During the sales process, I was told the RV had no mechanical issues, no water leaks, and no prior damage. I was also charged a $799 vehicle preparation fee, which I understood meant the coach had been inspected and was ready for use. Within the first use of the RV, multiple significant issues surfaced: The driver-side slide would not retract properly (this issue was already present at pickup) The rooftop AC system caused water to pour into the interior through vents and speakers The dash AC system was not working and has since been diagnosed with a failed evaporator requiring replacement (~$2,400 repair) A rear oil leak appeared immediately after returning home Further inspection revealed prior fiberglass structural repair that was not disclosed at the time of sale These are not minor issues -- they are material defects that either existed at delivery or were not disclosed. To date, I've incurred and been quoted several thousand dollars in repairs. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this directly with the dealership and provided detailed documentation, invoices, and photos. No meaningful resolution was offered. As a result, I have filed a complaint with the Texas DMV. I understand that used RVs are sold as-is, but that does not excuse inaccurate representations or undisclosed material issues. At a minimum, buyers should not assume a vehicle has been properly inspected simply because a "prep fee" is charged. My advice to anyone considering Top Choice RV: Get an independent inspection before purchase Personally verify every major system Do not rely on verbal representations I would not make this purchase again.

My car had just been smashed in a hit & run, so had to go to the body shop. Meanwhile, my Mom's old car had stopped running and needed to be towed for repairs. Caring for a cancer patient at home, by myself, I was really worried about how to get through everything. Naturally, I called AAA - that's what I pay them for, right? But $400 for a 28-mile tow?! And my insurance co.'s roadside asstc. quote was even higher! I had a bent will on my camper. I was trying to find a little tire shop that repaired a wheel for…read moreme last year but it was closed due to the whole COVID-19 deal. I drove a little farther and saw Trout Trailer. it is one of those little places that you drive by a hundred times and don't really notice. But it is exactly what I needed. The tech said he would try to bend the wheel back into shape and see if it would hold the tire but that failed. When I asked if they had a replacement wheel they did. And it was only 40 bucks plus tire installation. exactly matches the other wheels on my camper and I was out the door and rolling in about 20 minutes. They sell trailers, repair trailers, fix wheels and tires on trailers, and can fix trailer brakes electrical parts etc. when it's time for me to get my trailer brakes worked on I am definitely coming back. I was pleased to do business with them.

Later I discovered that every AC component had been replaced except the actuators -- which turned out to be the actual problem. They also did my leaf springs and reinstalled the shocks, but failed to bolt the bottom bolts down. A brake chamber was installed incorrectly, with the brake hose rubbing on the frame. This eventually caused the hose to break, leading to a roadside breakdown. The problem I see here is a lack of attention to detail and rushing through jobs without truly diagnosing the issues. I also dealt with a third-party warranty company that required the shop's business license and certified mechanic certificates. The shop promised to provide these but never did. They kept saying their mechanics were certified but refused to prove it to the #Warranty company. I expected more -- especially since they always claimed they would "look after me" as a customer. In the end, when I pressed for the documentation, they simply said, "We don't have to'
