10 ounce fillet and garlic roasted broccoli

Food was OK. The steak meal was not anything special. There was a Wagyu empanada appetizer, which was great. But the male waiter was horrible. He dropped off my food and then I never saw him again. I finished eating and it was 20 minutes before I could flag someone down to get him. I handed him my credit card, he swiped and brought it back to me and it was for a different table. To be fair it was 330 when I got there and it was not busy at all. He was more focused on chitchatting with his coworkers than doing his job. The sad part is the poor service really ruined the experience.

I think everyone in Casper eats here. It is very popular and I see why. They serve standard fare in a nice environment. Our server claimed to be the youngest, and I will admit, he was pretty darn good. Attentive, helpful and working hard. Because the place is so popular, it was well over an hour from the time we arrived, to when our food was actually served. The Caesar salad was fresh and tasty. Daily prime rib cooked well and served in large portions. Ahi Tuna served to perfection. Melt in your mouth Parker House Yeast rolls, melted in my mouth and were a taste of real comfort food. Inside the rock and wood beam decor are inviting and warm. Fairly good wine list and local beer available. A word of caution. Go early - the place fills up before 6pm.

I was in town visiting for work and wanted to support a local restaurant. I happened to come in during happy hour and ordered a few things off that menu. The crème brûlée & old fashioned were the best tasting items I had. The baked potato & kabobs were room temperature. The lobster was rubbery, which could be because it was previously frozen. The crab cake was good but not made with fresh crabmeat. I loved the Brussel sprouts but the bacon tasted like previously cooked bacon bits reheated. Service was good.

First time here and it wasn't bad but definitely could've had some improvements. The bread they bring out is very very good, very soft, very buttery. My husband and I got the smoked salmon dip as an appetizer and he liked it, I was not a fan (and i LOVE salmon) so I was disappointed when I didn't like it. The sourdough that comes with it is good alone. I got the french onion soup and it was hands down my favorite part of my meal. My husband got the bison ribeye and i got the filet (with no bacon wrap) and he liked his ribeye, I was not too impressed with my filet. The char/burning on it was very overbearing and there was not much seasoning. We both had to salt and pepper our steaks. Mashed potatoes were bland and the mac n cheese was alright. Onto the service, our server was nice, didn't chat with us, just order and check-ins which is fine, we don't like a chatty server. But, he did not give his name, which I think every server should. I did notice that we had to ask people to remove our dirty dishes though, our server gave us more bread and did not take the old bread plate away, and we were at a table that could only fit two people, and we quickly lost space. When our appetizer came out, the food runner was trying to find room and i had to say "What if you just take this empty plate and that clears up the table"...... that should've been obvious. I saw a manager walking around but a manager never came to see how everything was going (which is standard practice for a steakhouse). Ambiance was nice. Music wasn't too loud and lighting was good. Again, wasn't bad, but for the price, I was expecting a little bit more.

Prime Rib and Brussel Sprouts

Traveling through Wyoming. Went to the Firerock Steakhouse for dinne. Had very high expectations due to the reviews. Well I can tell you they exceeded our expectations by a mile. Perfect service. Joshua was a server and he is a fantastic person. Knowledgeable and friendly. Now on to the meal! I had the prime rib and it was the BEST prime rob I have ever had (I'm a somewhat of a prime rib connoisseur). Hubby had the Bison ribeye. Perfection! If you have the chance to visit this establishment, you will not leave disappointed. Thank you Firerock Steakhouse

Pretty good atmosphere and service. But how do you have a $50 flavorless ribeye? Even the fat had zero taste, it was unreal.

This experience is both funny and sad, but it was convenient to walk next door for dinner instead…read moreof more driving. But clearly, without being anchored in the Hilton, this place would probably be out of business. I really liked the waitress/bartender, but it was clear how exacerbated she was with conditions. I looked at the menu first online and when I arrived, she apologized and said those were out of date. Fine. One diner and one at the bar, I sat at a table. The chair I sat in was really wobbly, so I switched to another as I didn't feel safe given my 6'3" frame. Not much better. So I moved over to the table with a bench. The bench didn't have any functional cushioning, but at least it was stable. When she delivered my beverage, I explained why I moved and she apologized as she knew and that they have been waiting for "their remodel." Later, I heard the waitress apologize to a couple because they didn't have any salt, but they did have pepper! They were taking the food back to their room, so she offered some ideas of where they could find salt. The chicken Cobb salad on Google had a real fried chicken breast, but what they are actually serving is a sliced giant chicken nugget product. They rest was great (salad not wilted or slimy, good toppings) and I liked the blue cheese dressing. So, 3 stars on the overall experience.

The clouds opened up and we decided we'd take chance on the service at the Fort rather than walk that other block. We're so glad we did. We were seated promptly and pleasantly. Our server Matt was prompt, efficient, helpful and entertaining. My husband chose their stroganoff so he told us that would take a bit as they made it from scratch. I had the chicken chimi. Matt told me their green chili was great, just mild. He had them chop up a jalapeño on it and it was yummy. I ordered an Outback burger, fries, house salad and a tall Fosters. I ordered my burger medium well but it was well done. The fries were ok and the house salad was just ok. The beer was good though. Brian provided good service but the food was very average. The next time I spend the night in Evansville I will go to HQ bbq or Texas Roadhouse which are both within walking distance of the hotel.
