I got there and the manager Juan started with the process of getting the car checked in, at first there were no issue until he brought it up that the tires were due for change cause they were at low depth, so I went onto ask him how much the new tires would cost just for the front wheels and he gave me a quote and I was to think about it, however, upon inspecting the tires, they were found to have more damage than just a low tread depth and since I have a warrant certificate I opted to use it, but Juan being agitated that I changed my mind from buying the new tires and I wanted to use the certificate he started saying oh now you want free tires... I told him if the certificate covers my tires due to any road damages why would I not use it and that's why I bought it with the tires, I explained to him that he was not doing me a favor, and this was a service that I needed and I was qualified to use especially after, he was trying to say that my car cannot leave the shop until it is repaired. We went back-and-forth with him trying because he was trying to say say that the warranty does not cover the tires when they are below 3/32 trade depth however, my tires were showing a different depth compared to what he was arguing about and his aim was just to sell me new tires and yet I could use my warranty certificate having bought the tires from Discount Tire. He finally agreed to replace both of them, but insisted that they will not be covered by a warrant certificate again which is false because every new tire comes with an option to buy or not to buy a warrant certificate, of which I have always been willing to pay extra for the certificate upon purchasing new tires. He insisted that I've had more than five (5) tires repaired, which was also false too. He just has a know it all attitude, which is very dismissive and would not want to be challenged. Very disappointing... and would definitely not want to go back to that store.

In my experience, they performed an extremely poor brake job on my 2013 Honda that put my family in serious danger. Shortly after the service, the brakes were clearly not functioning properly, and the situation nearly resulted in a tragic accident involving my son. No parent should ever have to wonder if a repair shop cut corners on something as critical as brakes. That wasn't the end of it. They also worked on a 2018 Audi and caused additional damage to the tire and suspension. The car was NOT in that condition before it was brought to them. When the issues were brought to their attention, it was obvious they knew something went wrong, but instead of taking accountability or attempting to fix the problem, they became defensive and unprofessional. What really shocked me was how they handled it after that. Rather than resolving the issue like a responsible business, they escalated the situation and called the police instead of addressing the damage they caused. This shop showed a complete lack of integrity, accountability, and concern for customer safety. Mistakes can happen, but how a business responds says everything--and this response was unacceptable. I strongly urge neighbors to think twice before trusting this shop with your vehicle. Brakes, tires, and suspension are not cosmetic issues. They are life-or-death systems. Buyer beware.

I prefer a small, local business with friendly, honest people. Trout Tire is that place. I had a double blowout and was stranded in New Caney. GOOGLE showed NTB and WalMart and Trout Tire within 1-2 miles. NTB was closing and declined to service my needs with no concern for my being stranded 2 hours from home. Walmart did not have the sizes I needed in stock nor was the auto department open. My sister and I got a hotel room and ordered tires online that night and had them delivered to Trout Tire to have them installed. They did a great job, very quickly, I might add, called when said they would, and did not create any additional damage like some other places. As I waited for my tires/car I watched customers come in, get serviced, and leave with no hassle. No shucking, no jiving, no hemming and hawing. This cozy, friendly shop out performed NTB AND WalMart, both national chains. It's like witnessing David defeat Goliath! They turned my unfortunate mishap into a manageable, affordable, and tolerable experience. I thank you, Trout Tire Family, and may God continue to bless you all.
