I was looking for covered storage for my 40' RV and saw they not only sell trailers, but they have covered storage. I was also planning on looking to see if they had any 16' enclosed trailers on their lot as I am looking to purchase one, but I never got that far. I turned in by the building and circled behind it just hoping to be able to see how large their sites are, I didn't want to waste anyone's time if they didn't have sites large enough to accommodate my rv. I thought I had turned into the wrong entrance but saw a gate open that led to the storage area, so I slowly drove through and circled past their covered storage area. They seem to have some that would be large enough, if any are available, so I intended to go in and ask for information and hopefully rent a spot. When I got back to the place I entered, the gate was closed. I figured at that point that I was probably not supposed to go through there so i pulled up to what appeared to be the exit, that gate was also closed, but couldn't leave. I saw a man standing by the first gate, so I backed up and got out to explain what I was doing and find out which way I should go to get back to the building entrance. As soon as I got the words out of my mouth "I was checking to see what your covered storage looks like" the man interrupted me yelling "Yeah! That's called TRESSPASSING!" I again said that I was looking for covered storage for my rv and didn't see a sign that said to stop and check in first. He then yelled asking if I didn't see the sign that says Countryside Trailers and Storage. I said I did, but no sign saying to enter first. He again began yelling that I was trespassing, so I asked him if he wanted to call the police. He then, still yelling, told me to get off his property. I got heated then and yelled back that I'd be happy to, that I wouldn't buy anything from them, or rent from them now anyway. We had a heated exchanged in which he threated to "whip my ass" as he pointed his finger in my face. This could have been easily avoided if he'd just explained they don't want people just driving through for the security of their customer who store their rv there. I can understand that and would have simply apologized, but he never gave me the chance. I don't know if he's the owner, the manager or what...but he absolutely has no business dealing with people if that's how he approaches them. Maybe they've had a theft problem before, I don't know. But I was there, in broad daylight, driving my personal truck SLOWLY through the storage area. It wouldn't have been a very smart way to try to steal. Edit: I'd like to add that I have purchased a utility trailer here several years ago. It is still in good shape, except for the decking which is to be expected. My complaint is not with the quality of their product, but with the approach and treatment by the white haired man who decided the need to turn a simple mistake into a heated conflict. read more

I had the worst customer experience of my life here today. I had a reservation for a week for a trip I was taking this weekend, they said I needed a major credit card, ID, and trailer break controller. First, they wouldn't accept my Apple Card (the physical MasterCard) because "it didn't have numbers" which is insane. It is a standard major credit card. Then they wouldn't accept my debit card. Next, they wouldn't accept the credit card of the person that was taking the entire trip with me, even if we were to completely put it in their name. All of this is somewhat understandable, (with the exception of the Apple Card, again not Apple Pay, the physical MasterCard with the chip and the swipe). The worst of it is the owners. She interrupted my conversation with the person I was talking to numerous times, over something about a 21 year old, No idea. She did not care at all about my problem, even though my entire weekend was planned around this. We could have worked something out where I paid for the trailer in full as a deposit, but she did not care. unfortunately I lost my cool over her unbelievable attitude as I've never been treated like this, ever. We get there and are looking around the trailer. A salesman comes out to assist us. He said he was going inside to get a final estimate and then comes back out and told us the trailer sold while he was outside assisting us.. We called when they opened and I called again when we were on the way to let them know we were almost there and they sell it out from under us basically. Didn't suggest or tell me to inspect a rental trailer before taking it. Sent me out of state with a bad tire (wouldn't hold air and had separating tread internally). I had to buy a tire for $150 and they told me even if I hadn't had to buy a tire they would have charged me for the bad tire they sent the trailer out on. They clearly don't inspect their trailers before renting them. Very unsafe!!! Worst customer service I've had in a long time. Have rented from them before with no issues but will NEVER rent or buy anything from them EVER again. I'll make sure everyone I come across knows their shenangins. read more

Bought a 5x10 cargo trailer and when we got it home the keys to the side door were not in there. They said they were and would not help to get me the keys. They basically called us a liar. Asked them to get me the key and they told me we had to call the manufacturer. They wouldn't call them for us or help us in any way to get us our keys. One truly finds out about a company when you have a problem. I bought a used trailer (excellent condition) from Countryside in Mar. '18 with a spare tire. In 2020 I damaged a wheel on the trailer and tried to mount the spare onto the trailer - it would not fit. The trailer had a 5 on 4-1/2 lug pattern, while the spare had a 5 on 5 lug pattern. I went to Countryside wanting to buy (replace) the damaged wheel and wanting to swap out the incorrect wheel. They would not do anything for me (talked to 2 salespeople; one wasn't working there when I bought the trailer). After they talked to the Mgr. I was told since my purchase was 2 years ago, all they would do is sell me 2 new wheels. What does one do with a spare tire? Leave it mounted until it is needed, of course. If it doesn't fit; well you have a problem! I said I wanted to speak with the person who had made this decision (the second salesperson gave the managers name as Jack - he had only been there such a short time he didn't know the last name). Well I called back and left a message for Jack the manager and still have not been shown the courtesy of a return call! In my opinion this is truly CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S WORST! Loadtrail makes a very good trailer, but Countryside does not sell behind what they sell. I for one will never spend another cent with these people and will warn anyone else not to do business with them. I NOW WISH I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT A RANCH KING TRAILER FROM TRAILER WHEEL & FRAME! read more

Don't rent car hauler from this outfit. Brakes don't work, rubbed fender well with tire and they charged an extra $100. They are in the business of renting trailers and charging for repairs. If they want to increase rental revenue they should just build wear and tear into the up front rental price instead of bait and switch. Be sure to inspect everything before leaving the lot and if it looks least bit off make note of it. Manager asked if they made the repair from last time so it was obviously impaired from the last rental. Will go elsewhere in the future. read more

Unprofessional - The employees refused to complete work on the trailer lights that were ordered by the manufacturer. Because the lights were still under warranty (1 wk old trailer) the manufacturer ordered the repairs. The employees told us they would not make the repairs and suggested we needed to buy a truck. Unbelieveably baaaad service.......and waste of time. read more

Do not buy trailers from them unless you have money to burn. After six months the roof started coming undone, the front metal blew off and then the suspension on the back door they quoted me $3000 to fix on a $4000 trailer and now a year and almost a half after buying new while driving our roof completely came off as well as the fender. And no it's not abused it is just junk and not put together well after owning 4-5 trailers this is buy far the worst trailer we have ever had. Never had issues with our others just don't buy from countryside they don't care about you after they have your money. Tried calling manufacturer and manager, no return call from manager and manufacturer said it should have never been sold to me for daily use and is only intended to use occasionally for a year. Dealership sales man although nice stated oh we don't carry them anymore but now I'm stuck with a trailer I can't use. read more

I took a trailer in to be repaired that included a new tailgate and lights. The interactions were personable, but we should have spent more time being specific on what repairs were expected. The tailgate was repaired as expected. We discussed the lights but not only did they repair the lights they re- wired the whole trailer( not requested). They only replaced the main lights but none of the marker lights that were discussed. Was quoted $470 final bill$537. So be specific so you get what you want and don't have to pay for work you don't want. read more
