Without someone having to convince me that they feel "I am not safe in my vehicles and should consider purchasing larger tires" on my SUV to have them ALL replaced. No Gracias! As I arrived to Mateo's I shared how I know I need to replace one for sure and if he thinks I need more I was willing to have them replaced (Which I just bought 2 a couple months ago). Mateo said I only needed that one and he had it in stock! (YAY!) I gave him my key lock and he immediately started working on my tire since it indeed needed to be changed. The work was done in about 10 minutes WOW! I was impressed! He was nice, courteous and professional. I appreciate a straight-forward business that respects a woman despite my lack on tire knowledge. When they make a mistake they take ZERO accountability, ultimately blaming YOU for their mistake. I went in for a tire replacement. I wasn't driving the vehicle that needed the replacement. I took off my wheel/tire and took it to them. Before taking it off I saw and knew my rim had ZERO damage. I even have PICTURES!!!! Then after he replaced my tire I took it to my stranded car and it was then that I noticed my rim was pretty scratched up. My car is a 2025 and these rims are NOT CHEAP so I had to go tell them what they did. I was as calm as a person can be that was wronged . They didn't want to accept that they damaged my rim when I gave them the evidence that my rim was NOT DAMAGED before them yet they still argued and argued with me to no end. DO NOT GO HERE. This is the second time Mario & Sons Tire Shop has saved me big $$$$…read more I have sport tires that apparently puncture by anything and everything. First it was a nail, then it was a metal stick, the third time was a screw... (((Initially, I went to a big tire store to see what they could do for me. They wanted to replace the tires right away; all four tires. They don't patch or plug them; the only good, reasonable and helpful thing they did was air up my tire for free to hold me over until I got to Mario & Sons. Big tire shops are a rip off))) The first time, I had two punctured tires and my car had only 18k miles. I kept getting a low pressure warning on my dash board, and I just kept adding air until that didn't work anymore. They checked for air leaks and only one puncture was leaking air and could be patched. He removed the tire and patched it up. The non leaking puncture was in a place that could not be fixed, I told them to leave it in as long as it wasn't causing any problems. I was out of there in 20 mins and paid like $10. This second time around, I woke up to a flat tire. My car had 21k miles; we added air and went to Mario's to get it checked out. It was the same tire that was patched last time, so I thought IT was leaking; it wasn't, it was a screw. They pulled it out, smoothed it out, and added a plug. Again, it took like 20 mins, in and out, and I paid $10. Each tire costs upwards of $150 depending where I go. And I would have had to replace 4 tires by now. Two the first time and two this time, so they are even and balanced. I can't say enough about this tire shop. They are very honest, helpful, and the service is fast (as long as there's not a lot of customers before you). I will definitely be coming here for quick fixes.
