This was the most personalable stop, where we learned a ton in a short period of time & were made to feel welcomed by both the owner & the patrons. The building, a house really is an absolute treasure! Of course, none of this matters if the beer sucks. It doesn't! The oatmeal stout was delicious and delightfully dry ' the best oatmeal stout of out trip & we had several. I am actually craving it now while typing about it, despite having 7 choices of stouts in the beer fridge. The dill pickle sour was nice & brine-y... both were incredibly solid selections. The real kicker, & reason I'm kicking myself, we missed the crowler sign! We are certainly looking forward to making a trip back out, tho, & we're bringing a cooler

Frontier Brewing and Taproom is right in the middle of downtown Casper and that makes the location…read morepretty cool. As I have said before I am quite impressed with how many breweries... good ones that have opened up in this city. A number of years ago there wasn't anything all that terribly exciting as far as breweries go here but that has really turned itself around. For this brewery I had their cerveza beer and it was pretty good. Crisp, clean and a nice little kick to it made a very pleasant version of this beer type here. They don't have beer in the cans or crowlers or at least not from what the staff member told me but I didn't see any of that anyway. A good visit with fine beer and worthy of making a return to.

Friendly, attentive and efficient. I'm typically generous with stars and debated giving only 3 rather than 4 stars because we waited six minutes to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant. The waiting wasn't the issue. The issue came from servers strolling by and not even acknowledging us. We are standing at the podium with the "please wait to be seated sign" and two servers are chatting near the kitchen the entire time, one server (female) is chatting with a table of men and another is near the restroom on her phone. None of these four individuals even looked up at us. Another couple came in at minute 3. No response from staff. A third couple came in at minute 5. Finally one server said "someone will be right there". Then a minute later we were seated. Maybe this was a one off? We just probably won't be back.

What a great place! We stopped in for dinner on the way home from a road trip, so happy we did…read more The staff was awesome! We were on the tail end of a dinner rush and they handled it great. They were friendly and courteous and checked on us frequently. I ordered the wedge salad and pretzel bites with beer cheese. The salad was great. It was fresh and the perfect size. The bleu cheese dressing was creamy and so delicious. The pretzel bits were as expected, and the cheese had good flavor, but was warm not hot. It was a little chunky, but I still ate it all. LOL! The in-laws ordered the nachos. They are not your traditional nachos. You get a choice of meat, brisket or pulled pork. They chose brisket. And you get to choose between fries or pork rinds and they chose pork rinds. They liked them. I didn't try them. They also liked the duck wontons. Hubby had the pulled pork sandwich and fries. It was pretty good. I loved the fries. I think they were hand cut, but I could be wrong. We had a great dinner!

Had 3 meat pizza and cheese curds, the curds were a tad greasy but the pizza made up for it :) Told Ben the Fluffy Cow is one of the best IPA's I've had and suggested power for the RV spots would be nice, he said they are working on BIG things to come. A little noisy as it is an open area but very nicely decorated we will be back.

We came in with about 40min til close & started browsing the beer options, while chatting about the Hop Passport and the Harvest Host Program. We loved the large lot & it's nice to have options for those larger vehicles to visit, even if not staying. The raised deck allows for a spectacular view & was still occupied when we left. I can see why it would be hard to walk away from it! Several beers were tapped out &, sadly, due to an equipment malfunction, we weren't able to get either nitro option - thus - Danger Noodle (4.25) & Gruner Bock (4.25) were the brews we went with.
