few service trips to the dealership, we have used Firestone exclusively for all our vehicles the last 13 years; across multiple locations throughout the Valley. After today's experience with Hope I will be looking for another reputable facility. Hope's customer service skills are absolutely horrendous. After a miscommunication between a mechanic and her regarding whether to charge for something or not, Hope told me he wasn't allowed to say they wouldn't charge for a diagnostic test and instead she would do me the courtesy of only charging 1/2 the price. After I told her I was advised by one of your representatives I would not be charged for that diagnostic test, Hope told me he doesn't represent Firestone and can't decide that. I find it interesting that he does represent Firestone when calling for an additional service to charge for and authorized to proceed in the scenario that best suits Hope and her sales bonus/commissions/quota; but not when it's in the best interest of the customer. After much back and forth and me asking for her manager, Hope said she's the service manager and there is nothing she can do. This was a terrible customer service approach but what could I do at that point. 10 minutes later Hope called back and said she talked to her team and now miraculously she would waive that particular charge. What happened in the time between holding the firm line of "nothing she can do and she makes the decision" to then calling back to "save the day". Hope's attitude, customer service skills, emotional intelligence, and overall demeanor (in person and on the phone) is absolutely horrendous. I would be embarrassed as a store owner/operator, regional manager, etc to have her as the customer facing component of the operation. On the flip side, service technicians Hunter and Marcus were both extremely helpful and courteous. They are the only reason I may return to Firestone. Given Hope's lack of customer service skills and terrible attitude, I wouldn't be surprised if these great technicians also leave Firestone. Disappointing experience. read more

This is probably the worst place to go to get an alignment done or any work done. First they misdiagnosed the issue with my steering. Told me I can't get an aliniment due to rack and pinion binding. Took to Mercedes Benz and it wasn't my rack and pinion it was my power steering. They misdiagnose, aren't very great at there jobs. Place definitely needs to be closed down. DONT go here at all. I was experiencing battery charging issues. Returned from an out-of-town trip with a 1:30 Friday appointment. Flight was late so I called when I landed in PHX at 3:30. Stuck in traffic, I didn't get to Firestone until 5 (they close at 6). Juan had taken my earlier phone call and had already ordered the battery. Mondo was the customer service specialist who met me at check-in. He tracked down battery and said it would be in 'shortly'. Battery arrived about 5 minutes later. Marcus had already confirmed my existing battery was bad. He maid quick, professional repairs. I was in and out in less than an hour!! Staff was professional, courteous and provided timely updates. I have used this Firestone on several occasions and always been VERY satisfied with their work and competitive pricing. Great location for auto service! I highly recommend them! Two weeks ago, my car battery was dying so my wife called Firestone on Carefree Highway just west of Cave Creek Road. She got a 1:30 appointment for me to take the car in. I got there at 1 p.m. 3 Mechanics, (I think), were standing in the lobby together, not in the garage working. I was told they would call me when it was done, in about an hour. At 3:30 I called and was told they were waiting for the battery? I was surprised and angry and asked when I would be able to come and get it. We only have 1 car. Seniors in our 70's. I had to get a ride! They called at 4:30 and I called my daughter to come get me. Her husband. My son-in-law took me. When I got to Firestone, I asked why they would make an appointment when they knew they had no battery. The young, and obviously inexperienced clerk looked at me and said, "well, we did you a favor, you didn't even have an appointment, we fit you in!" This place has changed hands again. Under New Management a couple of years ago. I have not been please since they've changed. Office staff seem pretty rude. I understand everyone's busy, I understand their supply chain issues, but even before the supply chain issue and the pandemic I had started to realize that the pricing was extremely high. This location seems to have trouble staying with the timeline or estimated timeline that they provide at the time of dropping off your vehicle. Thhey give you your estimates as if it's no big deal like you just have so much money. we're all struggling. The only reason we seem to keep coming back is because of the convenience of the location but after today I think it's time to look for a new auto shop. read more

I dropped my truck off for a simple alignment and not only did I get that, they noticed my driveshaft was causing the shaking that I had been told was my transmission by a different shop. I was saved several thousand that I had been quoted for the transmission that wasn't even the problem. A lot of people talk about a lack on honesty in vehicle repair, but that is not the case here. When trying to leave, a worker parked right behind the parked cars - no one could leave. When I asked the car to be moved a Neanderthal worker yells at me, "WTF" I will not return for car servicing or tires. The service here is amazing. I had an oil leak and the guys at this location filled my car with dye to find the leak at no charge. I went back and they needed to add more dye and still didn't charge me anything. Went back again and they figured out that the issue was covered under warranty through Mazda and sent me on my way. I was impressed they researched that detail for me. They were so nice and went above and beyond considering they did it all for free! if it wasn't under warranty I would have used them to fix the issue as they seemed educated and well equipped for the job. On October 2nd I brought my truck in for an oil change. I have used Firestone off and on for about ten years. However it will be my last time ever using them. Five days later I noticed a large amount of oil leaking from under my car and immediately took it up the road to another shop. They determined that the oil cap and filter were broken and the engine was beyond repair. It took 2 months for Firestone to process my claim. They did not provide any compensation for a rental during this time. I finally got my truck back today because we had to threaten legal action multiple times. However they have refused to reimburse for any rental even though they were determined to be at fault. The mechanics at the shop where I got my truck fixed said it was the second engine replacement they did as a result of the Cave Creek Firestone . Use at your own risk read more

I had a spectacular experience here - had the misfortune of blowing out two tires and one wheel/rim coming around a corner and hitting a curb. My tires were fairly new as I had purchased them in late April and my accident happened in early August - I could have limped my way out to Discount Tires off Carefree (where I originally purchased them), but decided to give Firestone a try based on a neighbors recommendation and proximity. I believe I would have done more damage had I tried to get out there. I'm glad I did - Abe was amazing! Really took care of me - we laughed - told me he only wants to see me for oil changes going forward. Loved his levity and accommodation in a stressful time! Thank you for the wonderful service! First time customer. Needed installer for tires I had ordered from Tire Rack for my BMW X5 4.8i. This is a difficult install as the 20" rims are also very wide. Manager Abe answered all my questions on the phone, including a plan to coordinate with another Firestone shop if the really wide 315/20 rear wheels wouldn't fit on their machine. Turns out technician Ryan knows his stuff, no problem. In and out in just over one hour. Customer experience was perfect. I don't have a single suggestion for improvement. Tire Rack/Firestone saved me roughly $400 on this set of tires over Discount Tire and other stores. This is my new "go to" for tires. I will also give Firestone a shot for my routine auto service needs. read more

This is a 5 star rating, to date, for this Firestone location, under the management of Johnathan Lathrop. I originally had a brand new, second set of wheels installed on a vintage, pristine '05 Audi TT with only 34K miles. Two months later I had 4 new Bridgestones installed by this Firestone location, while it was still under ownership of Fletcher Tires. (I also had 4 Hercules tires mounted on my Toyota Tacoma truck, simultaneously.) Less than 2 weeks later I noticed all 4 wheel lug holes on the Audi had been scored/chipped when Fletcher mounted the new tires. But Fletcher had now changed ownership to Firestone, and the same previous Fletcher manager of sales (now at Firestone) told me nothing could be done about the damage because the ownership change voided any responsibility. Two months ago, I needed a second new set of tires after getting 2 flats on the same 4-wheel steering Audi. This time I twice cautioned Jeanette and Abe, Service Manager, to be cautious about further damaging the same wheels during dismount and mounting. Nonetheless, the wheel lug holes and nearby surfaces were scored even more and the wheels were filthy. I complained and the wheels were well cleaned by Abe, but he referred me to Johnathan Lathrop about the damage. I'm extremely happy to report that Johnathan Lathrop could not be more pleasant and customer friendly about satisfying me due to the damage of my wheels. This has included his searching for a fairly priced wheel refinisher (could not be found) suggesting vintage parts locations, and ultimately agreeing to replace all four wheels at minimal charge. read more

If it still has the same owners as when it was called, "Fletchers" DO NOT GO HERE! Everyone from this community knows to avoid this place at all cost. I used to go here, a long time ago I should add and knew others who went here and there are so many people I have talked to with terrible experiences. Known for stealing change, recommending unnecessary products, and causing serious damage to cars. If this is different ownership/business I will remove this but if not everyone who has lived in Cave Creek for a long time know this place is extremely sketchy. I got an oil change here once and then a few weeks later my car was making odd noises, got it checked at a different shop and they didn't even change the oil! I called them back and they said they had a problem that week, but admitted it! I made a yelp today after realizing this place is still here and just thought I should create this ad to warn people from the terrible business practices that most locals know about. There are others in the area that are amazing, may be more expensive but at least it is not a huge liability. It makes sense they changed the name because I am sure word got around to how bad this place is. I have talked to so many people with way worse stories than me, just thought I would voice some of them on here. Just pay the extra cash and go anywhere else.
