My family and I walked in and was seated down, was given menus and waited for 10 mins and no one served us or asked what we would like to drink despite my son getting fussy because he was hungry. We've made eye contact with multiple servers and no one helped us. As we got up to leave the establishment is when they asked if anyone helped us and if we wanted to get the manager to talk to. We were sat immediately and waited on shortly after. Our waters arrived quickly and our server, Kopas, was very attentive and friendly. We had bang bang shrimp as a starter, which I highly recommend. I ordered the grilled fish tacos, my husband had fish and chips, and my daughter had a jr burger for entrees. The fish and chips were pretty good, I wish I had ordered them. The fish tacos were ok, they didn't have a lot of flavor, needed some seasoning. The fries were mediocre, tasted like they were leftover from yesterday. The environment was pretty standard for most restaurants, nice open area with nice seating options. The restroom was clean and they had a changing table, which is always nice. I'm not sure I would come back...I wouldn't be opposed to it but I'm not just itching to go back either. read more

We've been coming here for 8 years and over the years the kitchen has gotten worse and worse. 45 minutes for a salad with a grilled chicken is where I'm drawing the line. I've had soup come out after the main course, cold filet, French onion that had like 3 pieces of bread in it. If you've got time the food is decent but plan on at least and hour or more just to get your food. Staff and bar are wonderful, the kitchen needs a lot of work. We'll be putting this place on the back burner for a while until we hear it's improved. read more

To be fair...I've only ever ordered the cubano with sweet potato fries, but I have ordered it more times than I can count. It is, without a doubt, one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! I consider myself a bit of a cubano connoisseur/I will usually order it if it is on the menu but none are better than J's. Wyoming Ale Works has one on their menu but it is not the same as J's. I cannot recommend it more! I could eat it every day. Amazing! read more

We ate here on July 6 2022 for a birthday lunch with 8 people. The waitress was good but the food aas not like it has been in the past. My mom ordered a sandwhich without avocado but it had it on it. Another friend ordered chicken pot pie but it had so much black pepper she couldn't eat it. I ordered the Chicken Nachos and they were soggy as they had top much cheese sauce on them. The ice tea was not a good as before. We will try again and hope it is better. read more

J's was quite simple to me. It's basically your hometown Applebees. Probably not the best review but that sums it up in a sentence. Decor, check. Food, check. Ambiance, check. Yep, Applebees. I had a decent lunch salad which I enjoyed but it wasn't anything special. This is part of the Johnson Resturant Group that owns Fire Rock, Wyoming Ale Works, Jonny J's and Old Chicago here in town. While on business last week I went to Jay's for a bite to eat for dinner. It was one of those deals where I wasn't terribly hungry but I knew I had to eat something otherwise I would be looking to eat at 10 o'clock at night..... so what's a guy to do, I bellied up to the bar. I had good beer and the blue cheese wedge. Everything was great and I wasn't stuffed. The blue cheese wedge wasn't exactly a wedge, but it worked for what I wanted it to do. The outdoor seating look great although it's a little chilly that night. I can definitely say that I'll go back here again next time I'm in town. read more

The hog wings are something to write home about. HUGE! The Gorgonzola ranch that is served with it is amazing. The patio is also really nice and it has dedicated waiters so you don't get forgotten about like some places. I haven't had anything I didn't like yet, probably bc I always get hog wings. YUM! We stopped off here on our cross country road trip! I got the bacon avocado burger and it was delicious. The fries were some of the best I've had in a long time, I would say they're pretty fresh. They also brought out fresh bread for us which was great because we were hungry. Overall they accommodated our party well. read more

Local brews on tap from Snake River (IPA) and Black Tooth (Brown Ale) breweries. I ordered the NY strip steak, with baked potato and asparagus. I ordered the steak medium and it came rare. I'm not one to send food back but this was REALLY rare. When I got it back, it was delicious! Also, our waitress was slow on drinks- even water refills. Getting our check to pay was a chore. Service was not good. We ordered the Brussels sprouts and potstickers. They were both cold when we got them and it took about 30 minutes. We had to ask the busboy to fill our waters. We got the Alfredo and it had no taste. What little sauce there was was clumpy. The Cajun pasta was very bland. It was basically just pasta and peppers, there was no sauce. It's bad enough when you have to spend Easter alone. But! When you decide to go to a restaurant and get food and they greet you at the door. You say, I'm going to want a carrot cake to go and they tell you: it will be awhile before anyone can help you and proceed to answer a pick up order and set people who come in behind me....makes it all the worse. Great atmosphere and always good service. The new menu I have yet to find a favorite dish on. The Guinness stew is good. The menu is a little pricey for the food, but worth it. Burgers are excellent. Salads and dinner entrees good. The flatbreads have been good a few times, and soggy and over covered others. The menu was updated 5/18/2016 and seven new items were added. We had a terrible dinning experience with the food. I ordered the chicken pot pie, not edible. The pie had a dark dry sauce with the chicken and vegetables, taste was terrible. This had set for days and was warmed up to serve. I sent the meal back, was told by the waitress they were having problems with the pies and many of the pies were sent back. My question, why serve a inedible meal? My brother and his wife ordered the special of the day, a Chicken Italian plate, they drove to their home in Cody, sick from their meal. I only gave one star because of good service but the food horrible!!! read more

Went for lunch today, had gone to the nursery just before and the manager was kind enough to let me keep my new plants on their patio so they would be safe from the car heat! So grateful. We were served by Trey who was kind and attentive. Had happy hour drinks and nachos which were HUGE and delicious. Didn't have much room to finish our actual lunch but we got doggy bags to go. Wonderful surprise while traveling through town. Sat outside on the comfortable patio surrounded by beautiful flower baskets. The bison meatloaf sandwich made the "must have again" list; perfectly buttered and toasted bread, thick and tasty slices of bison meatloaf, topped with melty cheese- delish! The prosciutto, arugula, and balsamic drizzle flatbread was fresh and tasty. Service was excellent (thank you, Madi!) and the facility clean. We will be back again! read more

Usually it's pretty good. I've had a lot on their menu and it's not bad, but the fajitas come with 6oz of meat according to the manager. That's two tacos worth of meat for $17. And this last time I had ligaments in the chicken and steak... so it only made one taco. Don't order the fajitas read more

ThIs place is just average. It is clean and the service is good but nothing really stood out. We ordered the hog wings for appetizers. They came out about 30 seconds before our main courses arrived so we took them to go and they don't reheat well. I had the steak fajitas really big portions but only 3 small tortillas. I would ask for 2-3 extra. My wife had the fish tacos and the first one she ate lacked the fish!!!! She did say that they tasted good. The total cost for our meal was $55. read more
