After wasting money at another mechanic for a Service B on my Mercedes, I started having a few issues. On to way to work one morning, my car started acting crazy, lights flashing, jerking, etc. I freaked out and immediately started making phone calls to local mechanics on Yelp. This was a Monday morning; every other mechanic wanted me to make an appointment for the following week. I didn't have that kind of time to waste. Called Autobahn and was able to take my vehicle in immediately! I received the results of the diagnostic by early afternoon that day and the next day my vehicle was like brand new. Excellent service from Tom at Autobahn. I took my 2020 Range Rover in for an oil change and not only did they use a better quality oil and oil filter than Range Rover would have used, they also had me in and out within 30 minutes. Most importantly, the cost was $100 less than the Range Rover dealer. Tom was knowledgeable and passionate about European cars which was also wonderful to see. I'll be going here from now on. I'd like to recommend this company for anyone that owns a European vehicle. It's hard to find people that are trust worthy , have the right equipment and know what they are doing with foreign vehicles. They specialize only in the European cars, and will get your vehicle running right. Tom, one of the long time employees, was very helpful and reassuring with all this. Autobahn Werke in Humble has done work on my wife's VW CC a couple of times and I have nothing but praise for them. I felt the need to post a review based on my last experience. Christan Brothers Automotive in Atascacita diagnosed the CC with a warped upper timing belt cover that needed replaced at a cost of just under $1,000.00, as the tech called me back for the quote, I was online pricing parts when he told me the part was just under $600.00. in actuality the OEM part from the dealer was $209.00 and after market was as low as $40.00 to $129.00, they were using an aftermarket one, which was fine with me. When I told the tech the prices I found and that I would pick the car up he said he found it for $200.00 less. I wanted to leave a review for this shop because I was so impressed. I actually manage a shop in California and specialize in European vehicle diagnosis. I have an associates degree in Automotive Technology. Volkswagen gave me a scholarship to go to their manufacturer training program for a full year, I went on to become "Electrical Specialist" certified by Volkswagen. After 5 years of working for Volkswagen I went on to work for Mercedes and eventually became certified by Mercedes as well. I'm also ASE Master certified and recertified. Anyways, long story short I'm not trying to pat myself on the back, only trying to explain that I take what I do seriously. I recently had a great client of mine that was having a problem with his vehicle that I couldn't figure out. He had been back multiple times and every month to three months it would malfunction. I spoke with multiple other local diagnostic techs and technical help lines, nobody could figure out what was going on. He then moved to Texas (because he likes living in miserable places) and took it to a guy named Dave. Dave figured it out in the first shot. Not only did he figure it out on the first shot, but he also had no problem talking to me about the problem and letting me know how he found it. Most techs in our industry are very difficult when it comes to sharing information. This is usually because they're insecure about their diagnostic abilities and don't want to get caught saying something wrong. We spent 10 minutes talking on the phone while I'm sure he had better things he could have been doing.... like you know.... making money. Anyways, I'm glad my client found a quality shop which can be really difficult when moving out of state and I'd recommend anyone reading this to give them a shot. read more

My name is Jorge Maese. Today for the first time I took my 2010 BMW 550 Msport to this shop for tire that was wearing uneven. The owner took my car for a drive and I tagged along. He brought the car back and put it on the lift. He checked my car thoroughly and found no issues. He said all was normal. They said I didn't have to pay anything. I was impressed!!! Great place for your European cars. Took my wife's Mini Cooper S here for a battery change and had the work done in a few hours. Sound long for a battery but if you know Minis and BMWs this is good because you have to register the battery in the computer of the car when you change to battery. Very responsive on the phone and a clean shop. Saved me about $100 over what the dealer wanted too and a lot closer to home. read more

I took my Audi to this shop for repair of a window regulator 1 year ago. After having tracking issues 5 months ago I returned to have them fix their job once again. I was told it was a factory regulator and that this problem shouldn't happen again and everything was fixed properly. Well 5 months later and my window is acting up again. Unfortunately, having moved out of the area, I had to take my car to another Audi "expert" only to find the regulator in the door was aftermarket and zip ties were used instead of clips which caused tension on the regulator which made it keep failing. Beware of people who take shortcuts and part swap vs. correctly repair problems. Especially when they charge like they are installing factory parts and demand high labor $$$$ since they're "experts" but don't and aren't. I would recommend finding a more honest shop for repairs to your high end cars. read more

Would give this place more stars if I could. He diagnosed our TDI for free, and told me everything that I needed to fix (wife's car since before she met me that she mistreated for years.) He explained to me one of the more expensive things should be under warranty, and it was! Saved me $1500. I had him fix the rest of the issues, and I asked him to quote me a new AC compressor. He got on his computer and worked one up right then. Before we even finished talking about it, he dropped the price a good bit. I didn't even try to talk him down or anything, seemed like he just discovered he could do it cheaper and actually WANTED to. That's the kinda place this shop is. Great shop. Two very smart car guys. I got bad gas in my VW jetta diesel. If you own a diesel its very hard to find someone who knows diesels. These guys took the proper steps to flush my fuel system and get my car back on the road. They are very upfront with you and communicate with you through the process.
