WoW, oh WoW - do not sleep on this hidden gem!! It took our #1 Brewery Spot on this 3 state trip for several reasons. This was the most personalable stop, where we learned a ton in a short period of time & were made to feel welcomed by both the owner & the patrons. The building, a house really is an absolute treasure! Of course, none of this matters if the beer sucks. It doesn't! The oatmeal stout was delicious and delightfully dry ' the best oatmeal stout of out trip & we had several. I am actually craving it now while typing about it, despite having 7 choices of stouts in the beer fridge. The dill pickle sour was nice & brine-y... both were incredibly solid selections. The real kicker, & reason I'm kicking myself, we missed the crowler sign! We are certainly looking forward to making a trip back out, tho, & we're bringing a cooler read more

I recently had and enjoyed the Night Train Oatmeal Stout from Skull Tree Brewing. Coming to this brewery while visiting Casper was my first one on a recent trip I did. I have to say Casper's craft beer scene is pretty impressive now as there is a variety of them to pick from whereas many years ago there wasn't much of a brewery community here at all. So I am very glad to see this! The staff was also very friendly as well and that was an extra bonus for sure. Getting back to the Night Train Stout, flavor features to look for with this beer are roastiness, coffee and chocolate. The beer is full bodied and nice and smooth. I bought a t shirt here as well making this brewery experience complete. I loved the art on the crowler I got and will keep it with other cans in which their art I appreciate! read more

We really enjoyed our experience at Skull Tree. Coming from Colorado (stopped here on a road trip) we have high standards and they were exceeded. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and the beers were tasty (recommend the Will's Weenus or Night Train.) The tap room was a bit small but cozy. Great brewery! They have a cozy little tasting room that has some amazing brews! I have had a lot of different types of craft beers and they really know how to brew them. We tried the County 1 Honey beer and it was AMAZING!! They had a few other seasonal that hit the spot too. And you can get 32oz Crowlers to go as well. I will definitely be coming back again, this is a must stop brewery. read more
