I went to the shop after I got off work because I needed to head out of town. I was heading to a different used tire spot which I should've went to but end up going to theirs. They did not have the correct tire size and still wanted to charge me $85 which is the price for a new tire. I had to hurry up and leave so I went ahead and purchased a tire now I'm back home driving my car and now there's a rattle sound coming from the right front wheel that was replaced .This space was only Cash so I had to run across the street to Quiktrip to get money out of the ATM to pay for a tire that was too small for my vehicle tire is from 2016. You could look out on the DOT on the tire that is from 2016. And this is what I get trying to support businesses when I should've just went to the spot I was going to. read more

This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a tire shop. From the moment I walked in, it felt like chaos--masked by fake hospitality. As soon as I entered, every employee stopped what they were doing to assist me, and while I appreciated the quick attention, it was clear that it had less to do with customer service and more to do with the fact that I'm a woman. There were other customers who had been waiting before me, and I could feel the tension rising because they were completely skipped. That alone created unnecessary drama before any work even began. I originally came in requesting two similar tires for the front and two similar tires for the back. Simple, right? But they didn't have matching options unless I wanted nearly bald tires--which made no sense. Why would I pay for used tires that look worse than what I came in with? On top of that, once the work was already done, they informed me it was cash only. No sign. No warning. No mention of it beforehand. If I didn't have the cash on me, what exactly would've happened? That's a huge red flag. I ended up paying $300, but only after arguing for a $40 discount because I was given four completely unmatching tires. Again--not what I asked for. I get that machines go down and things happen, but professionalism and clear communication should never go out the window. This shop failed in both areas. There's no reason customers should be blindsided with last-minute payment restrictions or forced to settle for subpar product quality. If you're looking for decent service and honest business practices, I highly recommend skipping this place altogether. Juan's Tires, just around the corner, is a much better option. My car needed a new tire so I had went to a tire shop on the Southside before coming here. The only reason why I came here was because the balance machine wasn't working at the first location. Out of fear for shops closing, I decided to just buy a tire and go to a tire shop closer to my car. I called this place and told them I already have a tire just need to get the rim put on (balance) and to put it on my car. The total was $75. In which I thought was high because my car was only 5 -7mins away depending on traffic light. And I had already bought the tire. The credit/debit card machine was down. Leaving us w. Only 2 options. 1) Cash 2) Cash App with a $2.50 fee since it's a business cash app I probably won't come back because I don't see why it was that much when I had already had the tire and just needed my rim placed in and a jack. Con artists. I was quoted $300 for 2 tires over the phone and because he saw that I had an extra $20 after I counted and gave him $300, he said "I told you $330." He is a liar and a con artist. He tried to take advantage of me as a single woman. He also said I needed new brakes when they just replaced my brakes 6 months ago. The fact they are open on Sundays was phenomenal. A lot of places that we called around to / researched were closed. We called to see if they were open and had used tires and he said yes! We drove up and were serviced almost immediately. He took the spare off and put it in the trunk. Then put the used tire on. Altogether took 15 minutes! There was a car before us and a car after. Pretty steady business. Glad they take walk ins. Service altogether was $50 for the one tire. Only thing is it's CASH ONLY. read more

I had three nails so was unable to patch tire. So I got a tire used for $40 bucks. They wanted to charge me $50, but got a $10 discount for disposing my own old tire. The service was extremely fast-- the used tire is some never heard of brand. Probably just use it till I have enough money to replace it with a better tire. Woke up to a very low tire. Was in a rush to get to work, decided to stop here super fast and have them pump it up for me. A young man finally came out and began inflating my tires. It wasnt until afterwards when he told me it would be five dollars (fellas, its free air across the street at the qt, I just didn't have the time). I gave in and handed him my credit card but noooo they only take cash. I had to walk across the busy street to the ATM, where I was charged $3 to get cash. I walked back, and handed him the $20 bill but noOooO,, he can't give me cash back. I said "if you take cash only, how can you not have change?". He told me the QT will be happy to give me change. I got in my car to drive to the QT, and he told me I had to give him my license while I left so he knows I won't drive off. Was delivered in a very rude way. I walked back, gave him $5, got in my car, and all 4 tires are filled up 12pounds over... He told me "oh it's fine they will go back to normal in 2 miles". I didn't want to argue and just drove away as he shoved the $5 into his pocket. I am livid and will not be scammed by this place again and if I can help it, will prevent others from going through what I went through. As a young girl, the men here made me feel uncomfortable, scammed, and less than. Workers like the ones here need to grow up and learn to respect customers. read more

Came in got a f250 tire a little larger than passenger vehicle they did not have the proper equipment to balance the tire. The hub of the tire was too big to fit on their machine. I told the guy I needed to take the tire elsewhere to balance (a critical important step) asked if he could take $10 off so I could pay to have it balanced. He would not lower his price even though he could not render the entire service typical of any used tire installation. I told him as a result of partial service I would need $10 off or I would have to leave a Unsatisfied report. He was very concerned about a bad review but not concerned enough to do the right thing. At this point he said he would take the tire off and to take my business elsewhere I had an uber waiting on me to finish the tire I argued with the man for 5 minutes. Beware this place if they cannot balance your tire they will not reduce the price they want all their money but are willing BUT NOT ABLE to give all the service for larger tires. Also he placed random wheel weights in place of the ones that were taken off after he realized he could not balance it and the old wheel weight was off installing a smaller wheel weight than was there previously therefore taking more than just the additional money for services no provided. I told him it would cost him more than the $10 he unjustly charged be careful of this place. read more

I called around for used tires, and this place had the best prices. The area didn't seem the nicest, but that's the only knock on this place. It definitely had that shadetree mechanic kind of feel to it. I pulled in and was immediately greeted and shown their selection. I found them to have a large selection of new and used tires and found a used tire to identically match the other 3 on my car. The guy took my tire off, mounted the new one, and put it on my car all for the exact price I was quoted on the phone when I called. Both employees there at the time were friendly, and again, I couldn't beat the prices anywhere. The only reason I went is because one of my tires was not fixable, but if that every happens again, which I hope it doesn't, I'd definitely go back here. read more
