This trailer and tire company is an amazing business! I went in with my food trailer, which it had been raining, and stated that my trailer lights weren't working. The lady said it might be a few hours as they were short handed. I said I really need it to be fixed because my wife and I had an event we had to work in a few hours. While sitting in my truck a young man came up and asked me what is the problem. I again reiterated my problem. He told me to pull into the huge Bay Area he proceeded to work on my lights and them fixed in 5- minutes!! Awesome I told him!! This guy took the initiative and fixed my lights. This place doesn't deserve even a 1 star. They are crooks who take advantage of people who can't defend themselves. My 73 year old neighbor took his pickup down there for repairs. When he picked it up after completion, they had it parked with the passenger side parked against the fence. He got home with it Friday night. On Saturday morning, he noticed the front passenger side was wrecked. Bumper crushed and reflector hanging down. He noticed the passenger side sun visor was down and the moon roof shade was closed; things he doesn't normally do. So he took the truck back down there. The owner told him that no one drove his truck, and since he didn't see it before he took it, they were not responsible. My neighbor pointed out to the owner that they purposely parked it against the fence so he wouldn't see it. Beware of these crooks. Any business that would take advantage of senior citizens are just about as nasty as you get. read more

We purchased a trailer in Texas and were hauling back to Florida. Went here to get it checked over and all 4 bearings were bad on the trailer. We were very stressed as we were on a time crunch. Curtis came to our rescue and although he had a ton of trailers backed up for work (very busy shop which shows that it is a good place!) he offered to get it done for us within the hour. I was informed when I got there Monday morning that because some of their employees had not showed up that my vehicle may have to stay there overnight because they may not be able to get to it that day. They assured me that they had a facility down the road that it could be locked in. I callEd my husband to make sure that he was OK with that because it is a new 2022 3500 Ram Dually still with paper tags. He said all right just let them know that it's a brand new truck doesn't have a scratch on it. When I called at 4:30 that afternoon to find out if it was done they said no. I said OK so you are locking it up because like I said it is brand new and it does not have any scratches they assured me that yes it was going to be locked up. Well the next day they called and said it was done. When I went up there I looked it over and there was a scratch on the hood. It wasn't a bad scratch probably just in the clearcoat probably buff out easy enough all I wanted to do was bring it to their attention. So I talk to them about it. I'm assuming he was the manager said he would come out and look at it. Before we even got out the door he was accusing me of lying and trying to "get one over on them" and his reasoning was because I had mentioned it was a brand new truck and didn't have any scratches on it that obviously I was setting it up to try to get one over on them. So this review is not about Trout tire as much as it is about an employee who is extremely rude. I'm not saying that that kind of thing couldn't happen but it wasn't happening in this instance. But For him to automatically start accusing me of things was totally uncalled for and like I said extremely rude. read more

I've never been one to go off on every little business I come across but the people at Trout's will absolutely knock your socks off. The customer service is on point, they have the best prices in town (yes, even over Discount Tire) and their waiting area is pretty dang cool. I'll explain. I have had a bout of bad luck with tires lately, meaning all 5 crapped out on me in the same week and that's including my donut. With a lucky reserve of tires I've had waiting for a rainy day in my garage I headed to the place my husband is constantly raving about. I went there 3 times in 1 week. Each time they got me in and out with no problems and charged me a small fee for tire disposal (no $20 per tire change here thank god). I even called in advance one day to make sure they could take care of me during a lunch break. During your short wait you sit in the waiting area that is filled with vintage telephones and I mean FILLED. They also play CMT on a small tv off to the side, which is not a personal favorite but it breaks up the silence and we are in Texas so I must tolerate. Fantastic job gentleman, if ever anyone be in need I will send them your way.. I'll see ya in a few weeks for my alignment :) read more

I have a 5th Wheel Grand Design Reflection needed bearings repacked and new tires mounted. Got there on a Wed. morning at 8:15 am and was on the road less than hour later. This place is definitely a throwback! Excellent customer service (a rarity these days), attentive employees, and an awesome collection of yesteryear's technology. I prefer a small, local business with friendly, honest people. Trout Tire is that place. I had a double blowout and was stranded in New Caney. GOOGLE showed NTB and WalMart and Trout Tire within 1-2 miles. NTB was closing and declined to service my needs with no concern for my being stranded 2 hours from home. Walmart did not have the sizes I needed in stock nor was the auto department open. My sister and I got a hotel room and ordered tires online that night and had them delivered to Trout Tire to have them installed. They did a great job, very quickly, I might add, called when said they would, and did not create any additional damage like some other places. As I waited for my tires/car I watched customers come in, get serviced, and leave with no hassle. No shucking, no jiving, no hemming and hawing. This cozy, friendly shop out performed NTB AND WalMart, both national chains. It's like witnessing David defeat Goliath! They turned my unfortunate mishap into a manageable, affordable, and tolerable experience. I thank you, Trout Tire Family, and may God continue to bless you all. Trout was my third stop in trying to get a proper front end alignment. The tech. did a test drive twice to make sure it was right. The steering wheel is clocked properly on the freeway and I can let go of the wheel at 70mph with no drama. Still cruises straight after two years of Houston's pot holes. On a different occasion, my trailer wiring and connector was having problems. Trout was on it within minutes after I arrived and had me on my way in less than one hour. read more
