Every single time that I have come here for car issues he has done an excellent job at a reasonable price. He is honest about what you need and does things right! And he does not try to sell you extra services, only what you truly need! He is an honest mechanic. All of the workers here are hard working and always welcome you with a smile too. Oil changes are done excellently as well, and at an affordable price. I have been to several mechanics in Gwinnett before - and no one compares to Sonamoo's level of service and integrity. I had to visit Mr. (Jay) Byun today because I woke up to a dead battery. He's my family's mechanic and I tend to rely on him for my basic car maintenance needs. He's actually the one that convinced me to give up my old car to buy a newer model because he didn't want to "take my money" when my old car was facing never ending car troubles ahead. Long story short, my "newer" car had never had it's battery replaced since 2011 so as the latest owner, I had to take on the responsibility today. Mr. Byun and his team is professional and courteous. It's a Korean owned business but don't let the language barrier get in the way. The owner is fluent in English and he is very passionate about his work so you will not be over charged for any services. He's an honest, Catholic, family man that is very prideful of his work. For today's issue, I was out of there in about 15 minutes. I recommend him to anyone that lives or works near Buford Hwy in the Duluth area. read more

My father and I came here to fix our car. We paid $500 to fix turn signal switch and mass air flow sensor. Remove and replace. The mechanic said drive it around until reaches 70 miles and then go get emission test. We drove the chevy 35 miles and check engine light showed up. When my Dad went to talk to him and told him to help fix it. He wanted more money, very sad. We came to you to fix the problem but you only took the money and ran. I am very disappointed. read more

Had a valve cover gasket replaced. Spent several hundred dollars. Was not told that there were any other problems. Picked up the car and it immediately ran rough and would not accelerate. The car was shaking and jerking very bad and acted as though it was going to cut off at the ref light.
