Lets start this story with the understanding that while I have dined at 5 Guys restaurants across the nation, this is the first time I used the Five Guys app. I was using it because we were having a busy day and I didn't want to have to go into a diner, wait in line, hob knob around with a bunch of people. We had been moving stuff around in a storage unit and we were tired, dirty and hungry and we had our dogs in our vehicle. Ok now that you know the setting lets get to it. I downloaded the app and navigated through the usual annoying app set up and got to the menu without any issue. My wife and I made our selections. Two burgers and one regular fry, no drinks. Navigate through the tip section. I am picking up, no drive through. No tip. Hate me if you want. $28.53 or 14.26/per person and we are sharing an order of fries. As I said before I have dined at Five Guys all over so it was no shock what the bill was, but we wanted a decent fast food burger and no hassle, so I was happy to pay it. They app said it would tell me when my food was ready. I headed to the restaraunt and jockyed for a parking spot for a few minutes and went in the diner. It was packed. I Looked around for the little shelp most places put up for door dashers and pick up orders. Nada. I opened up the app and it said it would be 8/10 min. So I went back to my truck to keep my dogs company while my order was cooking. After 10 min the App said my order was complete. Awesome. I walked up to the counter where the servers were handing out orders and after a few orders were called out for pick up, I asked the server if this is where the PU was for App orders. The server asked my name and then disappeared back into the fray. A few more orders came and went, and I began to think that my order had been picked up by some other guest. I waited for the incoming line to die down and then asked the cashier if my order was available. He took my name and asked the line cooks to find my order. Which they did, and he told me that I was in the queue and would be notified when it was ready. At this point it was already 15 minutes since the app said my order was complete. So I milled around as another batch of orders were called out. I waited until I started noticing a people who had arrived after me began to get their orders. Mind you I didn't order anything crazy, 2 hamburgers one fry. I had now been in the restaurant for 38 minutes after the App told me my order had been complete and considering my order was 84 and the orders that were leaving the window were 94, 96 I was beginning to get irritated. While I was standing waiting order at least three orders came back missing food or mis prepared, but as this is not their review, I won't elaborate. My wife was texting me asking if I had left for milk never to return. The only reason I had ordered by the App ahead of time was to not be hanging out in a diner while stinking and sweaty, but there I was, 45 minutes standing around waiting for two burgers. When the server called out my order (the same one I had asked to check on my order 30 minutes before and never returned) another diner stepped up and put hands on the bag of burgers. I had to interject and ask if that was for me and swooped in to rescue my lunch from another hungry guest. No thank you, no sorry for the wait. No regrets about no tip. Now for the rest of the story, for those whose life is sooo boring that they are still reading this tome, the burgers were good. As good as any I had ever had from a Five Guys, the fries were ok, just like they are from any Five Guys. That is why I left a two star review, because at lest the food was what I expected. But here is a pro tip, if you are going to use an App or Call ahead number, or a order by web, live up to your end of the deal. If the App says your order is ready, your order better darn well be ready. If you can't live up to that, take down the App, and set fire to your online web business. Then people can make a better decision about where they want to pay exorbitant amount for their pre ordered food. Because your food may not leave a bad aftertaste in your guests mouth but your customer service definitely will. Furthermore, put up a shelf, or a sign to let your dashers and your pre orders know where to pick up. That way they are not hanging out wondering WTH is going on, along with all your other guests. It will also keep your other guests from picking up someone else's food. And if you are the manager at Five Guys in Casper WY and you are reading this. I told you to expect a blistering review, at least I deliver on time. read more

Alright Five Guys, I think it's time we break up. You were never that good in the first place. So I was delighted that today's visit brought back the Pre Covid peanuts for appetizers to munch on while they mess up your order. They also raised the already high prices so a cheeseburger is 8.69 and a little cheeseburger 6.69. Splurge for bacon you high roller and your just shy of $10. So maybe they have Ph.D employees to pay right? Nope. 15 & 16 year old pimple faced children. No manger in sight. So why are we breaking up ask?? Not necessarily because of the price, but twice in a row now they'd messed up my order. The first time they put Mayo on my burger instead of my wives and we both had to have them remade. This time, aka today, I took it to go and they put the double patty on my wives I ordered and I only got one. Since she had Mayo all over hers(Id rather eat cat shit) I was screwed. Meh... It's a Five Guys... What's to like? What's not to like? I'm sure most people are familiar with the franchise. The best of the multi-national chains? Sure... But nothing terribly exciting compared to some of the smaller chains (Note: In-N-Out. Shake Shack.) As a rule, I generally go to Five Guys chains if I can't find anywhere better... if I'm in a hurry, this franchise usually wins... But, waiting 30 minutes to order? At this Five Guys location? Used to come here often. Service has been on a downward slope for a while. Well today was the final straw. Place a $15 online order. They charged my card SEVERAL times until there was no longer any money in my account. I went in to talk to the store manager. He was very rude and and showed absolutely no sympathy. Said it happens often but there was no warning on the website. Often literally no compensation or even an apology. Now I have to wait SEVEN business days to get my money. Now I'm going to have bills late and have to pay late fees. This is ridiculous. I will not EVER be visiting a five guys location again. And I strongly suggest that no one order online. This place has the best burgers in Casper! They will customize your burger with pretty much whatever toppings you can think of. I always get mine with sautéed mushrooms. Yum! The small size of their French fries is easily enough for two people (maybe even three) to share. So don't order a large unless you REALLY want fries! Set up like any other 5 guys. For the price we paid our burgers were very greasy. We ordered the Cajun fries. They were TERRIBLE and actually made both of our stomachs hurt. ok it is what it say burgers and fries. I liked the fact the burgers were made from fresh ground beef vs frozen patties served everywhere else. The fries were fresh cut but they were very oily and I needed lots of napkins. It is better than say going to MCD's or BK but it is still fast food. A bacon cheese burger that is a good size is $6.99 for just the burger the fries cost you $3 to $4.99 (the large for $4,.00 is like a medium soda cup filled with fries) and a drink sets you back another $2.40. NO! just NO! i went here with my girlfriend yesterday cause we flipped a coin; heads= 5 guys burger and fries, tails= olive garden. I wanna give them a better rating but no, they messed up everything. We came into the store which smelled great, had friendly cashier but when the food came after 10 mins later it was wrong; both burgers we ordered were wrong, my girlfriend didnt mind what she had so we kept hers and i exchanged mine, which came out wrong the second time..o well... fries were extremely burnt, it was burnt and soggy which is a weird combo, it tells me that its stale fries refried extra long. dont think ill be going back to this place again. read more

My husband and I treat ourselves while in Casper and go to Five Guys. Today, however, we were very disappointed. The tables were all dirty and we asked for something to clean our table with and the girl came out and cleaned one table and went back to the kitchen. We received our order and my husband had the ketchup cup in his hand and the same girl grabbed the ketchup container and without a word to him just went in the back. He thought she was getting a full ketchup container so he waited...after three or four minutes he came and sat down, without ketchup, and told me what happened. I went to get ketchup and asked the same girl if we could get please have some ketchup and she said there are packets right there...yes, there were three ketchup packets. I went and sat down and another customer asked for ketchup and she said use the packets and he said there were none. She grabbed a box and was throwing them into the container and then got a container of napkins and crammed them into the napkin dispenser haphazardly..with napkins hanging out. There was a huge glob of ketchup on the counter that food bags had been set in and she took some of the napkins that fell out and out them on the blob if ketchup and went back to the deep fryer. The French fries were extremely greasey a sign that the oil needs changed, but, that is harder than filling a ketchup or napkin dispenser so I can see why that hasn't happened.
