The level of unprofessionalism here was honestly shocking. Our waiter disappeared for over 30 minutes without checking on us even once. After repeatedly asking multiple servers just to get simple drink refills, the situation got so ridiculous that a manager finally showed up. Instead of apologizing or even pretending to care, the manager (Juanita) walked up to our table and bluntly said, "What do y'all want?" in an irritated, bothered tone -- as if we were the inconvenience. All we had asked for were refills. That's it. To make it even more uncomfortable, Juanita was visibly frustrated and snapping at employees in front of guests immediately afterward. Watching staff get scolded while customers sit there wondering why basic service is such a struggle really kills the dining experience. If you're looking for a relaxed meal, attentive service, or even basic courtesy, this is not the place. Expect long waits, ignored tables, and an attitude that makes you regret walking in. Save yourself the time, money, and awkwardness -- there are plenty of restaurants that don't serve steak with a side of hostility. They'll probably respond trying to "address" this, but don't be fooled -- this wasn't a one-off, it was a full experience. read more

Service has been spotty (watch the receptionists, they seem to pick favorites to seat first, no method to the madness). We had called ahead and were placed on a waitlist for 645 or 7, as we had a party of 9. Arriving at 630, we were seated at 720, at a table for 7. When we said we wouldn't all fit, they marched us back through the dining room and said to have a seat in the corral for another half hour or so . Some of our party had to go get their child, so we told them we wouldn't all fit not be able to wait another hour to be seated. We then decided the rest of our party would stay, they then said 5 or 10 minutes. We then waited another half an hour , when we went to the hostess and stated there were other large parties seated after us. We were then seated. Our waiter was quiet and not too excited to be there. I must say the steaks, ribs, shrimp and salmon were delicious. Done to our liking, hot and tasty. The chili was horrendous. Fatty and grizzly. The broccoli was rubbery. The hot rolls were yummy. The service model of all kinds of servers other than the one who took the order is bound to cause lots of screw-ups. The pay stand on the table takes your card, but does not show your charges, so best make whichever server asks bring you the bill and take your payment. When the machine charged 80 and I was expecting 60 I got a manager to bring the bill. The server hadn't applied the coupon I had given her as well as charged for 2 items we didn't order and didn't get. Other things went wrong but I just want to warn others to monitor what they get and to never touch that machine on the table. read more

I very rarely feel that eating out is worth the price, that being said I took my sons out for dinner at Texas Roadhouse here in Casper. The food was good, but what made the whole experience fantastic was the waitress. Her name is Jaden she was so sweet and attentive to our every little need. She made sure everything was perfect for us and even got a special brownie for my son's birthday (not a child a 40 year old man) that I like to try embarrass a little now and then. Our server, Sarah, was attentive and friendly- the manager, Juan, came over to ask how everything was and we had a very nice conversation. I came to the great state of Wyoming on a work trip. I arrived on monday the 27th of January. Myself and a coworker dined at Texas Roadhouse every night! the 27th - 30th. Each night better than the last! Service was on point, fast and attentive with everything. Drinks, food, and making sure we were taken care of. After a long day in the yard turning wrenches, Texas Roadhouse was the only way to end our day. So warm and inviting, the perfect ambiance for cold January nights. Customer service was great but the food wasn't up to par. My mom's steak wasn't cooked the way she asked it, the baked potatoes tasted like soap, and the chili tasted, interesting to say the least. I have been to many Texas Roadhouse's across the country and so I couldn't believe it - until I met the bartender, a lump of coal for a personality would be the best description: So, after a steak and a few beers - I figured out why the bar was empty - they charged me $7 for a Modelo(on tap) it was a normal mug, not one of those 24oz mugs - This is Casper, WY, NOT Vegas - So that explains it - $30 dollars for a steak, bread, side and salad and $7 for a beer - I could put up with the coal, but not that pricing - WOW, sorry will not be back. read more

This is a wholesome family place at a scale unusual for Casper, the appetizers were average at best, we had the sampler but the steaks were good, service was ok, loved that the manager stopped by and asked, all in all a decent place to go for a meal. Oughta have more than 5 stars! Refreshing to encounter a waiter who truly ~loves his job! We were passing through Casper WY and wanted a re-he-heally great meal, since we don't have these restaurants near us. Seeing the parking lot was full, we were filled with dread, and looked right next door at that 'Australian' place. Plenty of parking available there, so we instantly knew to turn around. A stroke of luck that the wait was only 5-10 minutes for two people. From the moment we sat down, we were entertained and laughing - tears streaming down my face - till we got up to leave. He was extremely personable, hilarious, knowledgeable about the food and area. He absolutely loves his job! Casper, and the restaurant manager is soooooooooooo fortunate to have him! We watched in awe, and he handled other tables simultaneously and in the same fantastic manner. Where we live, in the Colorado mountains, we don't ever have this kind of experience, and I. Do. Mean. Came here for a nice dinner one night and I enjoyed the experience. The free rolls with butter that they serve are really yummy and I definitely would have been full off of those alone if I had a little less self control. Ordered the New York Strip steak which comes with two sides, I chose buttered corn and mashed potatoes. Although a bit pricey, the portion sizes were generous and it all tasted good. Nothing special. Food was ok, not awful, but not great. Vegetables (carrots & broccoli) we're bland and under cooked, which is better than over cooked , but still not good. Server was friendly, but our orders were wrong (wrong appetizers, wrong topping on my steak - onions instead of mushrooms). Steak itself was cooked properly. Avoid the boneless chicken wings; they came out dry and tasteless. If you want to do a chain steak restaurant, I'd suggest Outback over this one. read more

I went to visit an aunt and decided on eating here, her choice. I chose a ribeye steak and my aunt goes for the country fried chicken. I asked why chicken when you're at a steakhouse, but that's how I've always been. If go to a seafood, I'll order seafood, if I go to a pizzeria, I'm ordering pizza, you get it, right? Well out comes this large ribeye with my baked potato and my aunt gets served her fried chicken plate, which BTW looked pretty good. With a growling stomach, we began to eat. My meat had fat, nerve, and was not cooked the way I requested. It was chewy and certain areas were dry...that was my entire steak! My potato was good, but definitely not what I came for. The service was not quality, so when the server came around and asked how the food was, I explained and that POS server gave me the eye roll, seriously?!? I didn't want to make a big stink because I know my aunt and uncle eat there every now and then, so I bit my tongue. The manager didn't even offer to provide some type of discount, but instead offered to replace, for what another crappy steak, no way. I really wish I had taken a photo of that disgusting meat they call a ribeye. Upon finishing, the server returns and forcefully asks if we would like dessert. I happily looked up and answered no, just the bill. I was ready to get out and head to a fast food for a better meal which is where I should have gone in the first place! Judging by the other reviews I came on a bad night. I asked for a table for just me and was told it would be 40 minutes- no problem I decided I'd just do take out. Placed the order for the 6 oz sirloin and told it would be 15 minutes. I could tell most of the staff was a bit stressed so I left a 40% tip. You'd think they'd be a bit more attentive to you with that. Because 30 minutes later I went and asked for the meal. They failed to provide any silverware. So I was left with asking the hotel for pretty crappy silverware and ate my steak with my hands. Next time do better...and offer water or a drink to someone waiting and earn the tip next time! read more

Haven't been to a Texas Roadhouse in years. In town for business and on a whim, stopped in for lunch. Oh my marvellous! We were greeted immediately, brought to a booth and presented with warm rolls and cinnamon honey butter. Confirmed with hostess this was our first time eating at this location. Server returned to our table with a manager who gave us a complimentary sampling of corn, green beans and mushrooms with onions; each were delicious. We both ordered burgers and fries (I ordered from the kids menu). Meals arrived promptly and were out of this world! Flavorful , juicy meat cooked perfectly. Adult burger garnished with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions and mushrooms. Kids burgers were more like sliders and every bit as delicious as the adult burger my husband couldn't stop raving about. Potato-wedge fries were so fresh, nicely seasoned and tasted like they'd been oven baked - so, so good! If we're ever back in this neck of the woods, we'll return to eat here. read more

Service is good, though they need to have better curbside pickup- they advertise it but then tell you you have to walk through a bar full of mask-less people to pick up your food. Then they will bring it outside if you beg. I think they need to add a drive through! Customers waiting outside are often drinking -- and aggressive. This can be a good food experience if you avoid rush hours. read more

Came with a friend and her family for a birthday dinner. I arrived with one other member of our 7 person party about 15 minutes early. The waiting area was very nice and big. There were 2 televisions with baseball games on and a wall displaying the signatures of military appreciation day throughout the years. Nicely done! Right when our party arrived, which would have been 6:00 they cranked the music up to where you literally had to yell to be heard. Now we are lead into a very full dining room where everyone is yelling to be heard and the music is jamming. One star off for the really noisy atmosphere. The music volume was perfect when we arrived. The seating is all bench seating. Our odd man out pulled up a chair at the end of the booth and we all fit fine. It was hard to decide what to order. They served warm sourdough rolls upon arrival and I had to be disciplined not to fill up on them. They are delicious. I had one with and without the cinnamon honey butter that comes with them. I ordered the chicken fried steak and almost sent out back when it came out thinking they had mistakenly given me chicken fried chicken. The shape was very odd but after the waitress assured me and I cut into it, yes, it was right. The meat had a smoked taste to it I was NOT expecting and wasn't all that thrilled with but it wasn't so bad as to stop me from enjoying my meal. The steak fries that came as a side were generous and had a garlic herb salt on them that made me want to just eat fries! Yum! Everyone had something different from a hamburger to steak to roasted chicken and everyone enjoyed the meal. No room for dessert this time but you can bet we doggy bagged all those rolls that we had left on the table. read more

Always a pleasure to eat here in any state! I love the peanuts! For those of you that have never been here, they have peanuts in a bucket on each table. So of course you get full before your appetizer arrives. You used to just throw the shells on the ground. Peanut shells replaced the hard floor at the one in Tracy California. Just kidding...but you know what I mean. Apparently that policy has changed. So I left them on my plate. I will say, "there's something rewarding about throwing shells on the ground and getting away with it!" I channeling my inner youth! Enough of that let's get to dinner! I had a filet, others had surf and turf, t-bone and a ribeye steak. Although the portions seem small they do fill you up. I also had the legendary sweet potato with butter and brown sugar! It's amazing! They have the typical sides nothing creative or fancy. This is definitely Cowboy steak house. The employees randomly get together and start dancing a line dance out of the middle of the isles. Some can't keep up and others look like they should audition for dancing with the stars! It's fun to watch and adds to the entertainment for the night. When it's your birthday...look out! Here comes another employee get together to Serenade you!!
