The sodas taste like a dirty dishrag and zero carbonation. I have been waiting to try Culvers and when I was up in Broward today, I gave them a try. I was conflicted on what to order. The fish and chips looked awesome, but since burgers are one of the staples on the menu, I thought I'd try one and was not disappointed. I ordered the single butter burger which was a smash burger and was delicious. I made it a value meal adding fries which were cooked perfectly and it was great to see they have a decaffeinated soda choice in their lineup. So the food was great and my great rating is for the food only. The counter staff was another story. When I went to place the order, there were several people behind the counter and there were people in line, but they weren't engaging with the customers and none of them seemed to want to be there being very distant. I had been to Culver's in Tampa once and was excited to see they opened this location not too far from me. This location is super clean compared to other fast food restaurants and there is staff walking around to bring people their orders and clean the tables/collect trash. Those employees are very nice, I wish I got the name of the lady who helped me while waited for my things because she was so sweet. The food was very fresh, you could tell it was prepared to order. I completely forgot to take pics but I tried the chicken tenders, fries, and a shake from here. My first visit was a bit rough since the line was all the way wrapped around the parking lot then I had to leave the drive thru to park on the side and wait for my food. I am not sure if it is always that busy or just this time, but I would try it again to explore more of their menu. Maybe placing an online order ahead of time. The Buffalo tenders were pretty okay but I enjoyed the Oreo shake and French fries the most which are my go to at places like these. I love that they're crinkled. This was overall a pretty decent and quick option if you're in the area and the staff is attentive and welcoming. Wow, I was very excited to try Culver's. So many people I know love it. I wasn't unhappy with the food but it did not mesmerize me. I ordered take out and there were probably a dozen employees behind the register and off to the side handling drive thru orders? I don't even know if they have drive thru here, but it seemed they do because these employees were in a separate section. Anyway, despite all the employees no one could tell me where pick up for take out orderes was. No signs and this was very annoying. How can they not know this?!? Finally got the food and went home. I ordered the Butterburger with cheddar. I thought it was pretty good. Nothing too memorable but not bad at all. I am glad I ordered the large fry because I shared these with my Mom and well, there wasn't too many fries for a large. A medium must be super skimpy. She got the Culver's Deluxe including tomato and American cheese. I took a bite to see which I liked better and surprisingly, the burgers tasted the same!! She did have tomato but it had zero flavor. The American cheese tasted like my cheddar. Odd or maybe they just put the same cheese on each one. I assume mine was not cheddar because there was no distinctive flavor. For a company based off their love of Wisconsin cheese, I was not impressed with the cheese on the burgers. Oddly enough, what stood out to me most about the whole meal was the cheddar cheese sauce for $1.79. This was excellent and I would actually stop at Culver's just for this. It was still warm when I ate it at home. I was really anxious for the Concrete and it is nothing to write home about. I got vanilla custard with mini M&Ms and fudge. It was OK. This is hands-down my favorite fast food restaurant. The burgers are on the thinner side, so I definitely recommend going double if you're looking for something more filling. The buns are always soft and fresh, which makes a huge difference. Fries are just okay--not my favorite--but the Culver's sauce totally makes up for it. Where Culver's really shines for me is dessert. It's my go-to spot when I'm craving something sweet. Their custard clusters are so good, and I always check out the Flavor of the Day. This weekend I finally tried Culver's . I know this returner hails from Milwaukee. I personally love burgers so I was excited to try this place out. So you can go inside to order your food or there is a drive thru . So I ended up ordering a burger and the cod other fries with the Oreo custard. Culver's is in the mix-use facility just south of Sterling Road on the west side of University (along with the new First Watch). There is ample parking and the eatery is accessible. You order at the register, get a number, and the food is brought to your table. We tried the rueben, pot roast, and walleye fish sandwiches. We also got an order of onion rings and a scoop of vanilla custard. The breading on the onion rings was light and crispy, but I found myself looking for the onion. All the sandwiches came wrapped in delicious, moist bread. But for the price, we expected a tad more filling. The custard was delish. But at $4 a cup, we could go to our favorite place in Hollywood and get a cone with twice as much custard for the same price. We did not try the hamburgers, their specialty. So we may go back to do just that. Our cashier had a very deadpan look on her face and never smiled (Dominique?). But she gave us a 5% senior citizen discount without asking if we were eligible. (And we were.) So I liked that. There was an elderly lady clearing tables in the dining room, and she was very sweet and took the time to wish everyone a good day as they left. It was a big let down because our order was so large since we wanted to try a variety of items, yet unable to truly be "rewarded". We've wondered if other patrons have had similar issues with their receipt not properly providing your rewards code. For a "new" restaurant, it seemed very odd that it's gone unnoticed or unaddressed after months of being open.... We have gone 3 times, we get two meals one for my boyfriend and one for myself, 40$ total each time. Every single time both of our meals have been wrong. I repeat my order at the window for them to confirm, and it still comes out wrong. (1 example - deluxe burger, the works, single add bacon, came out plain with only bacon, and as a double and it's an up charge for both bacon and a double!!). Drive thru, by the time we notice we can't drive back 15 minutes every single time. 120$ later i don't think we'll be returning. Genuinely so disappointed. read more

This has been a great addition to the area & I've had nothing but good experiences each time I've come. Whether dining inside or drive thru, the workers do a great job at getting orders out accurately & quickly. It definitely gets busy here during peak hours but I never have to wait very long. In my opinion, Culver's probably has the best burger in all of fast food. I like how they're basically a smash burger with a nice char on the outside that gives it a good crunch. The buns are buttery & something about the simple toppings really tie it together. A little bit of mayo does the trick, in all the best possible ways. Their cheese curds are also a must have. Every. Single. Time. They're always fried to perfection. Made with white & yellow cheddar, count me in. Melty, cheesy, crunchy, how could you beat that? Atlantic cod dinner is a must try. Kids meals are cheap and come with a free scoop token, so you can get a little ice cream and meal for seven dollars, if you save 10 scoopie tokens you can also get a free kids meal or souvenir from inside. The service is always good, everyone's nice and accommodating. Inside everything is themed to feel like a little like the midwest. My 3 stars rating is for all of my visits with this most recent visit making my 5 stars experience a 3. As many times as I've been here, this is the first time I went inside. It was quite a few cars in the drive-thru line waiting and I didn't want to get stuck behind anyone as I was only getting the flavor of the day. I walked in and the manager was dealing with ADT and there was a young boy behind the counter taking such meticulous effort in tying his apron just right. I stood there for about 2 minutes with no one greeting me at all. It wasn't until the guy that was taking the drive thru orders outside, came back in, acknowledged me and took my order. To be fair,maybe the young boy wasn't taking orders the day. Maybe his job was to only bag orders as they were being put out. However 1 I'm sure everyone is crossed trained. 2. If nothing is there for you bag and you're behind the counter, a simple "someone will be right with you" was too much say? And 3, this is the best one, no one takes 2 minutes to tie their apron with gloves on and then using those same gloves to bag food. Not to mention the whole time he tried to avoid eye contact. Never been to Culver's before. Heard lots of people talking about this place. Everyone said the frozen custard is BOMB!!! We decided to try it out with the family. I thought it was a sit down restaurant style spot but it's more like, order your food, sit down and they will bring the food to your table with your table number. I don't love the set up when you enter. There was a long line up to the door and it was blocking the pathway to the bathroom and the photo opp area. Such a weird set up. Not efficient at all. The photo opp was so cute but there is hardly any room to take the photo when there's a line because it gets claustrophobic in that area. I got the Butterburger with one patty and onion rings. I also upgraded my meal with a pumpkin shake and it was totally worth it. My son got the Butterburger with double patties and fries. We got our table number and went outside to wait for our order. Burger was just ok. The meat patty is smashed but it was dry. The bun is tasty but with one patty, the bun to meat ratio was not good. I will have to try again with two patties to see if it makes a difference and maybe I'll get a juicy burger next time. My husband liked his burger so maybe it was just me. The onion rings, fries and milkshake was delish! Honestly, I'll take a Steak 'N Shake burger and shoestring fries any day if I want a burger. First time having Culver's and I was not disappointed. The food and service is really good. I didn't know what to expect initially but I was impressed. I tried several different items: -Chicken tenders (both the original and buffalo). The chicken tenders are by far my favorite. -Cheese burger better known as the "butter burger cheese". This was just ok for me. I will say you can tell their burgers are freshly made which is always a plus. -Crinkle cut fries. My on the go drive through salad run was well worth it! I was in need of lunch on the run and I decided to try this relatively newly opened restaurant. The menu selections were plentiful to include burgers, chicken sandwiches, cod sandwiches, shrimp platters, salads along with a variety of custards. Delicious burger, crispy (a positive) & tasty French fries!! I accidentally ordered a hamburger with nothing on it and that could be very blah, it was not. It allowed me to really taste the quality of the burger and 24 hours later I'm already eager to return. I was excited they serve legit sweet tea!! It measured up to this southern girl's standards! The chocolate custard sweet treat was delicious as well. I'll be back within the week. :-) Drive thru staff was very nice. My food was ready quickly. I know a lot of times people have to pull around the corner and wait in their food but that's because all food is made to order. This is a late review from their Grand Opening Day: My husband has been anxiously awaiting Culver's to open. When he heard that our niece had gone earlier in the day on their Opening Day, he wanted to go as well. We got there around 6:00 pm and the drive through line was crazy! We took a chance and went inside. There was a line inside but it wasn't any different than their Margate location. I'm surprised at how smoothly everything went. You wouldn't even know that it was their first day. Of course we got their butter burger and a concrete mixer. I love how the hamburger bun was so soft but the edge was nice and crispy. This is an update to our first visit: Service was a little slow today. They had a lot of employees behind the counter but only one on the register taking orders. Fairly priced with a drink and side, the burger came with 2 smashed beef patties, crispy bacon and a the traditional burger fixins. The cheese was melty and it was a great burger from a fast food restaurant. The fries...were so good! One of the best fast food fries I've had in a long time! We also tried the cheese curds, which came with a side of marinara sauce. They were good, but nothing too special. I have been trying to figure out how to write this review, as they have only been open 2 weeks and I feel that based on that, they are doing a pretty good job....so I will share the positive first... - Although the line was long to place our order & the drive-through line looked insane - the people working there were friendly and didn't behave or look miserable. Maybe a little overwhelmed, but friendly. - the person who took our order was wonderful. She took our order and made sure all was correct. When our order came, it was exactly correct from a order placed scenario. - my kid's spicy chicken sandwich was exactly as requested and she said she enjoyed it. She ordered pretzel bites as a side. The pretzels were good. The cheese sauce was a little watery for our taste. - husband had a double butter burger. It wasn't his cup of tea - not because it was bad - it just wasn't his favorite preparation of a burger. He ordered chili as his side and said he liked it. He wished they had some kind of hot sauce to add to it, but all in all he enjoyed it. - I had the fish sandwich. It was a thick cut of cod, so I appreciated it wasn't a all batter. It was a little oily but it was good and the bun was soft but didn't fall apart. I orders crinkle fries with mine. They were a bit underdone but edible. - we ordered a small concrete to share. We added Reese's peanut butter cups and Oreos. It was delicious and perfect end to our meal. The mix ins were generous and chunky. We would have liked to order it after we ate, but the line was so long we knew we didn't want to get back on line. Even though it sat our table for a while, it didn't ever super melted. - the person who brought our food was very friendly and helpful. - I watched a manager deal with an angry customer - she maintained her cool and stood behind her team, who have only been there 2 weeks, without berating the customer. Now the negative: - The parking lot is a hot mess. The drive through wraps around where cars are parked, making it difficult to get in and out of the spots there. The handicap spots are not easily accessible for entry or exit. - the ketchup & soda area needs someone checking on it often. The 2 ketchup dispensers were empty & the sweet tea was also empty. The area was a bit messy, thanks to customers, but still needs more tending to. - garbage cans were FULL. All in all, we didn't hate it. We didn't love it.
