I never heard of this place before, but stepped in studied the menu and went with the French dip with a side of Mac & cheese and a sweet Tea. I didn't know what to expect, but I did notice the place was clean and they have big comfortable booths so a slid in and waited for my order to be delivered to my table. Look at this beauty. Picture perfect. The Dip was super hot and so was the Au Jus so I started with the Mac & Cheese. Excellent, creamy and overall it tasted great. No issue. The Dip Sandwich was very special for me. the roll was fresh, delicious and held up great with all that meat that I was dipping. I pick the famous sweet tea. For me it was famous and the most refreshing Tea I have had in a long time. This is your spot for the best cold sweet Tea. I didn't know this, but see this is a chain Deli and they have many locations around the country. I have to say this chain is a winner. Great lunch at a better price. Check them out.

I saw there was something like a pick 2 combo, where you could choose 1/2 sandwich, salad, baked potato or cup of soup. I LOVE potatoes, so I was excited to try a half potato and there was a chicken berry salad that also looked great, so I got the half salad as well. My goodness. If these were half sizes, I can only imagine full sizes. I got the aforementioned chicken berry salad, but ended up saving it for lunch the next day because the half veggie potato was more than enough for lunch. I also added a lemonade that was delicious. As a side note, as long as you leave off the dressing, the salad held up fine in the fridge until the next day. Service was friendly and super fast.

On other register young man looking like he just woke up, disturbing to see he seems ok with running his fingers through his long hair at the register while helping a young lady ordering. For my son I ordered 5 piece hand breaded tenders and fries. Wait time was only 7 minutes impressive.

Also reasonable price points for a combo sub to quick pick up for you or the kids. I also had the Mexican Street corn chicken sub ( not pictured) which was surprisingly good. The pictures do not show well, but one try and you will agree. Only con is the pick up location is public for anyone to grab. There is no monitoring which is what happened to me. Guy grabbed my bag (only bag there) and I had to stop him. Could have been an accident but not a coincidence it was by itself. Staff always greets so far (there 2 times)

Honestly I can't remember the name of the sandwich I had - but it was very good. It was combo of meats - salami ham roast beef and turkey. I had provolone instead of Swiss. You get a choice of dressings and I got garlic aioli. They have long sliced pickles (yum) so they stayed nicely on my sandwich. I opted for a bottle soda. My husband got a refillable fountain soda and a side of Mac&cheese. It was nice and hot and tasty. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. They have inside and outside seating. All in all we enjoyed it and will return. Don't forget to download their app for rewards.

To Alexa, who reached me out:…read more "Thank you for reaching out. However, I find your response almost as disappointing as the experience itself. My review wasn't simply about a long wait or an overflowing garbage can. It was about a complete failure in basic restaurant operations and customer service. We waited 21 minutes for two chicken strips and fries while customers who ordered after us received their food first. When I questioned the delay, your employee's explanation was, "You got more food than anybody." That response alone should concern your management team. Your message doesn't address the employee's attitude, the operational issues, or what steps will be taken to prevent similar experiences. As someone familiar with restaurant operations, I understand that mistakes happen. What distinguishes a well-managed restaurant is how it handles those mistakes and responds to customer feedback. I wasn't expecting a generic acknowledgment. I was expecting accountability and a meaningful response to the specific concerns I raised."

Got there just as they were closing and they were nice enough to serve me. For those who've never been here: it is an unassuming, old-fashioned, no nonsense counter service hoagie shop. They slice as the meat when ordered, not before. Through the years they've maintained the same feel and quality with reasonable prices. I got the "monster", size small because I knew I would eat ice cream later. The monster includes ham, turkey, roast beef. I like it mayo, mustard, onikns, pickles, sweet peppers, salt & pepper and a bit of oil & vinegar. I generally prefer hot sandwiches but LaSpada's is outstanding. The portion of meat is plentiful and the sweet peppers reallg elevates it. They wrap the vegetables in two layers of meat which I think helps keep the components in place for every bite. This is a great place to have a tasty and satisfying meal for a low price!
