Upon arriving, I was greeted and my appointment was in the system which made my check in process smooth. The technician covered all services I requested to ensure everything discussed was captured. I left my key and departed. When my car was almost ready, the technician called with some Rex one fathoms that were discovered. I didn't feel pressured to get any nor did I feel they were making up stuff. He was straight forward and expressed what was imminent and what could wait, as well as how each item would affect my vehicle. When my car was ready, I received the call. I've been to this location 3 times in the last few months. I LOVE them. I've gotten an oil change, 4 new tires and replaced a radiator at this location. I previously was a customer at the Tires Plus in Lawrenceville and was about to write this whole company off, I am very happy to see all locations are not the same. They are very understanding and helpful. Suggest coupons and savings. Make sure the work you were "told" you need done at other auto places (including other Tires Plus locations) is truly needed before doing the work. For me, this was very helpful. I need something else worked on and not what the other Tires Plus location told me. If it wasn't for their research and attention to detail I would of wasted money! The last time I was there, 1st week of December, I had a part replaced that took several hours. I went to two places before, however, the first place I went to told me they did not have the tires in stock after waiting a good 20 minutes to even be helped and the second place broken machines and could not service my car. This store is probably the only store closed on Sat. & Sun. because all their mechanics except 2 left the company & their assistant ​mgr left too. Their excuse was none of their parts suppliers had the parts. I called Toyota & Napa auto parts & they had the parts. I lost 4 days of work because of this. This place was great! I got a very inexpensive oil change very quickly. The guy working the office was very friendly and even let me have control of the TV (since I was the only one waiting). The price of a regular oil change seemed very reasonable to me at $35 - and then they applied a $10 off coupon (not one that I brought, just one that they had) on top of that! This was the 2nd time I have used this Tires Plus for my oil change, and I must say they are by far the best maintenance shop I have ever used. My car requires a full synthetic oil that most places don't carry so in the past I have had the wrong oil put into my car. Most places promise that they will top off the fluids and they never follow through. The place I took my care before going to this location told me that I needed new breaks, but when I took my care to this location, they gave me a realistic view on how much time I had left on my current pads. At a later time, I was told by an automotive store that I definitely needed a new battery. They tested my battery again, and said it was fine. They are honest, and don't try to take advantage of me. The Tires Plus on Satellite BLVD in Duluth is consistent, honest, and reliable. Tires Plus is my go to place for car maintenance. Anthony is always pleasant and personable. They always make sure I'm in and out whether it's an oil change or tire maintenance. Today I went in for a tire rotation, balance, low tire pressure indicator on, and an alignment check. Anthony communicated to me to set an expectation of when the work would be completed. I waited for my car so he offered me water and coffee. Once the work was completed the technician test drove the car to ensure everything is running properly. Once the car was returned to me, the technician let me know there were no issues however he suggested that I have my back brakes serviced in the near future. Even though Anthony was extremely busy he took the time to talk with me about the brake issue. I will definitely be scheduling an appointment soon to have this issue taken care of. I desperately needed a tire for a very basic car (hyundai) and I was on a strict time limit being that I needed to leave for work by 9am because of traffic, and by the time I get off all the tire places are closed. I walked into this location approximately 7:34 am Tuesday morning and asked if they could have my tire replaced by 9am, since I frequent tires plus locations I'm aware of how long the wait times can be so wasn't going to be mad if she said no (I was speaking with AMY the store manager) she said she could try but after looking at my car she told me she didn't have my tire in stock and she'd need to order it) I replied ,"well if I come back tomorrow will you have the tire", she said yes, that would give her "plenty of time" to get the tire for me , she took NONE of my information, she let me leave the store , I came back the next day , the day before thanks giving ,thinking she'd had restocked on my tire size and when I arrived the two gentlemen at the desk asked for my name , I was immediately disappointed because Amy didn't ask for my name and that's when I knew she didn't do what she'd promised , of course after checking to see if my tires were in stock they confirmed that there were still 0 in stock , they referred me to their sister location fire stone on pleasant hill , they said they have tires prices around 70 dollars which is what I normally pay for new tires on my very small car , when I arrived at fire stone the gentlemen said the only tires he had were $150 wtf?!?! I went here to get the summer check-up and oil change. Mechanic told me I would have to replace the belt, which they did for me. He also told me that my tires would explode eventually because of the cracks. However, I decided to check with another mechanic afterwards, who told me my tires were fine and they were just trying to make money off of me. They performed the services that I came there for, but I did not like how the mechanic tried to convince me I would die on the highway because of my tires. read more

I had a reservation for 11 AM, Sunday. Despite being the only person there, it took almost exactly an hour to put four tires on. Not exactly a pit crew. To be fair, they had other cars in the bays, just no customers waiting. I got into my truck and immediately noticed that the TPMS light is on. (OK, so they didn't reset the TPMS, as would be standard practice). I go back in and tell them that the light is on. He responds with, "That's a thing for Toyotas. Just drive it for a few miles and the system will learn it." (OK, he doesn't know what he's talking about) Just to prove it to myself, I did drive it for the rest of the day. (Hey, they're tire guys, maybe they know something I don't). Sure enough, the light never turned off, even after I added another 5 lbs of pressure to all the tires. At this point, I don't want to reset the TPMS in case one of the tires isn't transmitting at all. Update 10/26: I had to drive to Gainesville today. About 3/4 of the way there, the TPMS light turned off. I still think they should have reset it, but at this point, all is working. read more
