Went to Firestone to get all 4 of tires replaced. After the service was completed I was not alerted that they had messed up the rear tire by tearing a lug off the bearing hub. I had to find out after picking up the vehicle. The supervisor that I had spoken to Andre was extremely rude to me the moment I had came through to pick up the vehicle. My mom was frustrated and was asking him questions as to what happened and what can they do to fix it. He had demeaning attitude the entire time. My mom's first language was not English but she can understand it fine but he had the audacity to treat her as if she was clueless. He then proceeded to yell at her to leave his store and became very aggressive saying they will only fix if we pay $450 for the part (we had already spent $1100 to get the tires replaced). It was ridiculous how he handled things. We brought the vehicle in to get serviced. Not to leave with more issues and to be treated in such a horrible way. The store had failed to provide us with quality service or customer care. The issue was also never resolved after reaching out to the area manager. So they told us that they were going to gave us a refund but after a week waiting and calling them for the refund they said that refund can't be done because it wasn't their problem that it was a mechanic proble.So we take it to another shop and they do it without excuses, they do it right in lees than one hour. Called to get a quote on a tune up and was told that it would be $460 and that the fuel system flush was included. I find that interesting since the Firestone website says it is optional. The male n the phone then attempted to gaslight me into accepting the service I did not want or need and quoted a ridiculous price to do just the spark plugs which is really all the car needs. **BEWARE: This location will create issues to take your money.** I must begin by saying that Josh and Andre are the nicest guys you'll meet at any repair shop. Unfortunately, the practices of those which work for them are questionable at best, fraudulent at worst. I had my car towed here back in May 2023 as the alternator died. It was replaced with a new unit. Over the following months, issues arose, costing me $400+ over two batteries. The skid plate was loosely attached to the vehicle, causing other headaches, and had to be addressed 3 more times before it was finally secured properly. Oct 2023 I returned to this location with the same issues surrounding the alternator. After dropping another $32, I was sent on my way stating there was no issue and they couldn't replicate the problem, despite my explanations that the battery light has consistently flashed since replacement and the death of two batteries. I don't believe the vehicle was driven at all that day, for as soon as I left the shop, within 1 mile the problem persisted. During this time, the technician cites a known electrical issue with Nissan Maximas (research proved this statement false). Further, there were no documented or experienced electrical issues prior to having Firestone replace the alternator. Fast forward to November 18, 2023. The alternator dies again. The car is towed to Firestone 023027 again. Exasperated by the back and forth with the shop, I contact their corporate office. Corporate involvement resulted in the replacement of the alternator (which should have been done after the first report of the issue.) It also resulted in the shop keeping my vehicle for 4 days with no communication, no offer of alternative transportation during this time, and very little sympathy or accountability for the issues they helped develop. Finally get a call that the vehicle is ready for pickup on 21 Nov 23 at approx. 30 minutes til their closing time. I arrive at the shop, where a techincian asked me when was the last time someone worked on the engine. Reason? A wire was cut from the 2nd cylinder head, causing a misfire. All cylinders were functional prior to towing the vehicle. The tow truck driver never opened the hood. No work was completed on the cylinders, or the rest of the engine, in the 3 years preceeding this debacle. Of course, the person pointing this out denied responsibility in the sabotage of the vehicle. The shop repaired the cylinder but the sabotage didn't stop there. It was a muggy evening the night of 22 Nov 2023 when I arrived to collect the vehicle. I made a point to ask if there were any other malicious acts performed on the car prior to taking it home. Of course the answer was no (who'd admit to committing vandalism, after all?) Since the interior of the car was warm, I decided to turn on the A/C. To my astonishment, no cold air blew out. Just air. I was simply fed up at this point and decided to wash my hands of this particular location. Today is 02 Mar 2024. I decide to visit a different Firestone location for an oil change and to have the A/C repaired. I've been informed that the air compressor is broken and must be replaced. I now must spend another $1172 to get it fixed. Again, there were no prior issues with the compressor. The only change (mistake) was taking it to Firestone #023027. Do yourself a favor: Avoid this shop. Avoid the headaches, misinformation and acts sabotage for the sake of more money. read more

DeeDee. The manager at this establishment was so unprofessional and happened to be a woman of a certain age whom you'd expect to know better. She was cursing intermittently and certainly never heard the adage "the customer is always right." She may even have been taught a whole other school of thought. My partner went into the store right after I'd spoken to Anthony Hurtado whom I spoke with twice that day and saw at the same store on Saturday who told me that it would be fine if I came in at 2p. Well Miss Dee Dee said she knew nothing of it and he wasn't there repeating "... so you didn't speak to Anthony!" So having established that, we moved on to the matter at hand - the van needed brakes and new tires. There was a whole big production and needless to say she couldn't help me but wanted me to bring her the business back if I got my paperwork from the company I'm leasing from straightened out. Yeah Right. I'm from the school of not aggravating the person serving or making your food before you eat. She knew good and well that I needed tires and I was between a rock and a hard place so she behaved thusly. Anthony Hurtado was a joy and a professional. Why he's gone is a mystery to me. God probably saw fit for him to move to greener pasture no longer having to deal with Dee Dee's . Side note: my partner said Dee Dee's countenance changed when I walked in. They said that I needed front and rear brakes, but I got a weird feeling so brought it to another service station where they took pictures and showed me that my brakes were fine. I took my bmw to get a oil change at this location for the first time because the location is close to my office. I have a Firestone account that I've had for years but only used it for different vehicles routine maintenance. Just so happened that the Manager Dee Dee who I had previously encountered at other locations greeted me. I told her I just needed an oil change. After paying upfront and leaving my vehicle. I was called the next day stating my vehicle was ready for pick up. I picked up my vehicle and drove maybe 4 miles before noticing my car was smoking from the hood. I immediately called Firestone. The technician who answered the phone was very inconsiderate. He told me that they do not and cannot work on BMW's He told me to get in the vehicle and drive it back to Firestone. I told him that I did not feel safe driving the vehicle and the vehicle needed to be towed back to firestone. After getting the vehicle towed back to Firestone I got a call from DD the next day stating that a hose was disconnected from my vehicle and that they repaired the issue. After remembering what the technician said I was confused on how or why Dee Dee the Manager told me they fixed a hose that was leaking. Dee Dee was acting super nice stating that they would front all cost and to come drive the car for a couple days etc. I told her no deal! I wanted bmw to look at my vehicle before I drove it. BMW sent me a 3D video of the hose that Firestone tried to rig back together! The video also showed where the hose was still leaking and would have caused the car to overheat or engine loss. The district manager for this location finally called me back, but to know prevail was also rude and nasty. I ended up paying over $700 dollars to fix the negligence of this location. The sad part is they wouldn't take ownership! I called the corporate office and filed a consumer complaint. Do not trust Firestone! Unfortunately they do not stand on principles and morales. I picked up a battery at AutoZone and they told me they couldn't install it as it was complicated and to go to Firestone or the dealership. Headed to Firestone, and Javon told me that he was surprised they couldn't install it as it was a pretty easy install. They had tested it at auto zone and said it was complete dead. Returned the battery and went back to Firestone. The battery and install was cheaper than the battery at AutoZone. He also told me the things I should be aware of on my car, but wasn't necessary. I came here for a lyft inspection and i ask questions before making an appointment.. i asked if this inspection is what lyft needed because i want to drive for lyft, they told me yes, many people come to us for lyft inspection. So i made an appointment with them, came on appointment time and got my car inspected for $21 and the inspection ended up useless and waste of money.. lyft didn't accept the form, hey want their own form.. if firestone knew this.. why not make me get the form first before doing this? I just purchased my car under 2 weeks, after getting my car inspected, they told me many things were wrong with my car and it need this and that fixed for total $421.. so i call CarMax where i got my car from and told them what happened and got an appointment with CarMax. My inspection was 4hours but was free and they told me everything were fine, only problem was the alignment was needed, thats $110 and they don't know why firestone say all the other problems were needed because it is still new.. i asked about lyft and they told me if i come back with a lyft form they can start my inspection because they don't know if lyft takes their form or not and it will be a waste of money (If only firestone do this first we wouldn't be in this situation). read more

I'm kind of late to this review but here's what happened. My cars thermostat was going over half which they tried to tell me was normal but I disagreed for them to tell me that I just had an air bubble in my engine that needed to be burped. They claimed that would fix the issue but my car ended up overheating and smoking and once I called them they told me to bring it back and offered to refund the inspection check which was fine. Once I brought the car back in they stated that they could not figure out what was wrong but after further questioning one of the workers stated that they actually could not check the issue because they don't have the tools to take my bumper off! If that is true this tells me that the first time that I brought my car in for an inspection they didn't really check my car because they couldn't take the bumper off. This was a waste of time and and turned into a bad situation that would've been avoided if the mechanics actually did their job or were at least honest about the situation in the first place! I also want to say that it is not difficult to remove my bumper as I even have the tools at home necessary to remove my bumper! read more
