Where do i get started the worst restaurant i ever went to, the food is horrible found a bunch of hair in my food after i found hair the food was so nasty. don't even get me started with servers and the mangers they all smelt like cigarettes and weed i don't know if there doing a drug business in the back or what. the guy manger there looks like he's high all the time. the servers were rude, even when i asked where is my water they gave me a dirty look and gave me attitude. the tables are pretty clean the only hard workers are the bussers it seems like there treating them like slaves back there how hard there working with not good pay at all. the host are crap all rude with no manners. this place should be out of business how bad it was. read more

I like J's because it's a place that you can go and actually hold a conversation with the people at your table. The service is always really attentive. I wouldn't recommend the Thai salad if you're looking for a traditional salad though. The burgers are incredible! Every person has their own preferences and taste but you can't go wrong with a classic burger here. read more

This Philadelphia boy has loved J's for years, and made it back two nights ago. As always, great craft beers on tap to satisfy the artisan beer fans of all styles, decent wine list, and perfectly prepared burgers and sandwiches with tasty sides! I will continue to think of J's as my go too! Came in for a beer and some grub. I was jonesing for a burger, and J's Pub is close to the house, so..... I ordered an IPA that comes from the local Gruener Brothers brewery. And a house salad with blue cheese dressing. And a mushroom-Swiss burger, add bacon with onion rings. Service - really great. The young man didn't bother me, but he was attentive and friendly. Beer. It's a beer. A 22oz beer, so I'll only have one. I'm glad they have local craft choices. Salad. Everybody should start their meal off with such a great salad. It was large, fresh, tasty, and the blue cheese dressing was AMAZING! Blue cheese dressing is generally my litmus test for a good salad. This salad rocked! Enter the burger with onion rings. I asked for ranch dressing to dip the rings in...only because he asked if I wanted a dipping sauce. Rings were thick, and pretty decent. Not huge rings, but I'm happy with them. Burger. I cut off a small bit to see the cooked temperature. It was perfectly medium. So, still a little juicy. LOTS of bacon, LOTS of mushrooms, and LOTS of Swiss cheese. So, in other words, the bun was nicely filled. I asked for some mayo to put on it, and the friendly dude brought it right out. And it was real mayo, not that disgusting stuff they call 'salad dressing'. Took a big bite. VERY NICE! Last time I was at J's pub was towards the end of COVID to watch the Super Bowl while sitting at the bar. I wasn't hugely impressed with the wings, namely because the blue cheese dressing sucked. Now it doesn't. Friendly serving dude told me that they had changed the recipe, and now it was good. There is music playing in the background, but not too loud. The entire bar is busy with people, and most of the tables are filled. I'll be back. Good food, great service, and so close to Grandma's house. EDIT: I have to add. I'm from Teton County, Wyoming. There is a group of about 9 of us who visit J's every Thursday. We each have between 2-4 drinks each, plus food. This particular day, I walked in & waited to be seated. And waited. And waited some more. Two ladies came in behind me - and we waited. And waited some more. Then a third person came in. And we all waited - and waited some more. No acknowledgement from staff at all. Finally, a bartender showed up - I can only guess to help out. As most everyone knows our group & where we sit, I followed said bartender to a table we normally don't sit. I asked if we could have our usual table. I got the 'eye roll' and she walked me to the table. She slapped down the menus & walked away. After having to wait so long to be seated, her behavior did not sit well with me. I spoke with the manager, who acknowledged she is familiar with our group & our frequency. She apologized for how I was treated & comped my meal. Our waitress - who is familiar with our group - was amazing (as always). She is always amazing! The manager (Ashley) did come & speak with me, acknowledged my frustration & made amends. Will we be back next week? We'll see read more

Tried one more time. Got green chili chicken enchiladas. Pros: quantity of chicken. Cons: quantity of chicken. It was just chicken wrapped in a tortilla. A tiny bit of cheese melted on top and so little green chili sauce I don't think there was even a tsp of it. Dry and disappointing. Their fajitas are so good that I expected this to follow suit. Service was better this visit but a favorite weekly date night place has become an experiment in futility every few months when I get my hopes up. read more

We got chicken wings with feathers still attached, disgusting! The waitress only came around once for refills. They served an Italian flat bread that looked like it came out of the microwave, the pepperoni was hard as a rock and the dish was inedible! The food took nearly 2 hours to come out. Very nice restaurant and bar, but it's hit mass with service and food. Somehow they can't keep it consistent. Probably not keeping them older employees. Are some kind of management problem. My son and myself had Caesar salad, which were old rusty. she threw them away before I got a picture of them. We did not eat it and we showed it to our server which was the bartender young female. She did not say one thing and put them under the dirty plate box. And charged for them. So I figured it wasn't worth saying anything over. Stopped for dinner on our way home from Idaho. They are following COVID procedure well. We were seated in the dining room that has every other table closed. We were presented with clean menus and met by a waitress with her mask on. We ordered appetizers: onion soup, pot stickers, artichoke and spinach dip and burrata caprese. The onion soup is the best we've ever eaten. There is plenty of cheese and the broth is flavorful. My favorite! The pot stickers come 5 to a plate... if you are sharing it's not an even number. My only issue is add one more and charge the difference :). They were YUMMY!! The sauce has a nice kick and the container is just the right size to dip. Well thought out :) The caprese was also flavorful. Loved the way the sliced the tomatoes, and covered the cheese in pesto!! I could do without the arugula and the onions... they needed a few more slices of bread to serve it on. Overall a good choice. The spinach dip was pretty, but too heavy. Needed to be creamier. I would not recommend this dish. Overall had a nice time and our server was attentive! I recommend!! read more

It was a Friday evening, before MAGA Rally, and fairly busy, but they found us a booth with little waiting. Waitress was very accommodating and friendly. I order the Rancher's 8oz sirloin. The seasoning was good, and the green beans were fresh and crisp. The loaded baked potato was above par. My wife ordered the Teriyaki Salmon. She vey much enjoyed it. Not over or under cooked. As a rule this place is a good pick, today everyone must of missed the memo. After ordering and waiting to get app and drinks three tables were seated after us . I can be fairly patient waiting for my food , in this instance the tables that came in after us were getting their apps than their food. Still waiting finally ours came out and I could tell it had been sitting back in the kitchen for awhile, warm would have been good but cold not so much . Hope you all step it up we will have to try and find another go to place for a while. My wife always liked the pot pie , since the recipe got it is not the Sam nor as good. The food and service were great! They have a covered patio and even though there were lots of cars in the parking lot, we were able to be sitted right away and the waitress was there in a flash. My boyfriend and I came here as a pit stop back to Colorado. The waitress (Rose) was amazing. She was so kind and full of energy. She also made good suggestions. We started off with bread and chicken and chorizo nachos. So good! I don't like cheese, but this cheese worked. Then we had some wings which were spicy (yum) an the favor was amazing. My boyfriend liked his Italian flatbread and my southwestern bison burger was okay. I had to give it back to get it more medium raw. I had a huckleberry mule for $5 and it was super strong.
