I got there around 11:00 and had to wait on parts It's almost 2:00 now the parts have been here about 15 minutes. There was one guy in the store okaying around with his phone showing us drone videos. I asked why my car was still waiting and why he was in here playing around but the lady told me he was not my technician. I dmy really care I feel he needed to be working on someone's car. The gentlemen that helped me in the beginning was very good and nice and professional but when I brought up the guy who was not my technician the lady went over and was whispering to him About it...not very professional. Samuel said that he was a new manager with great communication and had only been in Texas for 2 weeks. He is from North Carolina. I could not tell it. Samuel is an awesome manager who seemed to really know what he was doing. He was in command of the Champions location. Richard was the mechanic who worked on the vehicle. He was an excellent communicator and a great problem solver who cares about the customer. Richard really knew what he was doing. I was so impressed. Lisa is responsible for closing the shop. I came in on a sunday morning a few weeks ago for an alignment on my truck which they did do but while telling them what I came in for i specifically said to torque the front track bar that i had just installed with my new leveling kit which they DID NOT do and didnt find out until a few days later when it started rattling on my truck! A TOTAL BOTCH A TOTAL FIASCO Took my Acura TLX in for a new auto battery. What a total cock up this turned into. Next day In Whole Foods parking lot with grocery order car won't start; electrical system dead. Called AAA; technician comes and determines that battery clamp to positive battery pole broken and won't stay on battery. Towed car to Firestone. They acknowledged clamp broke when they removed old battery and did not notify me. They agreed to replace battery clamp but had to get part from Acura dealership. They kept my car for two days waiting on the part. When I collected my car I opened the hood and noticed my battery holder fastening arm was missing. Firestone checked their shop and could not find it. They told me to go to a local auto parts store and buy a replacement which the paid for. Do not use this shop. They are incompetent. read more

We are prior Military and have gotten Services and FIRESTONE for years and have never had such a terrible experience. Horrible customer service. Came for a diagnostic and left with my 5 service lights on that were not on when I dropped off. I was told it'd be 1/2 hours, and it took two days!! We were given several different updates. (Car being ready, then it's not ready. Then pick up the car. Actually no it isn't complete... when it finally was complete, I hit two stops and the check engine light began blinking and car began making noises, and shaking. Immediately went back and I was told me pretty much it would've happened regardless. And there's nothing they could do because they don't have the part needed for the original issues. (One issue, not several) When reading the codes there are now multiple misfires, when there were NONE prior to bringing them my vehicle. None of these issues were happening. I asked to speak to the manager to get some resolve, and he says he was the manager. They are incompetent at BEST. . My family vehicle has more issues than when I dropped it off. I have a family with 4 children one with a special needs and a serious medical condition who won't have transportation because of their incompetence. My car was running fine prior to its arrival at this FIRESTONE! And they won't even accept responsibility since it has happened on their watch. I was told it likely would've happened regardless. Took me over 2 hours for a quoted 45 minute oil change. Waiting for an oil filter to to be delivered, but they didn't tell me they're waiting for the filter until I came to check an hour into the service. They wouldn't give me my car back. I should have known since the previous visit they didn't have a part I needed. I asked them before hand in the previous visit. Didn't think to ask since it's just a simple oil change. If you go here, make sure they have the parts you need before you commit to service or it will cost you your valuable time. I don't mind if you're honest with me about the time frame, but if they would have just told me instead of me finding out because I asked them, I could have planned around them. They worked with my warranty company to make sure that I got all the tires that I needed. The customer service here was superb. Jim and Judy are the star players today. *Warning* Incoming wall of text So imagine you're driving along on your way to work la la la la la.... you stop at your usual stop light, the light turns green, you put your foot on the accelerator and your car doesn't move. First thought? Fuuuuuuudge (4 year old in the car). Second thought? I'm already late for work dammit. Third thought? There's nothing wrong with my car (denial). Final thought? Where the F is a mechanic? I don't know this damn area. So I drove on 1960 going about 15 miles per hour because that's all my car could muster. It's a new car! Fuuuuuuuuu***** So I keep driving. OH a Wal-Mart. I hate Wal-Mart. But I need help. So I putter in and guess what... They don't deal with this. Interesting but not surprised. They didn't even tell me where I could go. I saw Discount Tires but not too sure they can look at a Honda. Pass. Then I saw Firestone. I had already called my boss and he told me to go there. I later kicked his arse. So they looked at my car. It took about 3 hours....for 2.5 hours my car just sat there. It's Saturday so they're busy changing everyone's oil in the area. Luckily the 3 hours went by fast because of the Smoothie King next door Coming to America on t.v., and a nice chat on the phone. 3 hours later, I found out that I needed a new coolant sensor and engine sensor. But those are dealer-only parts. So I'd have to wait until Monday. They didn't do anything to my car except hook it up to a diagnostic machine? You want to know how much that was? $100? WTF? When I asked the guy if it was okay to drive my car he said... **2 second timeout before I tell you what he said** I hate asking where ballcocks are in a home improvement store. But I hate taking my car to a mechanic even more. Women's liberation was 3 decades ago but sexism is still alive and kicking. This is proven every time I take my car to a mechanic. Why do they do this? I know what's wrong with my car, I just don't know how to fix it (except tires) I can change a tire. So as I was saying... he said "Well.... you got here didn't you?" No A/C in Houston? Are you kidding me? He wasn't kidding. It's Saturday... parts will come in on Monday. Monday - I took my car back. And guess what... nimrod NEVER ordered the parts. I'm only off from work Sundays and Mondays. So okay... I still need my oil changed. A two bagger of a woman then proceeds to tell me that I can't do that either because service stops at 6 PM. It was 6:05. I left thinking okay... never coming back here again. Tuesday - The guy I originally talked to said my parts where in. I've already paid $100. If I go somewhere else I might have to pay ANOTHER fee for them to do the same thing Firestone already did AND they might have to order the parts too... prolonging my car getting fixed. FINE. I'll do it. Wednesday - I took a half day at work to get my car fixed to just get it over with. It took about 2 hours and the guy actually had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to get a Firestone credit card. What's the APR? 39%? Methinks not. Total cost: $496. I started driving and guess what... the A/C wasn't cold. But I thought okay... if it's still just air (non-cold variety) for the rest of the day I'm going back tomorrow. I never had to, thank God because my A/C is cold again... the only thing saving them from 1 stupid star. 2 is generous but it's not for the cost or for the condescending employees... for not ordering the part when he said he would. Unethical! I took my secondary vehicle in for an inspection ($39.75). The guy comes back with a $272 bill for new tires, belts and some other bs. First off...I'm an engineer by trade and do all of my own vehicle repairs and definitely not a newb to inspections. At any rate, I said no to $272. They guy, Chris, didn't like that so he said my tires were bad and didn't pass me and charged me $39.75....for what!?? So then I took my car to another place that only does inspections. The staff is very courteous and helpful. I went to have a flat replaced and a free brake check because I was hearing a scraping noise after a brake replacement by another auto shop. I dropped my vehicle off on a Saturday around 10 am. They were done by 2pm. Turns out all of my tires were low on tread (something I was aware of but initially thought could wait). I was given a really good deal on 4 tires that I could not pass up. They did not hear the scraping noise I heard so I asked for someone to ride with me to be sure. To my surprise, after the tires were replace the noise was gone. Xavier rode with me and ensured me that he thoroughly inspected my brakes and everything was fine. I was skeptical to take my car to Firestone because of low reviews but I noticed all of them are mostly about the wait time. I'd rather an accurate job than a rushed one. I'm very happy with the service. I came here to change my tires and found out that they could also change out my axles that needed to be replaced. My dealership quoted for new axles $1400. They offered refurbished ones with warranty for just over $600. Both auto care advisers were very helpful. Issue arose with my repair and storm made power go out which delayed things. They said they would drive me to pick up my child if need be and finish the job. My only issues, not huge deal, but if you have to wait there for your car, it stinks of smoke. If I didn't have work to do, I would have left while it was being worked on. They do have free wifi which is handy. But definitely not the most comfortable place to stay while your car is being worked on. read more
