I was met with absolutely no resistance to the claim and both Thomas and and the owner showed great integrity. I will be sending the kid back to the shop in the future. They've earned our trust. Things happen. It is how you deal with them that makes your mark in this world. These gentlemen made a lasting impression. They are careful not to waste your time and money. They fix what is needed. They do the job right the first time and don't upsell! The 3 things they fixed on my car were all sins committed by other shops and dealers. G&S fixed it for 1/4 the price the dealer wanted just to look at it. It was a bunch of annoying noises that worried me. When G&S looked at it, they found that another local shop failed to reattach a shock absorber during a prior repair! Yikes. G&S did so well on my car that I asked if they could send a mechanic out to replace a couple of dead batteries in my RV. OMG ... They do local emergency road service too! The dead batteries in my RV were caused by a Cummins shop certified in motorhomes. During that repair, the Cummins shop failed to turn off the battery cut offs. I called to remind them. I wrote a note on the work order. Despite being told exactly what to do, they repeatedly failed to turn them off everyday over 7 days. If you take a battery to 0V too many times, it's a paperweight. G&S came out and replaced dead batteries in my RV and they were 30% less than the next nearest mechanic! Both vehicles are running fantastic! Okay ... I cannot say enough good things about these folks. Honestly, bringing my cars to G&S is the first time I felt a Texas auto shop was straight with me.

The building itself isn't rundown, but by no means is the building brand new. I expect a mechanic shop to have grit to showcase they actually work and they don't mind getting dirty. I forget, every year, to do my yearly inspection. Surely enough, looking at the blue sticker in my window showcases my forgetfulness. There are a multitude of places in Houston metropolitan area that does this inspection, but I wanted close to home and in & out service. I called these guys and they informed me they had an open slot. I show up and was nicely greeted and was asked if I was the one that called. They took all necessary information and got my vehicle right in and out. I can only gauge them based off the service I needed and the quality of service I was given. If any other work is needed and I utilize them, I'll adjust my rating accordingly.

They told my husband that they were fine but it only needed a tune up. Paid $1172 for service drove him 10 mins and that was the last time my car ran. So 2 weeks later they come Back and oh yeah your catalytic converter's do need to be replaced new total is $2980 ummm no sir not when you misdiagnosed it originally. I requested to speak with the owner no response to date. Fast forward to 3.22 my car is ready they still want me to pay almost $3k for the new service not even offsetting the original service that wasn't needed . 3.24 my car is back at Meineke all sort os safety lights flashing and sounds and my car sounds like a diesel .3.26 still no car!
