The store manager, Dexter, and associate Arianna were extremely helpful, patient and kind. They matched any competitors price on items. The service I had requested, was the purchase of new tires and wheels. The store had plenty of customers to service but they treated everyone individually with no rush in requested service or discussion of needs. I bought tires Yokahoma tires (60,000 mile warranty) and only have 26,000 miles on them. I had a tire with a slow leak, losing about 10 psi a day. I went to Discount to get fixed as it is under warranty and the mechanic said he could not find anything wrong with the tire but put a new valve stem on it just in case. They also told me my tire tread was low and that I needed new tires. I didn't get new tires and I left. The next morning I woke up and tire is low again. This time I went to a different tire shop and found a nail in the tire in a matter of minutes. They took tire off and put it in a tub of water and could see the leak clear as day as the technician showed me. I paid 25 dollars and had it fixed. They also told me my tire tread depth was fine. I went back to Discount and told them what happened and showed them the receipt. I didn't want money, I just wanted them to do the job right. I told them I would not be back and I will never do business with Discount again. If their technician cannot find a basic leak, I don't want them touching my cars. read more

Made an appointment online. Upon arriving, they check everyone in via curbside while you're in your car. When they're ready for you, they'll walk up to your car and let you know. Amazing service and Value of safety and customer satisfaction. I went in for a flat/slow leak, come to find out my service was much more than that. Nathan C. Took care of me and was so professional and kind. He walked me through what he found while doing his inspection and discussed with me my options. After discussing with him that I'm a disabled military veteran and on a fixed income, I told him it would be a few months for me to be able to get this resolved. When I say his response overwhelmed me with gratitude, I've never been given the appreciation and respect as he did today. Came out of Black Bear Diner, and when I started my truck, my low tire pressure light came on. I got out to look, and sure enough I had a screw in my tire. My coworker, who I had diner with said, there's a Discount Tire just up the road, it was 5:35 pm and they close at 6:00 pm. I drove up the road and arrived at 5:45 pm. There were two customers ahead of me and I thought, they are not going to be able to help me tonight. At 5:55 pm I stepped up to the counter and the young man asked if he could help me. I told him what was going on and he said, let's go take a look. We walked out and looked at the tire, then went back in the store. About that time, the manager locked the door, and the young man said, we will take care of your tire. I was shocked, handed him my keys and began Thanking God. As I sat there in shock, I realized that they were playing KSBJ in the store which is a Christian radio station, it was an amazing experience. About 6:20 pm, another young man walked in and said your truck is ready. He said they broke down the tire, repaired it, and changed out my valve stem / sensor. All of this was absolutely FREE. I have been using Discount / American Tire for as long as I can remember. They always offer great service, their staff is always friendly, and the free air checks, flat repair, and tire rotation-balance, is a Great American business concept. I visited Discount Tire for a new set of tires for new rims I bought for my 1997 Mercedes S320. I was leaving for a weekend out of town the next day and they didn't have the tires; Josh was so helpful that he offered to hold the rims until I get back to the states. He can tell that I really wanted them and he made sure that they would be mounted and ready when I returned from my vacation. A few days later I was back from Peru and I drove to Discount Tire and there it was: the tires and rims all ready to go on the car. I think customer service is important and these guys excelled at this during my recent visit. I visited their store on a typically busy Saturday without an appointment. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and a service advisor promptly inspected my vehicle tires and provided me options. My vehicle and its four new tires was ready for pick-up inside of 2 hours. I received a text message when it was ready and a service advisor even called me shortly thereafter to make sure I knew. While I was in the store I noticed that customers in line waiting to speak to a service advisor moved quickly. I'm sure this is part of Discount Tire's culture and there definitely is something to be said for sticking to what you do best and not attempting to provide a host of complimentary services that require more time to navigate with each customer before a course of action can be agreed upon. Lastly, while I was engaging in some small talk with my service advisor, he shared with me that he was celebrating his 21st anniversary with Discount Tire. Very friendly & respectful staff. This particular location is always super packed. The wait time is normally long. There is a mall across the highway so if you are up to a personal game of Frogger, then knock yourself out. There is also a Joes Crab Shack, Saltgrass, Chilis & Ashley's furniture store to help you pass the wait time here. If you play your cards right, you may be able to find a comfy seat to fall asleep in while at the furniture store.
