Absolutely fabulous service. I highly recommend. Here is my experience. I had to replace my FOB on Hyundai Genesis and went to the dealer. Of course, during their initial inspection, they said I need new front breaks, fuel induction, power steering flush, oil change, air filter, and cabin filter. Now, I normally do my routine maintenance with the dealer only during the warranty period. So, I told the dealer to order the FOB, but leave the rest. It just happened that my tire blew the next day, so I took it to this place. While getting my tire replaced, I asked them to work on things Hyundai dealer said I needed to do. First of all, the costs were half of what the dealer was quoting. And the manager found specials online before I even asked for discounts. Next, the manager called to inform me that there is no need to replace my breaks. He said I still enough and should look again during my next oil change. It will be a waste to replace the breaks now. Also, power steering flush and fuel induction are not needed either. He recommended maybe doing the fuel induction during the next oil change and not to worry about power steering flush (of course this will be customers preference, some will do the flush and some will not). Don't get me wrong. I don't mind taking my car to dealers. I understand they will cost more and sometimes I'm willing to pay more depending on the repair. I just want to let everyone know that this place seemed upfront and honest. Trustworthy mechanics are absolutely necessary and I believe I found one here. read more

I lived in Duluth for two years and I went here for all my oil changes/car repairs/etc. They always gave me a good price on oil changes compared to some other auto places, but the crux of my review for this Firestone location is about the brake pads I bought from them in June of 2017. My brakes weren't doing well and so I brought them here to get fixed. They charged me $400 for new brake pads, and it took me 6 months to pay them off. I recently moved to Nashville, and since my brakes have been sounding really bad again recently, I brought it my car into a small, local auto shop. They informed me that Firestone had put on the cheapest brake pads possible which are prone to make the car squeak, shake, and wear out quickly - all of had happened. Firestone did not tell me that could happen, and they didn't give me any options as to which brake pads to buy. It turns out that higher quality ones aren't much more expensive and last much longer. I have moved away from the area, but rest assured, if I still lived in the area, I would never visit this location again. read more

I was charged OVER $700 in repairs on April 21, 2016 that this location DECEIVED me into believing was the repairs needed for my car issue that I had brought to their attention. I originally had an appointment that Saturday but was rushed in due to a flat that morning. I spoke with the rep and told him I needed new tires, an alignment and to do the repairs I originally scheduled for that weekend which involved my check engine light and my car turning off when I use my brakes. He came to me with a list of things equating over $1200. I stated to him, if all of that was needed to repair the trouble with my car do it. I was there from 8:30am-2:30pm. I left believing my repairs were DONE. Almost 1 week later which I thought the problem with my car REOCCURRED, my car troubles had QUADRUPLED! My car was turning of at EVERY stop and I had accelerating problems now too! I called the shop and was told it was NEVER fixed! That I DECLINED the repairs (which I was never offered)YET agreed to pay over $700 towards repairs that were NOT needed at that time, was NOT a safety issue NOR related to my car issue! I was HYSTERICALLY crying in disbelief of this thievery! I called the customer service, gave my complaint, within the same day the District Mgr contacted. At that time he was professional and treated me with urgency. May 3rd, I went back and I was told my repairs was going to be taken care of by corporate. When I retrieved my car 1 day later, I was told by the District Mgr I could not receive a transcript of what repairs they allegedly done to my vehicle to fix my vehicle. May 12th my check engine light is BACK ON.. District Mgr says, that could be a number of things. Really?? read more

I went here last night at a few minutes after 6:00, our check engine light was on and our car was of heating. We had just left a conference and we were 4 hours from home....ugggg, horrible situation! These guys were great! They stayed over an hour late on a Friday night to get us back on the road. They even had to go to another location for parts...twice because the other location sent the wrong part. They never complained and were super nice....Lance runs the I side and was great! Of course car repair prices are never good but they could have sent us away and made us come back the next morning. Hopefully I never have to go here again, but if you live in the area I would highly recommend it! read more

I had my tires replaced recently, buying them online and having them delivered to this Firestone store for installation. The installation took two hours, not the "45 minutes or so" the service manager estimated, but it was a busy Friday afternoon for them. When I drove the car afterward, the ride was very stiff and rough going over any uneven surface - not at all what I expected from the higher end tires I had bought. The next morning I checked the tires' air pressure, which was 40 pounds in each tire (!). Considering that the manufacturer's recommended tire pressure is 28 in the front and 32 in the back, this seems like real carelessness by the installer. So how careful was he with the other important elements of the installation? I have no way of knowing. read more

I went to get my break pads changed for my June 2010 based Honda civic. Firestone here told me the rotors need replacement too(when they just needed resurfacing), so I went with it, wondering how factory made rotors would go that bad when its just 2012. The car is just a year and half old. My bad, I gave them a full 180 dollars for rotors. Secondly, to top it, they said the battery is indicating low rating. They showed me a pretty graph oh how low it is and since I was making a long trip I need to get it replaced. I drive only short distances daily and so their suggestion din't go very well with me, neither their pretty worthless graph! I took my car to the dealer since it was still in Honda warranty and got the battery checked. They said its good as brand new! Ofcourse it has to be!, don't you think so. The rating from both honda and firestone came out to be something around 320. But firestone insisted its low, when dealer said the battery max is 390 so battery is in pretty good shape. So is firestone indicator really off chart? And they are not aware of it? or Its just a way to fool us. Beware of them! I chuck all firestones from now on! read more
