Instead, while speaking with Melanie, she told me to stop by before 12:30 PM and I should be out the same day. I was given a window of about five hours, but she called within two hours instead. Wow! Talk about fast! Additionally, I was told that $200 was the payment due, which I was totally okay with. Well, imagine my surprise when she then reached back out to let me know that was a mistake and instead I only owed $120! Wow! Unfortunately, I was across town and wasn't sure if I could make it before closing (6PM). No problem! They kept my car overnight and I was able to return the next morning. My car looked good as new and I drove off with happy, good looking rims. Again, I want to stress how awesome Melanie and this business truly is. Especially in terms of payment. She could've easily allowed me to pay $200 and I wouldn't have known any better. It says a lot that she reached back out to explain that she made a mistake and instead I only owed $120. Long story short, my tire was deflated due to my wheel was cracked & discovered shortly thereafter bent as well. My vehicle had to be towed to this spot just to give you an idea how I was in bad shape.. Any who, at first the manager due to the time allotted told me it was too late to work on my wheel, however thankful he had a change of heart. Shot out to the tall young guy with the tatts!! He saved my wheel & welded it.. He was very professional & congenial. Dope customer service as he squeezed me in.. was damn near in tears as I couldn't drive on that wheel nor tire. They are careful not to waste your time and money. They fix what is needed. They do the job right the first time and don't upsell! The 3 things they fixed on my car were all sins committed by other shops and dealers. G&S fixed it for 1/4 the price the dealer wanted just to look at it. It was a bunch of annoying noises that worried me. When G&S looked at it, they found that another local shop failed to reattach a shock absorber during a prior repair! Yikes. G&S did so well on my car that I asked if they could send a mechanic out to replace a couple of dead batteries in my RV. OMG ... They do local emergency road service too! The dead batteries in my RV were caused by a Cummins shop certified in motorhomes. During that repair, the Cummins shop failed to turn off the battery cut offs. I called to remind them. I wrote a note on the work order. Despite being told exactly what to do, they repeatedly failed to turn them off everyday over 7 days. If you take a battery to 0V too many times, it's a paperweight. G&S came out and replaced dead batteries in my RV and they were 30% less than the next nearest mechanic! Both vehicles are running fantastic! Okay ... I cannot say enough good things about these folks. Honestly, bringing my cars to G&S is the first time I felt a Texas auto shop was straight with me.

Come to find out that I had a nail in my tire that they patched for free (warranty) and if it couldn't be patched, they would have replaced it for free.
