Stopped here on my way to a swim meet, and was extremely disappointed with the service provided. First of all one of their kiosk did not work and I was not made aware. Second of all my friends did not receive their drinks with their order and had to wait until the cashier was able to give them their drinks. I wish I could give this a better rating but I can't lie. The food for this McDonald's is stale, cold, or just flat out gross. I went there a while ago, got a double quarter pounder with ketchup only, they gave me a double quarter pounder with a pound of dehydrated onions it gave me a good laugh but I don't enjoy onions at all. Their drinks are mostly always flat which is why sweet tea is better in my opinion the service is extremely good people are nice and friendly until you get to the second window it's very disturbing to see people smoke in the kitchen. The lines are long at times it's mostly in the afternoon because of the lunch rush and I don't blame them for getting the order wrong but adding stuff that shouldn't be like a pound of dehydrated onions is ridiculous. I worked here and it is very corrupt they have us pull fries 30 seconds early the meat only gets checked every 8 hours and it is always messy. Jokingly to attendent, I said no but then pulled forward behind truck in front of me. Then angry man came out, and immediately harassed me, and threatened me. Another employe came out and also (nicer) asked me to move but by then I was just waiting for refund - other vehicle pulled forward so I was able to pull up further. Came inside to order at 1230, lunch time. Got a standard quarter pounder meal. Fries were cooked 20 minutes ago and pulled early, not cooked enough, not warm enough. Bummer, because you know how good their fries can be. Sandwich was not warm and I even ordered it special, thinking they would make a fresh one. Visited this store last week and complained via survey about employees smoking in the outside (clearly marked no smoking) customer patio dining area. I approached one employee who ignored my request, just blew me off. Visited this store again today and the same employee was still smoking on the patio. Obviously survey did no good (I guess managers allow?) Thus this yelp. There was also another employee who was vaping discretely. I would give it even 2 stars but the service I saw tonight was extremely shitty. When me and my friends went there it was 10:01, they close at 11, 12 if you go through the drive thru. They had all the doors locked but one and we only found out about that one because we were trying to go through the drive thru. When we finally got in we waited the usual wait time but they gave us stale fries that were only 1/3 of what they usually put in the bag. We had also heard someone hacking a luggie very loudly into one of our drinks. All of this could've been avoided if they had kept their doors open for a while longer and just let us take our order then head out. Fast Food is a treat as we have no chains in Lusk other than "Scrubway". This McDonald's needs to drug test employee's or get new managment. I ordered a Hot and Spicy McChicken which is simple (spicy chicken, lettuce, mayo, and a bun). When I recieved the sandwich (and mind you that I was 10 miles outside of douglas when I opened it) the sandwich was was covered in a greasy vinegar style hot sauce simialar to "buffalo sauce" and it was so hot that I took one bite and waited until I returned to Lusk to get a real sandwich. Every McDonald's that I have ever been to has never served the Hot and Spicy McChicken like this! Look it's McDonalds so you love it or you hate it. But you always get exactly what you expect to get. BUT this place rocked it. We visited Douglas, WY during the 2017 solar eclipse, and it was PACKED. But the team handled it so well. The line never stopped moving, the orders got filled almost as quickly as a normal day at any given McDonald's, they didn't run out, and they kept a smiel on their face. It was quite impressive, given it's a small town that doesn't experience a rush like that on a regular basis. I was very happy! read more
