This is the worst repair facility I have ever been to. I have to come here do to I gave a company vehicle and this is one of the locations my company partners with. I have been here twice. The first time for an oil change, it took 3 1/2 hours. Now my second time here for an oil change, omission and change a light. I got here at 9:30, after waiting 3 1/2 hours they say you're ready. I got in the truck and the check engine light is on. I tell them that my light is on and it was not on before I got here. Now going on 4 hours they say have to do a diagnostics to see what's wrong. read more

Customer service straight up lied to me. I first went to Firestone and they said they couldn't align my car because my tie rods are bad. They said new tie rods were 500$. I went and fixed my tie rods and came back for an alignment. They tell me my car is done. I walk in and they say the reason your alignment went so quick is because you tie rods are bad. The mechanic in the back tried to adjust them they are bad you need to replace them. I then argued with them saying I just got new tie rods. Then they walk in the back and come back. Then they say o never mind I just talked to the mechanic you're fine. Straight up liars. Don't trust these people with your car or your money. The real question is were they lying to me from the beginning. read more

I stopped by Firestone on 290 at 7:30am to get a tire changed. They told me it would be a 2 hour wait due to the workload, so I was advised to do an appointment to go straight into the shop. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment at 4:30pm, had to be pushing them and asking over and over about my SUV, and I was able to leave by 6:10pm. I don't understand the benefit of an appointment for 1:40 hr wait. I had a tire changed at discount tire in the past, it was done in 15min free of charge. Not to mention there were handling multiple customer complaints while I was there. That also says a lot. I definitely do not recommend. read more

Honestly, I regret brining my suv to Firestone on 290 & spring cypress. I am so disappointed and beyond pissed about my experience. I arrived at 8:54 am and left at 2 pm with more issues than what I went in with. I do not recommend this business at all!! I was having issues with my car starting on the morning of August 31st. I called them to see if they did battery sales and install, the guy who answered the phone was nice and helpful. He stated they did and I thanked him and headed there. When I arrived, he was friendly in person as well. Where everything went wrong was right after, he stated it would be "a little wait" to me that meant 30 mins to an hour. I sat there for an hour, and I could see that they hadn't even gone out to my car. By this time, another guy had arrived who was wearing a pink shirt. When I had been there for 2 hours, I asked if I could get an ETA since ppl who had arrived there after I did, and didn't have appointments either, were leaving before me. He stated "oh, they're here for state inspections so yours is going to be a little bit longer" after being there for 3&1/2 hours, and inquiring 2-3 more times, they FINALLY brought my car in. Something that should have taken 30 mins to change, ended up taking longer because the guy stripped the screws on my battery terminal clamps. No one said anything to me, so after being there for 5 hours. I once again asked "what's my eta?" The guy in the pink shirt said "oh? They finished changing the battery already. They're having issues because who ever worked on your battery last stripped the screws on your clamps and my guy is having a hard time getting them to stay" I said "this is a brand new car, I've never had any work done on my battery since I got it" he just looked at me and said "like I said, they're struggling to tighten those screws" and walked out to the garage floor. After being there for 6 HOURS! They finally checked me out, the guy in the pink shirt called the worker who was closing tickets out out to the garage to speak with him. That guy (blue shirt) came back inside and called me over, when I got up to pay he said "they're finally done, someone really did a work on those screws but because you waited so patiently he gave you another 10% discount" not only did the guy in the pink who looked like he was a manager or something like it NOT come back to speak to me OR man up for his mechanics mistake. He had them park my car out back at the Arby's parking lot when they were parking every other customers car in front of the door! He never even told me how they fixed the issue OR apologize. When I went out looking for my car and I couldn't find it, I decided to go around to see if it was at Arby's, sure enough.. that's where it was. I popped the hood and they had left a loose screw right near the hood lock, they also broke the plastic bracket that holds my battery in place which they NEVER mentioned to me AND they left some black melted wire thing on one of the screws. read more

I went in for an inspection and it starts raining. The employees leave my car window open and my interior is soaked ( there were 3 employees just watching while the interior of my truck was getting soaked). They tell me that they can't control "Mother Nature " and that we can't reimburse you or anything like that. I then said ," I understand you can't control the weather but I'm sure you can close the window to my truck". I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

Complete BS and shady management. I don't like to rip business but they deserve every bit of it. Completely unprofessional hack job on my Jag F-Type R and I am pursuing this further. 1) REFUSED to honor friends & family 15% discount on $4800 of questionable work AFTER the fact. They only applied it to a $300 new battery. "CLAIMED" they comped me $1000 in labor. Well I still had tons of hrs of labor and not my fault they broke things. 2) Had car for 3 weeks and called me twice and said car was ready only for me to get there and each time instantly find error codes popping up. 3) The 1st time I tried to pick it up these idiots didnt even re-attach my hood correctly and you couldn't open drivver door without a very loud and obvious pop. 4) After $4800 of work on an entire new coolant system, temp housing, and water pump I drive off and coolant leaks out and completely empty in just 45min. They found the hose leaking and replaced it. PLEASE dont ever tell me the truth that the 1 hose was the problem the FROM THE DAMN GET GO. Then they literly failed multiple times replacing my battery properly. Are you kidding me?!?!?! I told you countless times the system needed to be reset. Julie the store manager should be fired and is en embarrassment to Firestone. I appreciate that it is a very difficult car to work on bit you screwed me over. 1 bright side was Tamia (if I got the name correct) was great and very attentive. I appreciate her efforts. read more

In July 2024, I have two tires replaced. The technician did not install my tires correctly. I noticed that my car was wobbly when I drove it on the freeway. I thought it was the road until another driver told me in October 2024 that my back tires were wobbly. I pulled over to have someone take a look at them in the parking lot. The gentleman and I noticed that the tires were tilted inwards. He stated that he would not fix them because Firestone was responsible. I asked if my tires would fall off while I drove to their location. He stated no because the lug nuts were on tight. I drove to the Firestone in Cypress off 290 and they fix their position. Now, when I went to have air placed in my tires, the tech stated that I needed two new tires. When I called them to explain that they needed to replace the one, the service manager told me that he wouldn't. I would not recommend this place. read more

My father has been going to this location for several years for oil changes and buying new tires for his 2013-X3 BMW. He asked me to take it in for an oil change and we had to make an appointment for another day. When I brought it in, I was treated very poorly the by the rude customer service guy and the manager, Brian, who started talking down to me "like come here!" After I had to wait 4 hours after making an appointment. They said they didn't have the filter in stock, well you knew about this appointment for 4 days, why didn't you order one earlier? My dad also had to replace 1 tire, but told him he had to replace 4 and now they were the wrong size. It broke the boot and axle and the car had to be towed off the highway and brought back. Don't take your car here, unless you want to pay for more repair somewhere else and be treated by shit if you're a woman. read more

Upon leaving a car for rear brake pads and rotors only. The service manager informed my girlfriend that she needed to have the front brake pads as well as the brake fluid flushed. The front brakes had been done recently, and the brake fluid was not contaminated. Once I pointed out that the service rep (Jasmine) told her it was due to brake filings from the rear brakes entering the system. This totaled about $300 half of which was for the brake fluid flush. I then became involved and questioned how the brake fluid system became contaminated from the exterior rotor metal filings. Once confronted with this she became agitated and insisted that it was possible. This, in turn, agitated me and I informed her that was not possible unless the brake system had failed totally to include rupture of the brake lines, which had not been the case. At that she asked that I leave the store in a loud voice announced to the other customers in the store that she was doing us a favor on a busy Sunday. We desperately needed the car for the following day, so I left it there to have the work done. Upon returning to pick up the car we were checked out by another customer service person (Tamila) who stressed that only the rear brakes had been repaired. I shared with her the concern I had earlier with the first service manager (Jasmine) who entered the lobby and began to argue with me regarding the service she was trying to push. She again became angry and asked that I leave the store and said she was going to call the police. She proceeded to supposedly make a call to 911 and was on the phone for a very brief period and stated the police were on the way. They never showed up. Her last statement as we left the store in front of the customers was "F$*K Them" I will not be back. BTW, the brake fluid was not contaminated. I have been a loyal Firestone customer for 10+ years but I am finished with this store. Incompetent is the best word to describe this store. I have had many issues with them in the past. From them denting my car on their lift(which they did pay to fix but company car was out for 10 days, no compensation for that)to replacing a tire with one that was flat 2 hours later.... I'm not sure why they take appointments here as your time slot is meaningless. Multiple times I've made appointments only to be waiting till after the closing to of the store to get my car back. (7+ hours of them working on it). I will be taking my business elsewhere. As well as letting my family members who use Firestone know as well. read more

One of my tires was leaking air. I looked and found a screw in the tire on the middle side of the first row of tread. The tires were installed by this Firestone location. I called ahead and they were not busy and a patch would be free if the tires were installed by them. When I arrived on 1/31/2023, I showed Richi, the Service Advisor, a picture of the screw in my tire and he quickly told me it was not repairable and he quoted me two options for new sets of tires. He wanted $600 or $900 depending on the tires I selected. We looked and he verified that my current tires were installed by them, were around 30 months old, and have ~25,000 miles on them. I took the car to Costco and they patched the tire for $12. Costco has patched tires for me a few times before and I have never had a problem with one of their patches. Firestone is dishonest and I will not use this location again. read more

This location is absolutely terrible with customer service, pricing, lack of communication and listening skills. I scheduled an appointment for an alignment at 9 am this past Saturday. I check in and was quoted $356 for a lifetime alignment. The cost is $209 and another $120 for labor needed to adjust my Adjustable Height Control(ahc). My car was still in the parking lot by 10 am but was advised when I checked in that I was the first alignment for the day. I had prior engagements at noon and took my car back. I was able to find other arrangements to leave my car there at 11 am and pick it up when it is done the same day. I called at 230 pm to check on the status and my car still hasn't been worked on. The service advisor then asked if I was picking the car up tomorrow and I said no. I'm not even sure why she even got that impression. Anyhow, I get there by 3 pm and they still haven't moved my car so I decided to take it to another location. The Tomball location was more professional, helpful and friendly. My alignment was done in a timely manner with the appointment I scheduled and price was only $204 with tax a $20 off coupon. read more

I recommend taking your car here! Dropped my car off for tires and full service. Ritchie was able to get me a quote put together in just a few minutes. Work was done an hour before the promised time, including a new set of tires that had to be brought in from their warehouse. During the multi-point inspection, they found a swollen and corroded battery that was almost 5 years old. Replacing it saved me being stranded with a dead battery soon. We had a 12 pm appt for oil change, tire rotation and balance and state inspection. My 16 yr old son wanted to go by himself. He arrived at 11:40. At 3:30 they had not even taken our car into the service bay. I called and they said "oh is he still here? We thought he dropped it off." He was sitting in your lobby for 3-1/2 hours how did you not notice that??? Besides, even if he did drop it off, why would it take more than 3-1/2 hours to complete? We take our company vehicles here for maintenance and tire services never have problems. Everyone here is nice and friendly, this location stays busy everyday so I understand the wait time and the amount of work to be done takes time. People think working on cars is quick and easy and think in 1 hr all the maintenance will be done. I take my personal vehicle here got 4 brand new tires, mounted with balance and a 4 wheel alignment dropped the vehicle off and got a call 1 hr later and they had to pick up the tires from another location to me this was quick and satisfying work. Everyone here was super! I called ahead to check and see if they serviced what I needed for my car. Their parking lot was PACKED and every station had a car lifted. There had to have been at least 5 guys busy working on cars. There was an older and younger guy working the front. Masks on and super friendly and helpful. Told me it would be a good wait, offered me water and the TV. They were upfront and honest. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and had in stock what I wanted. I bought 4 new tires and a new battery. They even made sure to check my battery before automatically changing it. Of course I knew I needed a new one so was happy when they came back and confirmed my suspicions. My family uses this location and I will try to always recommend anyone to this location. read more

Thought a reputable company would have a better work ethic. Couple of years ago I took it to repair the evap and possibly the knock sensor. Cost a pretty penny, but I did not have time to tear off the intake manifold. Picked up truck and ran well no check engine light. Passed inspection and a week later popped the hood to make sure they used new fasteners. Was surprised to find they had not been touched. It was obvious they did not replace the knock sensor on the Xterra. Took it back to store and acted dumb asking where the knock sensor was. Sales guy grabbed mechanic 1 and he pointed out the o2 sensor. He had no clue where it was. I stated it did not look new. Mechanic 2 points out temp sensor and at this point I look at the sales guy and say I think it is under here. He has me pull it in to garage all the while telling how great the mechanic is that worked on it. An older mechanic comes out and the rep asked him. He says oh these are a pain in the rear. It's right here. I ask him if it was changed. And he says obviously not the intake has never been removed. At this point the sales guy does not know what to do and tells me how he had all these problems with this mechanic and so on and so on. Needless to say I got my money back after a good while went to Angels and have never looked back. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Btw Yelp won't let me select zero stars. read more

I have had issues in the past, and excepted their ridiculous excuses, but today's excuses show me they could careless about their customers. I called the store today at 12:00 pm asking "if I brought in my car in today would they be able to do a state inspection and check out a noise I was hearing"? I was told absolutely. I hadn't heard from anyone by 6:30, so called up there to check on my car since they close at 7. I was told the mechanic has been working on my car but still couldn't find what is making the noise. I was then told they would call me right back, but when 7 came around, no call so I called again. I called back to get the same employee that I have been dealing with since I brought it in, and was told I had to hold. After holding 10 minutes the phone was hung up on their end. I decided to just go up there myself to see what was going on. When I got there I saw they were just pulling my car into the bay. The service employee tried to tell me my pinions, and power steering pump needed to be replaced. Then I informed him I just saw them just bring it in. I then asked the employee if I could talk to the mechanic? When I finally spoke to the mechanic, my suspicions that the customer service person was lying were confirmed. I asked the mechanic when he started looking at my car, and what was wrong with it? The mechanic then just stared at the customer service person looking for the answer. You could tell their BS was starting to stink. The mechanic inspected my car while I was standing there and said my pinions were fine, and I had a leak in my power steering. I explained several times it was my day off and I needed my car the rest of the week, and that is why I called first. The customer service rep finally admitted he forgot. They also forgot to do my state inspection. I told the customer service rep to give me back my car. By now I was very upset that I wasted my day off due to their lies, and blown away how casually the customer service rep disregarded my concerns. To make matters worse, on the way out the rep said "at least let us top off your power steer fluid". Then after waiting a bit longer he came back and said "we don't carry the power steering fluid for Honda's". That was the final straw. This place is a joke. When I asked to speak with management i was told they were gone for the day. I have given this place too many chances, and they keep getting worse. The Firestone on HWY 6 near 290 is much better than this store. I know I will receive an email from Corp asking me to email them the issue. so I will just cut and paste this review. Also the Firestone employee that is in charge of your iyelp page might want to check the hours of operation. It's incorrect. As expected I haven't heard from Firestone yet. I sent the email as requested by FS, but once again they prove they don't care about their customers. The employees are poorly trained, and have no problem lying to your face. They get one star because zero is not an option. Screwed up my kids car, had to file a claim and then 5 days later a claim rep called me after me calling him 4 times and multiple emails. Only to tell me he has to get an inspector out to look at the car which is 3 more business days. Shouldnt that have been scheduled day of the original claim??? So in the meantime the car is parked 40 miles away because the engine is now blown and i am being charged by the day while i wait on their inspector. No offer of a loaner or anything just wait for them to contact me. Because theyve done such a good job of it so far. You'll get better customer service from someone at Walmart. These people are liars and thieves! My son took his car in for a flat tire and was told he need a new tire. House brand for $120 dollars. When he told me about it I told to call back and cancel it, too much for a house brand tire. They told tire was already mounted. Took my son about an hour later to pick up the car and they had the wrong tire off and had not even mounted the new tire yet. Came here for an alignment on my long bed diesel. This after I walked out of a different chain because I was told that before they would even attempt an alignment I needed to have over $3000 in work done. Which I knew was a load of crap!
