I think it was an overall good experience. I spent over $2,000 on new wheels and tires, so I was a little disappointed that the Discount Tire Mobile Installation Van arrived about an hour late for my scheduled appointment, especially since I had rearranged my day around it. Other than that, I really don't have any complaints. I went with Michelin tires and have been very impressed with their performance and ride quality. Michelin continues to live up to its reputation. I also enjoyed speaking with Hunter over the phone. He was courteous, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I'll definitely be stopping by the service department in person for future alignments and tire rotations read more

Dexter and Gavin were amazing and took care of us! Can't thank them enough for their service. We had trouble with damage on our wheel and they helped us make the right decision. Thank you read more

This place is definitely 5 stars in my book. I went in to get all my TPMS changed on my truck and they did a great job completing the task. Upon putting my caps back on my rim one of them was I'm assuming put on crooked and broke 2 pressure points on the cap so it wouldn't stay on, I literally thought my experience would be down hill from here but Mr. Troy the associate took very good care of me and ordered me one and I got it put on the very next day. They really value the customer and their vehicles I will definitely be giving them all my tire services from here on out. Thanks crew for your efforts. Happy Yelping! read more

Sad to say that this location has gone downhill. I have 2 vehicles now, an older one that just got a new set of tires 11 months ago and service was pretty good except they didn't seem to approve of my tire selection for that vehicle though they were correctly sized but were on sale. I am a female who grew up around cars and learned a few things over the years, so I feel targeted for upselling. Anyway they installed the new Cooper tires after commenting about other more costly options. Today, I rolled in with my new vehicle, that only has 22k miles, for a flat repair knowing it was possible due to location. When dropping it off a technician also agreed it could be repaired, then the phone call came stating it wasn't safe to repair and I need to purchase a new tire. I instructed the upselling caller to put the wheel and tire back in the cargo area, that's when he offered to install the spare tire. It was obvious that he had not seen the tire himself as the spare was already installed as I had driven to them on the full-size spare tire. I promptly took it to the dealership 20 minutes away for confirmation and repair. Females beware! This place isn't honest unless you are purchasing a new tire and even when purchasing an entire set they tell you there are better options for a different tire as an upsell. read more

Always great service. Went today with a slow leak on one tire. They fixed it pretty quickly and at no charge. Love the honesty and great customer service. Isidro Galguera read more

All went well from greeting me at the door, providing me with the recommended tires and letting me know when they would be ready (they were busy). However, when he priced the tires he did not ask or tell me that he had included the tire insurance. When I mentioned it he said, "I thought you told me to include it." I responded, "You didn't ask." He had no response. As the insurance can add ~15% to the price, it's an important question to ask. I don't believe it was an oversight. He probably gets a commission on the insurance. I've been going to Discount Tires for over 10 years and this is the first time something like this has happened. I'm 75 and a bit grizzled so he probably thought he could get one past me. read more

Most expensive free tire ever. Be careful here not to leave any thing of value in your car during service. Our daughter necklace went missing after being serviced. My husband took her car here to replace a flat. He was unaware she left her necklace in the car. When she came home from a trip we discovered it was gone. This is very upsetting that you just can't trust people to do the right thing. read more

The professional staff at this location are consistent in their professionalism & keepimg the customer in mind by offering options to get you back on the rode. Unexpected tire damage, options explained to help me make a decision that didn't break the bank. This is my go to for tires regardless of vehicles I own. Big shout out to Jason for deflating my frustrating unexpected situation. I have been coming here for years, for the most part Discount tire is very consistent but this one is ALWAYS on point. They are professional, fast and friendly. It's not often that you can know what to expect and not be disappointed. Thank you discount for being one of the few businesses that k is what they are doing! read more

just had a couple of tires on the front changed. I go to pick it up and find that they put the new tires on the rear, without my permission. I wanted to keep the new tires on the front. The manager told me that they do this as a best practice, but I think the best practice is to do what the customer wants. He offered to rotate them back, which I may do later when I have time, but frankly I didn't need to have to visit the store twice. read more

Guys like Chris Sobol are the reason I will always be a client of discount tire. They were pretty busy when I walked in and Chris asked me how he could help Me. I told him my situation. Just got a new truck and wanted to swap my wheel locks from my old truck to my new truck. He grabbed a torque wrench and said I will do it right now. I was very thankful. I only had about 30 mins before my sons next game started. I was in and out within 5 minutes or less. Chris Sobol grabbed the toque wrench and followed me outside to my truck. He was very professional and nice. He took off my standard lugs and put the wheel locks on. I was in and out in five minutes on a very bus Saturday afternoon. Thanks again Sobol. You at the man. Management. I hope you read this. Chris Sobol is a great person and really professional and good at what he does. read more

I have been getting tires from Discount for years. These guys are knowledgeable, respectful, and professional. I had always purchased the road hazard, and not once, when I needed to use the warranty have they questioned. When it comes to the price, if they are not already the best deal, they have matched the cost of the competition. These guys are great. read more

My wife recently had a blow out with one of the front tires. The car was towed to Discount Tire. We had previously bought the tires from them and they honored the tire warranty and just charged for the use that was on the tire. They changed everything out and we were back on the road for less than $60. with a new tire! The best experience! read more

Do not ask or deal with Tony when you go into this location. He is completely unprofessional and rude. I went in because my tire light came on. Every time my light come on I usually have a nail. When I got to the counter he asked a bunch of questions about checking the tire pressure. He was dismissive and treated me like I was ignorant throughout our conversation. He asked for the my keys and did not make any effort after that to tell me about the status of my car. He had a text sent to my phone and then grabbed his bag of hot fries. When I went to pick the car up with my fiancé he was nowhere to be found. Needless to say there was a screw in my tire. I will not be returning to this location. read more

A few years back I stopped into this location before making a big drive across the country, I received great service, new tires at a great deal. Everyone was competent and more than willing to help. Now recently after coming back home to Texas I needed new tires, so I stopped in again and received the same great service! I'm definitely a fan and will be bringing friends to this location. read more

Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Spring, Texas

I came to this location because they had good reviews. Although they didnt have the tire I wanted, they were willing to special order it for me. They called me a few days later saying they had got the tire in, so I came to have it installed. The first time they ended up installing the incorrect tires, not the special order tires I wanted. That was a 2 hour wait to get those put on. I didnt notice until a day later, so I ended up coming a 2nd time and had another 1 hour wait to finally get the correct tires installed. Not sure I will ever come to this location again, but just make sure they put on the tires you actually purchased. read more

So I had an appointment at 12 pm, and any other discount tire if you set an appointment at that time you are right next in line. So long story short they went ahead, and sold me the 2 tires that I wanted. But they didn't tell me or ask my permission to charge for extra stuff they just assumed that I wanted it. Then I went back and told this guy named Dustin that I didn't ask for the insurance I didn't want it. So he told this guy named Juan that I wanted a refund and they giggled like little girls. The worst discounts tire ever been to. So now just because of this bad experience I will never come to this one ever again. And I don't even yelp :/ read more

I want to give a big shoutout to Jonathon. The previous day I had been made aware of my low tire tread during my annual inspection. With a trip out-of-town planned for Friday at 1:30pm I needed to move fast. I consulted with Jonathon on the phone and made a decision to get four Michelin Defender 2's for my SUV. Unfortunately, they were not in stock at the local store or close by. Jonathon contacted the warehouse but they could not confirm that they were in stock. He also located them in Katy and made arrangements to have them couriered to Spring. Due to a shipping error they were sent to the wrong store. Jonathon used his own truck and got them for me and returned to the store at 11:15. I had set a 11:45 deadline to get them mounted to stay on schedule with my trip. Within 30 minutes they had replaced all four tires and I was on my way! Again, thank you, Jonathon, for going above and beyond for me. Discount will be my tire store for life! read more

Would not recommend, this is the second time I have come and I've had to wait more then the time said. The first time I waited 3 hours; just because they forgot to tell me my car was ready. The second time I have been waiting 1 1/2 and my car has not even made it in the pit and many people that came after me already went; I only need a tire changed. Every time I get my tire pressure done here I always have to come back the next day to do it again because they either didn't do all the tires or didn't do them all the way.while I sit and wait for my car they have employees playing around, fake fighting in the pit; very unprofessional. read more

Unfortunately discount does accurately describe this store. The quality of the work is definitely discounted..... I think these guys work hard and have the best intentions, but for some reason they fall short. Everyone is extremely nice and courteous, eager to assist. Unfortunately, I find myself returning to have the work redone or fixed. I am starting to think it is something lacking in training. I have similar experiences at all location. For instance, we have high pressure metal valve stem caps on our vehicle. Every time we either are missing a cap when we get the car back or the caps are so loose that they would have fallen off as soon as we drove away if we had not tightened them first. The prices are good and like I said, nice staff. Just know that you may have to double check their work. read more

If you stop by this discount the team is really stepping up their game by communicating to customers as their vehicle moved through the process. I would like to say a big thank you to Sergio. Then went above and beyond to ensure the work was done properly. read more

Staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable. I have had a very pleasant experience every time I visit this location.

I showed up before opening and stood at the door 15 minutes before opening. Another 4 or 5 patrons joined me. The team did not wait until 8 o'clock to open their doors. They all poured out of there and started serving the client. This is a sign of great leadership!! Putting the client above personal interest. I will be revisiting this location! read more

The service at this location was amazing! Admitted, I'm entirely clueless when it comes to anything car related, but educated myself before going to pick up 4 new tires. They got me the best deal & even upgraded my tires and adjusted the price due to not having the cheaper option in stock. Wait time was minimum, I felt taken care of & informed. Everyone I shared my experience with after reassured me I got away with a steal! Thank you! read more

Eek! Methinks not. Went to Discount Tire 06-19-2020 for a low air tire pressure light showing in my vehicle, actually a flat tire. The worker told me they could not fix my tire because I drove on it & they did not have my tire in store. So I asked them if they would put my spare tire on & they said it was to old. I called AAA they came & put my spare on, said nothing was wrong with it, all this in Discount Tire parking lot. Discount Tire told me they had a tire that would cost $240. Went to Firestone about a block away, they fixed my tire & said it was just a small hole & I would not have any problems with it, no charge. I don't understand how businesses can be so unscrupulous. For those interested it was at 2920 & Kuykendhal. The three guys whom I interacted with sat there watching everything. God forbid if that happens to any of your family members. read more
