I've been dealing with my TPMS light being on for a full year and no joke, this is the first shop that actually fixed it. I had already taken it somewhere else and they put in an OEM replacement sensor that I bought online myself for them to install, and the light STILL stayed on. It was really frustrating. So I came to Rayford Tire Shop originally because I had a nail in one of my back tires that was way too big to patch. I figured I'd need both rear tires done. The owner looks at it and goes "nah man you really only need the one." Like who actually does that instead of just taking your money? I was about to just get the one done but then he shows me the other tire is cupping really bad. I checked it out myself and yeah he was right, it was pretty obvious once I looked. So I'm like alright let's do both then. He brings out two used tires that are in really good shape, almost new, and they're actually a better brand than what I originally had on there. Then we get to the TPMS issue. The owner figures out in maybe 10 minutes that the sensor my computer was saying was bad wasn't even the actual broken one, AND it was mismatched in the system somehow. He had the right sensor, installed it, then spent close to an hour on the phone with a technician going through the TPMS relearn to get it reset properly. No one else could figure this out but he stuck with it until it worked. Now my light's actually off. He also told me I need a rear alignment but they don't do alignments there. Instead of just leaving it at that he told me exactly where to go and made sure to specify just the rear wheels, not all four, so I'm not wasting money on what I don't need. Prices were solid. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They try to charge you depending on the car, also try to nickel and dime you for everything. They don't have set prices. Just go off what they want to say that day. read more

George (who i think is the owner) was AMAZING !!! i came with a fast leak and also wanting a brand new set of tires. Price was great, George put a spare on my car to replace the leaking one until the next day when the tires arrived because i didn't have a spare and needed to get around. that alone was above and beyond , i've never had a tire shop so that for me! The next day George did call me and informed me my rim was what was causing my leak and went out of his way and took it to someone he knows to see what we can do. another above and beyond moment. In the end i got my rim fixed, tires on and was on my way. i also willingly decided to come on here and write a review for George, this was ABOVE AND BEYOND CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!! no shop has ever done this for me before, i will continue to come back as needed AND will always refer anybody i know to here. check the size of your tires before you leave. they put 4 different sized tires on my teenage sons car and he had a complete blow out. you never think to have to check the sizes of the tires when getting tires but I was supposed to have 215 and I had 205, 225, 235 and one 215. Used this place for a while, my mom recommended them to me til she found out they stripped her lugnuts. I remembered her advice and just needed a new tire last minute, went to Walmart and their mechanic let me know ALL of my lugnuts were stripped. They've also dropped my car so hard they broke my tire sensor. Watch for the younger guys here if you go. read more

Went in for two rear tires only one was to my liking, so I went to another tire shop to buy the other one. Once there I noticed that two of my center wheel caps were missing. I immediately called Jorge to let him know and he said he was going to check with his people and let me know. After two hours he called to tell me they did not have them. These things cost $65.00 ea on amazon so the tire cost me $60.00 and $130.00 to replace the caps not a very good deal! You need to watch these people very closely and fully check their work before you leave the premises! read more

My wife had a blowout on the Hardy Toll rd a few days ago on her way home from work one evening after they had already been closed. We had the car towed there where they let us keep it there overnight for no charge. The next morning when I drove up there to pay for the tire the car was already done! I really didn't expect that. So then I had to go back to my wife's work to pick her up to go pick up her car. When we got there the manager (Jorge) also mentioned that 2 other tires were in bad shape. We explained to him that we are having severe financial problems because of everything going on, and he gave us a huge discount that we could afford. They had the car ready in less than 15 minutes. We are so grateful for this place. I would recommend this place to everybody. read more

Went here to get air for my tires and they told me $4. I told them I don't have any cash and asked if I could use my debit card. The owner said no problem. Then after he runs my card, he said it would be $5. After a raised a stink, he gave me a dollar bill. Then when I got home, I realized they stole my chrome valve caps and replaced them with plastic ones. I would NOT recommend these guys even for the simplest issues. read more

The shop closes at 3 and I arrived there a little after 2. The employee told me that we're closing, I asked him to only do one tire, which would only take 5 or 10 minutes. I came from Church. I'm a preacher and a manager of local business, which I expected better. I will never go back. I hate whinney mouth complaining customers over petty stuff. However, I am writing this review, because it wasn't even closing time, and the employee just wanted to shut down so that he could go home early or atleast on time. Employees like this make me feel that they hate their job and hate dealing with people. There are plenty of people who need jobs in America, especially with the unemployment rate. If you don't like your job or don't want to work, then quit, don't take it out on the customers who are paying for your services. This is ridiculous, the employee should be written up for how badly he handled this situation. I felt that if I were some fancy rich Woodlands white guy driving a Mercedes, I wouldn't have been treated like this. However, I'm a black guy driving a used Honda with a few scratches. read more

Great tire shop located on Rayford Road next to the Valero gas station. They have a lot of new and used tires for a great price! Second time here for used tires, and they always do a quick job. I have been using this tire shop for years. I purchased a tire on Saturday morning and by Tuesday morning I was on a flat. I went back They sold me a tire that was plugged then they removed the plug and patched it. I was charged 10 dollars for them to fix the tire that they sold me. I made it to work an hour away and my tire was flat again. I went to another tire shop they told me that they had indeed patched the tire several times but the patch was gone and the area that they were patching was illegal. I end up spending more money to purchase a new tire WATCH OUT IT MIGHT HAPPEN TO YOU. I took the tire back and the guy gave me my money back the next day read more

I had communicated with them starting on Tues. They had 3 tires in stock but on Fri they had sold all 3 and only had 1, which was not any of the pics he sent me. I decided to get my spare mounted and replace the bad tire. What I didn't know was spare was 15 yrs old and should never be used or it could come apart and cause damage. $35 wasted, I should have gone to Discount Tire. They sell used tires also. read more

I have been here 3 times this month alone. These guys have saved my life (probably literally, considering) every single time. I go on my lunch break, fortunately they are right down the road, and they always have what I need. They've replaced and repaired tires on both of my vehicles. They are very affordable, and everyone there is super friendly. And honest! When it comes to car anything I'm always a little concerned I'll be taken advantage of, but not these guys. And even though half the time they are quite busy, and there's just 1 guy, they work very efficiently. There is no waiting area in the shop and not many parking spots, but they make it work anyway and, like I said before, there's not usually much of a wait.
