Called Amazing Flame; was familiar with them from having periodic service before. Nolan D was on time, set up very efficiently, worked very methodically and was very clean. He was clearly knowledgeable and experienced. Performed a full diagnostic and a very thorough service -- important for a gas appliance. Not only brought the fireplace back into original working condition, but went to some trouble to remove battery corrosion from remote control receiver and save the cost of a new one. That was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. Amazing Flame isn't cheap but the expertise and value are there.

Also, a surprising amount of space within the brewery from what you expect from outside. Hung out and worked in the loft which I highly recommend for study groups or non-study groups. But then I joined everyone else outside in the fantastic set up: a food truck, generous amount of seating, great conversation with locals, and such a talented singer/songwriter performing. Dan made a trip to our house to assess the exact insert and provided us with lots of tips. We immediately placed the order for the Regency Gi33LE the first week in November, with Stewart for the new gas insert inside our current wood burning fireplace. Much to our surprise, they were able to squeeze us into their schedule to have it installed before Thanksgiving! Dan and his crew professionally installed a new gas line/pipe and dedicated electric circuit inside our house for the new insert and arranged with the Town inspector to obtain permits and inspection. All went exceptionally well. Dan is incredibly knowledgeable about home construction and the gas fireplace products and business. On a scale of 1-10, I rate him a 10 on customer service. With the snowstorm on Jan. 25, 2026, we tested the manual turn on using batteries in case the power goes out. After the test, the fireplace would not turn back on, so I emailed him on a Sunday morning to see if there was a trouble shoot for this problem. Immediately, he phoned me, and within 5-10 minutes, we started the fireplace with his over the phone directions!! Wow, we were so pleasantly surprised and very much appreciative of his support!! We thoroughly enjoy our new highly functional and esthetic gas fireplace insert and the heat that warms our rooms. We shopped at a couple of local places, and we found NOVA Fireplace and Stove the most helpful for understanding the process, options, and prices. They even fit me in before Christmas ahead of schedule. Wasn't cheap but considering amount of work done I think it's been totally worth it. This review is frankly a little overdue, but they deserved it. We had them inspect our chimney…read morebecause it had been badly neglected by previous ownership. Because I was new to chimneys I had a second inspection done. Everything Winston found was accurate. There was no upsell or exaggeration. They provided thorough photographs and explanations of everything they found. Their pricing was competitive with other quotes in the area (and better than one or two popular companies whose name I won't mention but whose quotes were unjustifiably higher). We ended up using a different company for the work but that was mostly because they had availability a little sooner and a comparable quote; it was not a reflection at all on Winston. If I ever broke up with my current company Winston would likely be my first call.
