Where do I start? WORST EXPERIENCE! If I could leave ZERO stars, I would! The guy who owns this business seems to be a great guy and very professional, BUT it's all a lie. He is horrible and his workmanship is too. I honestly think these reviews come from a google algorithm he purchased. I was told of a few things he'd be able to including the windshield of my vehicle and after keeping my car for six days overnight - he didn't. I found this out at pick up. Prior to dropping my car off, I told him my expectations and how I pay attention to detail regarding my vehicle. I made a comment that if you see anything, PLEASE let me know prior to wrapping as this is a brand new car with 200 miles on it. When I went to pick my vehicle up there was a chip in the paint on hood from a rock that he covered up with wrap. The windshield tint wasn't done and the wrap wasn't completed on parts of my car. The tint on the windows wasn't properly applied and it wasn't machine cut as he indicated it would be so it looked HORRIBLE! AFTER SIX DAYS! AFTER SIX DAYS OF HAVING MY CAR!! Like wth were you doing? Your reasoning for having my car that long was because YOU like to pay attention to detail, but you didn't. You mentioned you liked to TUCK all of the wrap, but it wasn't! I talked to him about the deficiencies of the job and he told me he would refund me the portion he didn't do! He took $300 off because he didn't want me to make a review, AS HE INDICATED. When I left, I thought the car was in much better shape than what the naked eye could see. Here we are two months later and I can see everything only after putting an additional 350 miles on my car. The wrap on my wing is spotted and the cheap ass 3M wrap around my car is peeling off because he DIDN'T tuck the wrap as he indicated and he had his employee do this botch job. Again, THIS MAN SAID ALL OF MY WRAP IS TUCKED SO THERE WON'T BE ANY LINES!! (That's why I thought he'd needed the car for so long because my other vehicles took a day and they were bigger) So now I have to get ALL of this pulled off and redone because he is not answering calls or responding to text messages! So, I'm out 3k to get this done because of this bad job when I should have been refunded for the whole thing at the start - LIKE I ASKED. This man did nothing right with my wrap, NOTHING. The front tint had to be done over because of the imperfect cut, the hood had to be done over because he wrapped over a rock chip! *sigh. Now my whole vehicle has to be wrapped again. Whew! Jesus be a fence. This was just a trash trash TRASH experience! Trust me, he knows it! Thank GOD for my bank. Back to TINT WORLD I go! I should have stuck with Tint World, but this guy had so many great reviews and the prices were cheaper! I guess this is what I get! Botched reviews, botched service! I'm sure when he reads this review I'll get a response in text message or a response here. Let's see. I'll post pictures of the text I sent him and the bad job. **REAL CAR GUYS** Awesome work and fast! I came in for a quote, and left with a changed ride! Jax and Will really hooked up my ride, and the definitely have a repeat customer. Took my brand new car for Jax to wrap last summer and have mean to put up my review since. Jax was a nice guy but that's about all the positive I can give. My car was with them over a week, for it to not even be fully cured when I picked it up in the rain. In the end that saved some of the wrap job because when I got it home I noticed all the edges had not been properly pressed out. For example my entire hood was curling past what couldn't be seen. So I had to take my own squeegee and tool from cell phone screens to the entire job and make sure my edges were actually pressed down and cured under the hood, around seams, etc. Also I had gone back and forth about the prep before wrapping and was basically told 2 step correction would happen prior to putting down the wrap. That was not true, pretty sure just a standard decontamination wash was the only prep work. But back to the Xpel wrap which is why I went. So as I got very intimate with the entire front end of my car to make sure my thousands of dollars weren't going to waste, I noticed a few specs of dust and what looked like cloth fibers under the wrap, mostly on the front bumper. So that combined with the fact I had to spend a couple hours pressing the wrap down that was sent home still curing I called Jax and was asked to come back in. I did was told insulting levels of bullshit, most specifically that the specs I saw were not dust and specs of microfiber but were really parts of the wrap that were still curing. He then deflected by taking pictures of my car like it was a centerfold shoot. I also did not get a direct answer about the warranty since Xpel is not their usual wrap. He said if I texted I would get receipt... which was just him saying you paid your bill in a text. Then when I asked for more I got similar in email form. Every single person that saw my PPF asked me if I did it myself that first week... everyone. That's the level of quality. Luckily my ceramic guy fixed the majority of the issues with his heat gun prior to coating my car. The biggest issue a few days after leaving Jax was my hood still looked cloudy. I have like 3 peaks in my hood so around them the valleys all had way too much liquid apparently. So without him taking a heat gun to it and smoothing everything out again I think the outcome would have been worse. And when he did actually paint prep there was a major difference, which proved Jax lied about his prep process. So cut to months later and my bumper needs replacement after the wrap did a valiant job of saving it from some major scratches. As I shop around for anybody but Jax to replace I happen to lookup Xpel's kit for my car... since this is what Jax told me he used (I didn't realize I could buy precut kits before that) and I find out the extra shitty looking (custom) job on the bottom splitter actually was part of the kit from Xpel. Jax didn't even cut that custom (which he charged me extra for) so was just a piece he screwed up so bad the folds could never be fixed. So was a little extra screw I needed to finally come post my review. I'll also add the kit includes little tiny pieces to cover the painted areas within the splitter and a few places on the grill, which never made it on my car. TL:DR If you want your car wrapped by a guy that is OK with edges not being properly trimmed, pressed down in places that are out of sight, and has random crap in the air in his shop he'll immortalize under PPF for you then look no further. If you want somebody that takes pride in their work go elsewhere. read more

Let me start by saying that they did have good intentions by agreeing to do my car on Sunday. The instructions were to take the wrap off that I currently have which is only six months old and don't worry about the front bumper as it's going into the shop to be replaced. The job was not done Sunday and was not finished Monday by the end of the day. Also they called me once they started to work to raise the price from 350 to 550. Bare in mind I'd hit send him pictures of the job in detail. He said he did not realize the roof needed to be done as well, even though the picture clearly shows the rap on the roof. They did not remove all the wrap they left a glue everywhere and claimed it was the fault of the person that put the wrap. I drove down from Ellijay for this. On top of this, when I picked it up it was a fresh new dent and I have never seen before. Of course he declined it and said it was there once they removed the wrap. Jax wrapped my Jeep about 3 years ago. It is the Tiffany blue Jeep featured on his site. It was beautiful and the wrap held up nicely. Everyone asked me if it was painted! I have referred many people to Jax and his team. However, when I was ready to remove the wrap, I paid a professional company (Wrap Stars) to unwrap my Jeep, it cost $1500 and there was sticker residue EVERYWHERE. (I SHOULD HAVE GONE TO WRAP ENGINEERS!!!!) They blamed it on the material Jax used and I believed them. However, when I reached out to Jax and explained to him my frustration, he explained that the wrap was removed incorrectly. I had wrapped my jeep right off the lot so the paint had been perfect, so I was frustrated when it was covered in gunk. He didn't have to respond to me, let alone help me out. Y'ALL. Jax had me drop off my jeep, and him and his team worked DAYS AND NIGHTS on my car and made it good as new. He was able to remove all of the residue and make my paint shine. This was something that was not his problem, and he very easily could have ignored me or had me pay out the wazoo for this. However, that is not the man Jax is or the company that he runs. He worked for over a week FREE OF CHARGE and made my jeep perfect. And trust me, I know this was hard work. My husband and I worked a week or so on it and barely made progress. Jax and his team worked so hard and so long and I am beyond happy and relieved to have my jeep the way that I had always dreamed. Jax took care of something that was completely my issue (and another company's fault) and made it right. I will forever recommend anyone and everyone to Jax and his team at Wrap Engineers.
