I got the brisket sandwich which is my go-to in a BBQ place. It was okay... the sauces they had (and made??) were the only things that saved it. Overall I would not come back and support another bbq joint. Also it seems like a fast food chain, that is trying to be mom and pop.. but the price caught me off guard .. would not come again for that.

My brother noticed that a restaurant called Pollo Campero (rustic in Spanish) was ranked #2 for…read morefast food chicken chains in USA Today's 10Best list. Since it was close by our hotel, we took a walk there for dinner: two chicken restaurants for consecutive meals was probably too much. Pollo Campero is primarily a Central American fried chicken chain, with 350 locations worldwide. It was originally founded in 1971 in Guatamala. They are currently in a rapid expansion in the U.S., with this location being one of a dozen in Florida. The state with the most is California, and I'll have to look out for them when back home. You order and pay up front, just like a fast food restaurant. But the food was delivered on real plates and metal utensils to our table once ready and it came very fast. 4 piece Fried chicken with campero beans and campero rice ($15) - I thought the fried chicken was OK. It did come with a dippable campero sauce, a mayo based sauce with spices. The rice was decent, but wish the beans were a bit different than the standard tasteless pinto beans. Campero sandwich ($7.60) - version of a chicken sandwich. Good brioche bun, and a decently juicy fried chicken breast. Campero Bowl ($12.40) - wasn't very good and ended up being very dry. The grape tomatoes were mushy and not edible, and the greens were limp. The fried chicken on top didn't really add much flavor, and the rice was dry with the pinto beans being the same. I did like the avocado chunk along with the corn salad. Individual empanada ($3.10) - small, very thin crust. The filling was tasty but there wasn't much of it. It has a self serve soda machine with Pepsi products. Since the plates were reusable, assumed that they would bus.

Unfortunately not worth the money for a fast food place. You get more portion on sides when you go to a mom and pop shop. Not sure why they are so stingy. Everything however was extremely delicious. But for the price, I don't think I would come often.

The restaurant is inviting and spotless, with cozy booths on one side and tables for walk-in orders. The menu is straightforward: choose between half or whole fried chicken or wings, with options for bone-in or boneless, and spice levels ranging from mild to their special spicy sauces. The food truly impresses. The chicken is perfectly fried--crisp without being greasy, tender, and packed with flavor. It's a clear step above KFC, Popeyes, or any American fried chicken chain. If you're a fried chicken fan, I highly recommend giving this place a try--you won't be disappointed.

Parking can be tricky in that plaza. Everything was clean and the server was chill. He gave me some recommendations that I enjoyed. As for the food. This is some crispyyy chicken. The wings I got were steaming hot when they came out and they tasted as if they were freshly made rather than just reheated. The flavors to me were just right. I also got the kimchi fried rice and it added a nice level of comfort to the food. Initially it seems like this may not be enough but it was more than plenty. Serving size and flavors were there. I'll have to come back to try a different flavor of wings and see if they're still made nice and fresh or if it was a coincidence for my first time.

I do like that the location is very easy to find but parking can be a little ridiculous especially on a busy thing, because the lot is shared with a handful of other businesses. The location is very clean and I like how there are a couple touch screens where you can order your food if you choose not to want to go to the front and order with a person. I usually get the $10 Char meal which is a half Santa Fe burger, a side, five chicken nuggets and a soda . Definitely worth the price! The Santa Fe Charburger is wonderful and the guacamole on it always tastes fresh! The burger is always cooked perfectly and I like the nice little crusted Edge it has because it's a smashburger. The chicken nuggets are also always massive and very juicy. I will say that the staff could maybe be a little more friendly, more times than not my food is served with just being placed on the counter and then the worker walking away without saying much. I do like that I see the manager doing a lot of work while I'm here and you can definitely tell that the female manager keeps everybody in line! The location is always super clean and there are more than enough places to sit down and eat while we're here!

According to my daughter, it's way better than Chipotle because there are more toppings here. My daughter had the App so we also got free Chips & Queso. Our bowls had so much food that we couldn't finish it and brought it home. I was impressed and loved my bowl! Everything looked and tasted so fresh! The chips were so light and crispy. My only complaint was that there seemed to be a lot of broken chips in the bag. The guy that finished off the toppings in our bowls and rang us up was so nice and friendly.
