First, I want to clarify a few things. I get places will have friends and family leave reviews but I am not one of those people-especially when it comes to services being provided. Second, I get the place was very busy and perhaps short of staff so, the fact that I was there longer than anticipated can't really be held against them. I was given an appointment to come in for service as the day I called were unable to guarantee my repairs good be done in adequate time. I made the appointment and went in. I commend Terrell (?) for being very honest with me and communicating about how things were proceeding. They were able to do the service I requested as well as inspect other things-which was very helpful. I always feel like when it comes to mechanical and auto it is hard to really know or determine who is trustworthy. While I can't be sure the prices were competitive or that they would price match, I'd still like to believe they are honest and will try their best. I felt welcomed and valued. I would suggest at least getting their opinion or stop in and have an inspection if you are in need of repair and/or want a second opinion. I'd go back. read more

I brought my Chevy Silverado because of a mass oil leak. I waited over a week before finally get my truck back. The service advisor was on the phone and asked did I want my receipt emailed and I agreed. After a half hour or so I had not received it. I called and was put on hold. I took the truck to a car wash in Menomonee Falls while on hold. I purposely stayed on the on hold. I returned to the store while I was still on hold and I was asked by the service advisor how can I help you. I replied I'm still on hold. My receipt was printed then. The total amount came to over $3400 and did know why I needed parts I knew nothing about. A few days later I noticed puddles of oil on my driveway. I took it back for them to get it right. They had the truck for about two weeks just sitting there. I called and I was told it needed a valley pan. A few days after getting my vehicle back I still noticed puddles of oil on my driveway. I called and was told to drive it for 3 weeks to see if it will clear up. I was told by a reputable mechanic a few drops is common not puddles of oil. A few hours later my dashboard indicated I needed to add oil because it was critically low. I added multiple quarts of oil and now I have another appointment. My vehicle is tied to my livehood because it is a commercial vehicle and I must have my truck available to make a living. I feel they are not being truthful with me. I'm seriously considering legal action. I already posted on Google. My next post will be with the BBB and Contact 6. This is the Brown Deer Road location. Hopefully they will get it right after 3 visits in less than 2 months for this on-going issue. I will be forever done with their shop and will not recommend them to anyone. I paid for a diagnostics report at a engine shop and he noticed a lot of negligence and documented his findings and showed me live leakage and deviations from the standards guidelines for mechanics making repairs on vehicles. He noticed some of the same part numbers from the same parts store that supplies him was doubled from the costs he pays for the same exact part.He also noticed hours on one repair that was supposed to be charged at under 2.25 hours was charged at 11 hours. Suggested parts for repairs weren't used but inferior materials were used instead for the repair compromising safety and increasing liability. read more

I've had several auto services performed here and the service quality is always good. They are a busy office with many walk-ins, and customers with complicated car issues. I've had them call with timely updates and sometimes a late update. My concern is the quality of work and that is consistently very good. They've always taken time with me to present all the options and answered questions to my satisfaction. read more

Very Disappointed! I've brought all my vehicles here for the past three years. I stay in the area so it's convenient. I made an appointment and took my vehicle in for new tires, passenger doorhandle replaced and the stability track light was on. I have always been well informed with about the work needed and the prices before it's was done. This time however, someone name Taylor handle my workorder. He did a vehicle inspection and called me to let me know what was found. The upper and lower ball joints needed to be replaced along with the shocks, air filter and light bulb. Since I had the ball joints replaced there the previous year I asked if they were warranty. Taylor told me he would check into it and call me back. He called me back The Next Day and said I can come and pick up my truck. I asked about the warranty parts and he said it was still under warranty but the labor was not covered. He went on to tell me all the other repairs that was done. They replace/fixed items that I didn't authorize such as shocks all the way around and my bill was twice as large as I expected. Taylor became was very unprofessional as we attempted to resolve the issue. He used language in an attempt to intimidate me. He called me a liar and then hung up on me when I asked to speak with someone else. I called back and asked for management information and I was told management information cannot be given out. I may have to travel further but good customer service is paramount when I'm spending my hard earned money. read more

I've used Tiresplus for years located in Brown Deer for many years and finally gave up on them. Terrible customer service, always late once promised and services were seldom done right the first time. I heard Firestone now owns Tiresplus and am looking forward to trying out a new place. Wow, it was a great choice. My wife had a screw in her tire and took it to Firestone early this morning at 7:00 AM and met the store manager Brody Herb. Wow, what a huge difference between Tiresplus and Firestone. Brody was was extremely pleasant to talk to regarding my needs and he held to a promise time when it will be completed. They were on time and even sent me texts on their progress. Now, that's customer service. Extremely happy with Firestone and especially Brody. read more

So I been making appointments at Firestone for awhile. They're usually pretty respectable with my time. However the location on Brown Deer Road really dropped the ball today. I scheduled an appointment for an brake fluid inspection and wheel alignment. So I check in and stuff and wait. 1 hour passes, the associate calls me and asks me if I want to continue with the brake fluid exchange beause the tech doesnt see a need for it, i tell her that if its not necessary then don't do it. She then proceeds to tell me that the wheel alignment with be about another 15-20 mins, great! Another hour passes, another associate comes out and asks me of I want to come back because they are doing a wheel alignment on another car, and it'll take awhile. So I'm really confused as to why they would lie and say its another 15-20 mins, when the current car they're working on takes almost an hour to finish, and now I've been waiting close to 4 hours in this place. Stuff like his makes me lose trust in the competency of Firestone, I guess only one location near me is actually worth going to from now on. read more

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 9:30am and said I'd wait for my car, but I didn't realize that meant waiting 2.5 hours until noon for my oil change to be complete. I was told when my car was FINALLY complete that the store was understaffed that day. If that information had been communicated when I arrived, I would have left my car and walked to some nearby stores or I would have rescheduled my appointment. It should not take that long for an overpriced oil change. Definitely do not recommend this place and will never come here again. read more

I brought my car in to get new tires and decided to wait thinking it shouldn't take long since we're just getting new tires. We had already called the previous day and they already had the tires. We came in at 1. 2 hours later, I'm still sitting here and my car is still sitting on the lift with no word from the employees. No apology or explanation as to why we are sitting here waiting so long. The only reason why we came here is because we were referred by our trusted mechanic. I'm pissed off I took my car in September 29 for a routine oil change. No check engine light on nothing no oil leak. 3 -4 weeks later oil light pops on and car smoking and engine shaking like a earthquake . mind you I work from home only drove the car on Saturday and maybe Sunday. Tried reaching the store get put on hold each time half and hour or better no one picks up the phone or they say please hold and still no help. Can't get to the shop because they are closed when I get off work. So basically need to use vacation to get up there. At this point i don't want them touching my car . So went and got a 2nd opinion at Brown Deer Garage and they check out my car and told that my car had less than 1 quart of engine oil and he confirmed that I have no leaks I have the sticker from Firestone from the last oil change and I only drove the car maybe 400 miles . There is no way in hell I went used 5 quarts of oil in 1 month again no leaks Advised by the mechanic. please stay away guys I need a new car. read more

This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went to the Firestone located in Milwaukee WI on 84th Brown Deer Rd on Thurs Oct 31st (a very snowy day) to see if I could get new tires I was told they couldn't do on Thurs and the next avail appt is on monday of the following week. I asked how late are you open until he said "7pm" and he asked what time was I able to come and I stated 6pm. Monday came and I went for my scheduled appt, gave the lady my name and she said I don't have an appt and they close at 6pm. She gave me descriptions of two men and I told her which one maded the appt, and she stated that he suddenly quit and turned the screen to show me that I don't have an appt. Needless to say I left very very pissed off, I have a very complex work schedule so it's not easy arranging appt and it's even harder when getting off so late in the evening. The next place I went to wants to keep my car the whole day on a day that I work (not an option) the 3rd place I went to the next avail appt is two weeks from now. I guess I'll just have a fu.... accident and kill someone if not myself, maybe then I'll be able to get some damn tires!!!! I had a scheduled appointment for a Saturday morning and when I got there, they didn't know what services I needed after I had already explained to the guy on the phone. I dropped my car off when they opened and never heard from them all day. My services were a tire repair, oil change and to look at my blower fan. I called Sunday morning when they opened and asked about the status, they were just about to do the "inspection". I told them I needed my car at a specific time, which was 2.5 hours later. I show up 4 hours later and my services STILL were not completed. I've used this location numerous amounts of time over the years and I've never had this bad of an experience. What is the point of making an appointment? When do they keep your car over night and don't contact you? Since when does an oil change and a tire plug take so long? I declined the other service. However, according to YouTube, the fan replacement takes minutes. Unscrew, pop out, pop in and screw back in. Totally unacceptable. read more
