Predatory Pricing Concerns, Fraudulent Practices & Unauthorized Charges!!!…read moreI do not recommend this shop. Buyer beware. I was quoted $250 for a thermostat replacement and A/C diagnosis, but the final bill came to $550 without my approval of the additional charges. I specifically explained that my A/C had a major leak. Instead of repairing the leak, they added dye and recharged the system, a temporary measure, not a repair, and the A/C issue remained unresolved. I was also charged for 3 gallons of coolant during the thermostat replacement, which raised concerns for me since a thermostat replacement typically involves draining and refilling the system rather than adding a large amount of coolant. The invoice also showed 3 lbs. of refrigerant, while my vehicle's listed A/C capacity is approximately 1.3 lbs. I was verbally told there would be a 1-year warranty, but the written warranty provided afterward stated 90 days. Based on my experience, I have serious concerns about the pricing, communication, and repair process. I have filed a consumer protection complaint with the Georgia Attorney General's Office. Customer Experience - Seeking Resolution…read more I contacted Pure Auto Repair three times: The first two times, I did not receive a clear update On the third call, I was informed the delay is due to a waiting list at the Chevrolet dealership This situation is concerning because I purchased a warranty specifically to protect against extended delays and costly repairs like this. In close to a decade going there one part went up in price by a few dollars from the time I spoke to them to the time I got the repair without them having yet seen my vehicle (another place did the diagnostic and I didn't trust them). They informed me of the price change and got permission to go ahead with the fix. This is more than made up by them times I've shown up with my car going "what's going on" and them telling me what I need to do is "x" for a lot less money. I've never has anything break after they worked on my vehicle. They will respect your choice to go with oem or aftermarket parts

$450 for routine maintenance?!?!…read more These people are absolutely immoral, charging over $300 for just for the labor on an oil change, and then some stuff I didn't even ask for. An oil chance should never cost more than $200 even if you're ripping people off. If you go over that you better be asking people if they want what you're doing to take their money! They took two hours when I was expecting one, so I was getting late to get back to work and couldn't stand around and argue, I'm so pissed at this place. I drove to this location a few months ago on a Wednesday morning and MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR 8:30…read moream Thursday the next day to repair the odometer on my BMW x5. I got there with my husband put him in his wheelchair and rolled him into the office. The very kind gentleman who made the appointment the previous day, was there on Thursday, greeted us and helped us with the wheelchair. When we got into the office another guy said he would ask his top technician if the odometer was something they could service. He quickly returned and said they could not service my vehicle, after I made the appointment and explained to them that it needed the odometer repaired!!!! I wanted to do this review sooner, but I misplaced the business card but I found the card tonight so......... here's my review. This was an inconvenience to be turned away after getting out of my bed early and traveling with a disabled person. I could have gone somewhere else that day to get this done. Please communicate clearly about your services offered so customers are not inconvenienced!
